I say that he is a viable NU sweeper. I've used a physically based Pikachu with Extremspeed with mixed success. Set up some hazards and it can run through unprepared teams.

I had already contemplated Heracross, but with Mienshao he becomes slightly useless. Houndoom on the other hand is a beast. I have yet to have a battle that he hasn't netted me at least 1 KO, and he weakens everything.

I've tried this out and works surprisingly well. Not only does it handle Electric types, but it also deals with Honchcrow.
