You actually find Panpour with scald in the wild, at level 22, so I guess that's a plus for the water monkey. The only reason why Panpour is better than the other two, it's because there aren't many options for water types at the beginning of the game.

To be honest, the elemental monkeys weren't that great in BW outside of the 1st gym. In BW2 you get them before the 4th gym, and by then you should have access to better options such as Darmanitan, Lilligant and Azumarill. So yeah, I think they'll be bottom tier, mid at best. Also, it's sad...

Oh, nevermind then. Thought I could give Zubat some redemption with all the hate he receives :P You can find a Toxic Orb in Rebirth Mountain.

Has anyone tried to use Zubat? They are available early in-game, and are excellent for the 3rd gym, being x4 resistant to bug and grass, while learning Wing Attack right off the bat (pwn intended). Once it evolves into Crobat, it outspeeds everyone and has access to Acrobatics at Level 33. Also...
