We're closing in on the finals I'll shed some light on the procedure, the loser bracket winner will face the winner bracket winner, but the winner bracket winner will only need to win one set vs the loser while the loser has to win 2 sets to become Smash Champ.

Well we could always go beat the crap out of Serebii or another pokemon site if we felt like it, but even that doesn't sound challenging.

Maybe for the next tourney we get a random character to use, because another serious one seems to be a bit out of place, and kinda boring. Dunno, maybe I'm just falling out of a competitive sense...

Doing a two-site tournament actually would be kind of interesting, it's just a matter of choosing a community that has similar competitive grounding to us, and is small enough that we can do a small-ish tournament (64 players max). However, I'm wanting to do that random character tournament as well, it sounds quite fun.

random character tourney would be awesome, but I'm actually even more interested in an inter-site tourney with players roughly of the same caliber as ourselves (how feasible that would be, I don't know).

I wouldn't underestimate a Smogon faction though. We have some pretty mean character specialists on the site.

If we can find a like minded community, doesn't even have to be Pokemon, I wouldn't mind a site vs site tournament, I do have a website in mind and I'll speak with their Smash reps, but for now we will continue with our tournaments, with the next being a gimmick type tournament. (Too many commas aaaaaaaaaaaa)

Alright, as for a forum to ask, maybe Fire Emblem Arena Battle League? They're huge, and there is really no way they can't have a smash addiction. On the random character idea, why not make it so we can't have the chance to use our mains either. Because any of the guys here getting a lucky draw will end up raping the rest of us.

I actually say the pool for random character select should be limited to character that are NOT in Top/high tier. That leaves about 20-25 completely usable characters and at that point, any match will be based completely on skill. Of course, like Wolt said, people should not be allowed to have their mains selected, as someone like me (who mains low tiers save for King Dedede) would have a distinct advantage.

zerowing, if you're able to find us a worthy website, I'm 100% for a cross-site tournament. I really want to see how well we would do. (lol me playing as Yoshi would spell our doom, goddamn low tiers)


As for a 2 vs. 2 tournament Dunk, I think most people can agree that our last one just didn't work out. It may have been due to summer that schedules just weren't working, but for the most part I think it's safe to say that we can't get 4 people at once on, especially now that we're back to school.

Well if we do a 2v2 again, this time I'll actually be able to compete. Although it is excessively difficult to find everyone together at one time.

As for the Falcon tourney, Ganondorf should be optional as well. That would be a sweet tourney.

Lol, silly YK, DO NOT underestimate the FOOTSTOOL bracket!!! I have absolute faith in your Yoshi skills and let's not rule out my Lucas or my Jigglypuff, who I treasure even over my Wolfy (though wolves undoubtedly rule on sooooo many levels)!! =O

Can't wait for it!!! TH is right, our variety and expertise with our respective characters is indeed impressive. ;D

(maybe we should compile a list of the common brawlers here, what characters they brawl with, and who their main is.....let's see just how diversely awesome we are, eh?) ^-^

Actually Maku, I quite like the idea of a list that compiles our top smashers and their mains. You should probably reserve it to top 10-15 though, I'd say that's about fair.

But how do we rank the top 15 past like the 6 or 7 we know to be the best? i.e. Dunk, Roger, Maku, YK, Escal, Chompy, Colin, Hot G, and the like.
