  1. Do People Stereotype You?

You've gone completely off the point. Collecting everyone but yourself into one social group does not work. Therefore, most of these people aren't stereotyping; stereotyping is prejudice and assumptions against one group of society.
  2. Do People Stereotype You?

'Everyone else' is not really a group in the same way atheism is not a belief system; it is the lack of one. Nerds and jocks are of course two examples of stereotypes but that example is an exception in the general replies.
  3. Do People Stereotype You?

That is not how stereotyping works. Stereotyping is assuming certain factors depending on the group that a person belongs to. Imagining or believing that someone is treating you as a stereotype is not done on the basis of the group the accusers belong to.
  4. Cloning your pet

Well thanks. Your post saved this topic with its valued contribution. If you noticed my link (which is lost somewhere in pitiful argument between Lexite and countless others), you would have noticed that semi-successful attempts have been made at reviving extinct species through cloning...
  5. Do People Stereotype You?

I am puzzled by this statement. What relevance does your opinion have to people finding phrases offensive? It's amusing that you think black people should freely use the word "(BAN ME PLEASE)" to refer to each other but think it's such a terrible word that you won't spell it out.
  6. Cloning your pet

Well thanks Lexite and Syberia for fucking up a thread that could have been somewhat interesting. Anyway, for something on topic, here's a story about an animal that was brought back from extinction (albeit briefly). It has interesting implications for the future.
  7. Valentine's Plans?

It's amusing trying to trivialize it by being pedantic but it obviously has modern connotations and customs, whether the meaning was originally inherent or otherwise.
  8. Banned PETA commercial.

Thank you for posting that. What a shame if it had been never been appreciated for its comedic value. McGraw, that tends to be the error with such messages as these but very few people seem to realise it. This is not the first advert to use a statistic with misleading implications.
  9. Do you believe?

Considering the size of the universe, there could be creatures who are as "advanced" as us, who perhaps existed millions of years ago or will billions from now. Aliens that orbit our planet? I don't think so. EDIT: Rather than keep this post short and sweet, I feel the need to point out that...
  10. Cloning your pet

What fantastic journalism. I'd be more interested into finding out where the $150,000 has gone since. People have the right to spend their money as they see fit.
  11. PETA Sez: Save the sea kittens!

Is it really that hard to form a coherent sentence? I have to admit to laughing at some of the lolseakitten.com images.
  12. Are you in love?

Havak, that story was heartwarming. That's really sweet.
  13. PETA Sez: Save the sea kittens!

Gosh, it's so great that this topic wasn't posted in Firebot or we wouldn't get great posts like this. Whether PETA believes in the old adage of "any publicity is good publicity" or not, their advertising is effective. Even if you don't agree with their messages, they get you talking...
  14. Are you in love?

Wow, you are one smooth operator. Try to think about what you say first. Your question was verging on passive agressive, as well. In fact it wasn't even a question.
  15. What kind of ipod do you have

They've brought out headphones with music control.
