What I was aiming for when I made this team was that I wanted to use stealth rock and sandstorm on the first turn, and utilize sandstorm's effects.
Most of the pokemon I got from smogon and serebii.
The Lead:
Tyranitar @ Lum Berry
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 240 HP / 36 Atk / 48 Def / 184 SpD
Careful Nature (SpD+, SpA-)
-Crunch
-Roar
-Stone Edge
-Stealth Rock
I kinda just took the lead tyranitar on smogon, but just taught it moves to my liking.
Pursuit is used to anybody who is trying to run away from a tyranitar, but I think I might switch it for crunch.
I would first use stealth rock, the roar out anybody who is trying to set up and rack up SR damage.
Stone Edge is a good STAB and hits hard.
Tank/Utility
Gliscor @ Yache Berry
Ablilty: Sand Veil
EVs: 252HP / 40 Atk / 216 Spe
Jolly (Spe +, SpA -)
-Sword Dance
-Roost
-Earthquake
-Baton Pass
Gliscor comes in on physical sweepers and uses sword dance.
And either uses earthquake to take someone out or Baton Pass to Aerodactyl.
Thinking about taking earthquake out for stone edge since alot of flying pokemon are used to switch into him.
Special Wall
Empoleon @ Shell Bell
Ablilty: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm (SpD+, Atk-)
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Grass Knot
-Yawn
He does an ok job against dragons.
And does a good job at walling.
He totally stops gyarados in its tracks with grass knot and bulky ground pokemon gets damaged by surf.
Yawn is used to for anybody that I know I would have a hard time stopping.
Special Wall
Cradily @ Leftovers
Ability: Suction Cups
EVs: 252 HP / 160 Def / 96 SpD
Careful Nature (SpD+,SpA-)
-Rock Slide
-Recover
-Toxic
-Earthquake
Cradily does a pretty good job at slowly stopping the other pokemon.
He comes in and hopefully Toxic hits,
and so the opposing pokemon would lost HP from SR,SS and now its poisoned.
Rock Slide is used to hit anything I can't hit EQ with.
Special Sweeper
Magnezone @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Mild (SpA+, Def-)
-Thunderbolt
-Flash Cannon
-Hidden Power Fire
-Explosion
Magnezone is able to survive quiet a few hits,
and thunderbolt takes out water pokemon pretty easily.
If I fear an EQ I would have him use Magnet Rise.
If its someone I have a hard time stopping,
explosion will usuall get the job done.
Physcial Sweeper
Aerodactyl @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature (Spe +, SpA -)
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
-Ice Fang
-Fire Fang
With his speed and wide range of attacks,
he can take down virtually anything unless he gets walled to death.
But usually with a boost from sword dance,
he can take down alot of people.
Salamence has no chance against him at all since Aerodactyl has ice fang.
Overall: This is a good team. I went 6-1 so far with this team,
only losing cause I made some mistakes.
I do have a hard against Zapdos, Azelf and ghost pokemon.
Especially against really fast physical sweepers like Heracross....
Pokemon in old team:
Lead
Brongzong @ Light Clay
Ablilty: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 152 Atk / 8 Def / 96 SpD
Sassy Nature (SpD+,Spe-)
-Light Screen
-Reflect
-Explosion
-Stealth Rock
I actually like Bronzong as a lead alot.
He survives hits long enough to I can get SR, Light Screen/Reflect
or just one of those, and explode out of there.
Physical Sweeper
Tyranitar @ Life Orb
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature (Atk+,SpA-)
-Dragon Dance
-Crunch
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
Only problem was that he was pretty frail and slow to do any sweeping...
Most of the pokemon I got from smogon and serebii.
