Yeah this is my own mashup (I've started out DJing), and I think it fits the thread. It's Esther by Afrojack and Put Your Hands Up For Detroit by Fedde le Grande, so yeah tell me what you think guys :). I know it's a bit repetitive but my decks don't have the sound effects I want at this point so I have to make do.

/self advertising.

On the note of more established songs being out there:

Martin Solveig ft. Dragonette - Boys & Girls (Laidback Luke remix)

SonicC - Stickin' (Original Mix)

Kid Cudi & Crookers - Day N Night 2010 (BeatauCue Edit)

French Fries - Predator (BeatauCue Remix)

Afrojack, Diplo & Switch - How I Like it (BeatauCue Remix)

Benny Benassi - My Body

NASA ft. Kanye West, Santogold & Lykke Li - Gifted (Steve Aoki remix)

I love the last one especially, Steve Aoki is pretty damn good, shame he doesn't have more solo efforts! Anyway tell me what you guys think of all the songs posted here.

Stallion, being totally honest with you about your work, I have to say that I did enjoy listening to all of it. I wouldn't be too worried about the fact that it could sound a bit repetitive. When listening to the song, I found multiple good and 'motivating' fragments, which make the ear to avoid those parts that may seem repetitive or similar to others. I do like it, congratulations. Feel free to add more of your work if possible ;)

So at the end of Bourne's Ultimatum they used Extreme Ways (by Moby) as the credits song. I mentioned that I knew that song and was surprised when my dad (who was watching the movie with me) produced the album that song is on.

From the dad who systematically debunks nearly anything produced after the 70's. Oh and I like that song.

hardcore is good and it's fun to dance to but honestly it gets silly and overwhelming pretty fast unless you've been doing speed or some shit...
I like dance music a lot, although I am not very good at differentiating between genres and sub-genres, so I just listen and dance and enjoy the aesthetics (it's the only kind of music I enjoy with being critical really)... some examples of stuff I play at parties:

the last one is especially good!

Hmm been awhile since I've posted here. I'm trying to dig up some weird bands.

Robbed by Robots: Friend of mine that goes to UC San Diego sent me this song. They are a local electronic group there I think. I like it. Reminds me of Daft Punk (if they were like juveniles). Interesting beats.

Kids At the Bar: Not sure how I found these guys. So far I've only listened to their remixes which are fucking nuts haha. The link below is a remix of Empire Of The Sun which is one my favorite bands. It just beats you over the head with how awesome it is.

You said to post more of my stuff Setsuna so here goes:

http://soundcloud.com/djdangel/bloody-beetroots-feat-steve-aoki-warp-1-9-dj-dangel-bass-edit

Yeah it's an edit of Warp 1.9 by the Bloody Beetroots (sorry glen!). I have a version with a filter and a flanger but other DJ's I've talked to like this version better! There's still a lot I could do with it, as its a work in progress, but I really like the main saw/chorus! Thoughts?

Anyway been listening to some hot new tracks lately, so watch this space!

Yeah I liked this one too Stallion, though I still prefer the first one.

I've started to compile the major part of the songs that have been posted here, but I still have to add the ones that go without a group, etc. Check the OP for seeing what I'm doing. Tips are welcome btw.

Akcent's new single: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7I9sqR05uYc

hate electronica with acid synths. hate guitar-wankery equivalent electronica. hate stuff like MSTRKRFT. I just can't fucking stand electronica like that. it's painful to listen to, especially stuff like Aphex Twin and Venetian Snares.

i'm a progressivefag. prog trance, prog house etc. except big names like Tiesto because their music tends to be horribly bland.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ckDeNvgi0uI

that's the stuff I like. just not a fan of electronica without deep basslines, moving atmospheres and minimal synth abuse.

I'm not really into techno or dance much, I find it gets a bit repetitive (in the songs themselves, they just never fucking end). It's nice at the club but its not something I'd listen to while lay around or whatever.

'Electronic' wise I love HEARTSREVOLUTION...

Switchblade

Have a couple EPs, coming out with their debut called Ride or Die sometime this year.

And of course Crystal Castles.

I also like music that contains elements of electronic or is influenced by.
