Are you ready for some Poke-ball? Well, it looks like our competitors are! They're not the biggest guys on the field, but nevertheless this looks like it's shaping up to be an exciting battle!

Bug Bite, our brave Caterpie, starts the match off by attempting to tie Happiny up in its sticky silk. However, it looks like Elincia's got other plans, as it intercepts the String Shot with a powerful Fire Blast! The silk is no match for this torrent of flames, and it gets burned up, leaving Caterpie more than a little singed. Undaunted, it goes for it again, this time covering Elincia in long ropes of sticky silk, lowering its speed. In retaliation, Elincia goes to Pound Bug Bite, but between its poor physical ability and the lack of mobility caused by the heavy silk, the Pound is more like a slight love tap.

Seizing on its momentum, Bug Bite decides that now is the time to go for the blitz! It gathers all its strength into one powerful Tackle, ramming into Elincia for a Critical Hit! The impact knocks Elincia to the grass, but she quickly scrambles to her feet. After seeing how well the tackle worked for Caterpie, it tries one of its own! However, like the Pound, the string tangled around its body and legs slows it down significantly, and the Tackle is merely a glancing blow.

The combatants are now on the 40 yard line! Elincia is still struggling with a layer of entangling silk, while Bug Bite seems empowered by the events of this round! How will this battle turn out?

Taking advantage of Elincia's slower speed, Bug Bite escape to the stands by using an evasive String Shot! By swinging into the stands, Bug Bite escapes a good portion of the damage from Elincia's Fire Blast, but finds himself cornered in the stands. In a panic, Bug Bite launches himself at the out of breathe Elincia(getting to stands etc) and sinks his teeth into her with a Bug Bite. Elincia responds by feeding Bug Bite a poisoned egg! I guess this is one way to use Toxic on a baby Pokemon... The round finishes as Bug Bite attempts to climb the stands more, but fails as a Fire Blast sends the poor Caterpie back to earth.
