Most of this stuff was just practice. The first link was one of a face off of the back of a magazine that happened to be in the art room. The cups were a classroom sketchbook assignment. The third one was just me doodling designs for the character of a video game Pik and I are working on. The fourth was is just me messing around with some enemy ideas. And the fifth one is the same concept as the fourth - just messing around with some ideas.
Oh and I dated one of them wrong by accident - all of them are from this year d:

Forgot this one~Dang, I really like your style, and how you can incorpirate it into not just sprites, but game images as well. I'd love to see more. :)Sure! I'm in love with these, although I don't understand the "beak, and if you're doing a final evolution, I would suggest doing the arms, haed, and torso of the suit of armor. :P

Though, I would like to know more about it, specifically, what animal inspired it.
This is as far as Im going to get with these design(s). I'm starting completely over and going for a more "Headless Horsemen" oriented design.Maybe, but I knida liked the older one better. This one makes less sense. It looks like a centaur - if you're doing a headless horsemsn thing, I'd make the entire body mechanical. Just me, you can take it or leave it. :PThe idea was essentially to mix the headless horseman with a centaur type thing. I'm really weird like that haha

EDIT: I'm starting to realize that the problem isn't the design itself but it's lack of Pokemon esque lines and shapes. Back to the drawing board for all of them haha.Is there a bit of Gurren Lagann in that design? :o
Like Albinoloon though, I'm not sure how I feel about it. I felt like the head on top of the last one really added a lot to the design.
I can see the centaur thing working out really well, I see that the horse part seems to be made out of some sort of fire/ectoplasm stuff, and I think if you ran that through the suit of armor and put like... a ghostly head coming out of the armor it'd look really nice.
As for my fakemon, it's a mix of a few things, but mostly a Thorny Devil, a Velociraptor, and for a bit of a twist, an anteater.Wow! I like your RBY remakes of old Pokemon, and the Lickilicky used Taunt pic. Especially that Skorupi devamp!
