"Something fierce" is a correct and oft-used figure of speech in American English, so that is ok. There is also nothing wrong with capitalization after the use of ellipses. Other than that, the fixes were spot on.

EDIT: I've corrected the above error.

This is a pretty huge reason for Gengar's popularity, especially in the first generation, as its immunity to both Normal- and Fighting-type attacks meant it could switch in on the powerful physical attackers, such as Tauros and Snorlax, that few other Pokemon could, and threaten them.
Should be a dash (-).

It has already been said that to be consistently successful across all generations, these Pokemon had to have what no other Pokemon had for the entirety of their existence: A tried-and-true, dependable niche or strategy that simply worked from day 1.
Shouldn't be capitalized: "a"

While it was essentially the only special sweeper in the game capable of beating Chansey without killing itself, it did have hard counters in Golem and Rhydon, who were both popular Pokemon, which severely limited its effectiveness.
A bit awkward in my opinion; I'd use either "who were both popular Pokemon, severely limiting its effectiveness" or "both popular Pokemon, which severely limited its effectiveness".

While it was undoubtedly a brilliant Pokemon, it needed time to be used to its fullest extent, for the opposing team to be weakened sufficiently.
This sounds like "while it was undoubtedly a brilliant Pokemon, it needed the opposing team to be weakened sufficiently to be used to its fullest extent." I don't know, the sentence is weird.

First of all, Zapdos gained a reliable recovery move in Roost, which also allowed it to rid itself of its Flying-type weaknesses on the turn it was used, which in tandem with Pressure allowed Zapdos to become an effective staller.
Style edit: "which also allowed it to ... it was used, in addition to allowing Zapdos to become an effective staller with Pressure".

While it doesn't have an incredible Speed stat, its Speed is at least decent, and it has much better defensive stats than Thundurus, as well as Roost, which makes it a much more durable threat.
Overly long sentence maybe? "... has much better defensive stats than Thundurus. It also gets Roost, which makes it ..."

In the recently uploaded FRLG Ingame Tiers article, machop is mentioned, but it has weedle's sprite. Additionally, mankey is mentioned but has machop's RS sprite. Paras also has weedle's sprite.

http://www.smogon.com/dp/pokemon/absol, Swords Dance set.

Bulkier threats to Absol are hard to come by, yet still exist. While frailer Fighting-types such as Hitmonlee and Primeape are OHKOed by boosted Sucker Punch, more defensive Pokemon such as Hitmontop and Hariyama can be problematic, especially if you lack Sucker Punch.
This has got to be a typo for "Psycho Cut" (Hitmontop and Hariyama resist Sucker Punch, and besides Sucker Punch is in the set without alternative options).

physically defensive set, first paragraph has a typo >_>:

This Weezing is almost the definition of a full-stop to physical attackers in UU; with full invesment in his Defense, even a Swords Danced Kabutops's Life Orb-boosted Stone Edge won't be able to bring him down, not even after Stealth Rock! Flamethrower and Thunderbolt form the core of Weezing's attacking moves here, granting super effective coverage on a great many physical attackers. Will-O-Wisp and Haze enhance Weezing's walling capabilities further by permanently crippling his opponents or clearing away any stat boosts they may have acquired, respectively. With only one moveslot left, Pain Split is used as a means of recovering off any damage sustained.

http://www.smogon.com/dp/pokemon/giratina
giratina-o's great wall set has stats capitalized... 2nd paragraph:

Will-O-Wisp cuts Giratina's enemies' Attack Stats to pieces, rendering them incapable of hurting this great wall, as well as biding time for Giratina to use Rest to restore all of its HP, thus becoming ready to take on the next opponent it faces. Sleep Talk enables Giratina to absorb status and ensures that it isn't set up bait for Rayquaza and Arceus, seeing as Sleep Talk may pick Will-O-Wisp and ruin their fun. Roar also allows Giratina to act as a good phazer and can be used over Will-O-Wisp if your team relies heavily on Toxic Spikes, because then Giratina could not burn as many opponents. Giratina also has a distinction as the only common spinblocker, aside from its counterpart Giratina-O, that can phaze. Dragon Claw enables Giratina to severely damage other Dragon-types, OHKO Deoxys-A, and deal a respectable amount of damage to Ho-Oh and Darkrai; whereas Dragon Pulse carries a dash more power against Groudon. Outrage will do more damage than Dragon Claw, and Giratina will not be locked in to Outrage if it is selected via Sleep Talk. However, use it sparingly when awake, as Giratina will then be vulnerable to being revenge killed.

244 HP EVs give Swampert more all-around bulk
In the comments of the Tank set, the above implies that Swampert is using 244 HP EVs when the set actually uses 248 HP EVs.

Moreover, Tangela's bulky defensive nature &emdash in particular its 115 base Defense stat &emdash makes it even harder to take down.
In Tangela's section of Banned Pokemon, "&emdash" is in place of actual em dashes.

In Tyranitar's other options, there is no period at the end of this sentence:

"Still, Choice Specs provides potentially massive power, and the results are extremely rewarding when you predict correctly"

Whereas there should be a period right after 'correctly'.

Please take down the Empoleon page edit. It's just spam. Seriously, it would have been fine if it was on a "hacked funny Pokemon" thread, but erasing all of the other entries? That's just SICK.

Like I said, as a side set, that could have been funny.

But deleting all of the other sets... that's just going too far.

That analysis is both a work of art and a masterpiece of the English language. It will not be taken down, not in a million years, and not if you paid me $100... I might accept $200, though.
