Looks like Venomoth, Blastoise, Rhyperior, Wobbuffet, Gorebyss, Sceptile and Durant are the notable ones on their way out. Honchkrow, Dugtrio, Cresselia, Umbreon and Smeargle are sitting on the line. Yanmega isn't going anywhere.

Xatu is going to be an excellent Pokemon in this tier. Basically every team relies on getting Stealth Rock up to help combat Yanmega, and with Xatu running around it's really going to throw basically everybody off. Plus, he can do other cool things to support the team. I'm gonna have a blast coming up with some cool sets for him.

Well Xatu doesn't stop Cress or Yanmega, and with Venomoth in UU, it can't reflect Sleep Powder. And also, Tangrowth is now RU, so Eviolite Tangela is gonna have some competition.

Tangrowth doesn't have even close to the defense stat that Tangela pulls out, but you're right, the Leftovers recovery is pretty useful for Tangrowth. Speaking of Xatu, he can happily reflect the Sleep Powders that Tangrowth will be using :)

Tangrowth also has some nice attacking options that Tangela can't abuse, namely Rock Slide, Earthquake, Focus Blast, and Power Whip. Also, I'm sure Tangela is better at taking hits than Tangrowth, but I to what extent? Tangrowth does have Leftovers and a much heftier HP stat to help close the gap.

Xatu is a great addition, but I wonder how long it will stay RU. It's nowhere near as good as Espeon, but it might rise in UU usage now that Espeon traded up.

You're right, Espeon was already OU. I don't know what I was thinking, but it's still usable in UU for the time being. It hasn't traded up quite yet.

Yeah, I feel like we'll have Xatu for a few months after they switch the tiers (next month right?), then it'll go back to UU. I lol'd when I saw Rhyperior so high up in the UU stats, good thing Rhydon is almost the same thing. And seriously UUers, use Yanmega. I mean really, fuck that guy.

If and when Xatu comes down will be somewhat ease the pain of losing Blastoise. Especially since Xatu's bulk is pretty impressive in RU compared to UU at least.

Well from the looks of this, and if it stays the same for a couple of months or so, Emboar will really be the only good Fire or Fighting pokemon in the NU tier. Im so happy.

Looks like Crustle barely scraped the bottom of the RU tier though. I guess people dont realize he is a good Shell Smasher. The top 10 are not surprising in the slightest.

Im also very happy Primeape is good in this tier. Still wish he evolved though.

Sawsbuck is still decent with Sap Sipper. But he does have like 6 weaknesses and only 95 base speed. So eh he is gimmicky as always.

Clefable is #18 while Munchlax, Lickilicky and Audino are nowhere to be seen. Old habits never die I guess...

Steelix being higher than Aggron (#35 and #39 respectively) is just lol.

Sceptile at #19 is just criminal. Won't matter now I suppose since its going UU.

It's gonna take another round or two for RU to settle down. Clefable should at least be getting some competition as a special wall.

I guess people realised that it just wasn't as useful as it was hyped up to be as a physical wall. Entei, Honchkrow, Mixed Sharpedo, Durant, Scyther all have ways to beat it (obvious ways...) and that's only the main threats. Tangela is also U-Turn fodder for Primeape and co. so I guess people tried him and dropped him. Also it faces stiff competition from Ferroseed.

They already are down, look at the UU usage stats. Give it a day before the tier changes are implimented on PO.
