    But the problem with those are that to check your sid, you HAVE to save, so you have to rng your id/sid for a shiny starter. I PM'ed Princess of Johto, and she expained it for me.

    So, is id/sid rnging a needed prerequisite for getting a rng'd starter? If so, would I have to go part way through the game to get my sid, then use it to restart my game with the new, desired id/sid?

    What I can't figure out is how to use rngreporter of figure out what frame to hit, because you need your sid to help run it.

    Thanks for the tip, but that won't work for me, seeing as I am trying to rng a starter. What I was trying to ask was how are npc movements are put into frame advancement, is it the npc's that are loaded, or is it only the ones on screen?

    So, is there anyway to track all the frame jumps from the npc's, or, since I am in a town, are there too many of them too spread out and I will just have to sit and wait for varying amounts of time?
