I would like to argue for the case of Kingler to be added to the list for analysiseseseses. As the owner of the highest attack stat of any Water Type at Base 130 and access to two great boosting moves in Agility and Swords Dance he is a menace is he is allowed to set up. With good physical bulk and the ability to get great neutral coverage with his STAB Crabhammer and Return hitting everything bar Ferroseed and Shedinja in the UU Tier (I think.) Regardless, I think those attributes make him deserving of a UU Analysis.
I'm not really opposed to a Kingler analysis. Since we're starting to approve the lower pokes, Kingler's far from awful. It makes for an impressive Shell-Pass target.

If no other QC members are going to disapprove, I'd say go for it.

[09:29am] PKGaming: Ok, if pokemon like jumpluff are getting an analysis than I guess you can go ahead and take it off the list
[09:29am] ChouToshio: you mean Kingler
[09:30am] PKGaming: Oh no, i'm serious, jumpluff got an analysis ~_~
[09:30am] PKGaming: So yeah, go ahead and allow Kingler

Ursaring should be able to get AT LEAST a UU analysis. Here's my proof.
http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3452466
I use it in my OU team all the time. It works.
How is that proof? That's just a link to a locked analysis that you posted. Proof would be logs of you sweeping UU teams with Ursaring and making an argument of why it is good in UU. I don't doubt that Ursaring isn't good it's just that for it to get an analysis you're going to need to make a compelling argument for it.

I'm going to have to agree with Oglemi. I think it could be a good Pokemon, but I'd like to see a better presented argument...

Well if Kingler ends up getting rejected by QC (already 1/3) I might put together an argument for that big lovable bear who will rip your face off

id like to remove simisear (the fire monkey) off the list. it has a much better time pulling off a nasty plot sweep than Houndoom, and is not completely outclassed by anything as a fire type sweeper in this metagame (infernape has ou). it has a decent movepool with fire blast, focus blast, grass knot, and hidden power. also its bad typing isnt much of an issue if its defenses are THAT bad. he also reaches a REALLY nice speed tier for this meta, and outside of priority and scarfers, it can actually sweep pretty well.

if simipour gets an analysis, then i think simisear should, as they have the same issues with no differences besides typing. defensively water may be better, but with those defenes it wont make enough of a difference. and then offensively they are both very nice. also fire blast has more accuracy than hydro miss :D

Well... Simisear is faster than Houndoom and even Celebi, though he's slower than Azelf. The main problem with him, though, is that he has a very shallow special movepool. A set would probably look like Flamethrower/Fire Blast, Focus Blast, Grass Knot, and Nasty Plot. Unfortunately, Simisear has poor defenses as well as a rather low Special Attack of 98. Don't think Simisage will ever get taken off the list, though, as the only advantage he has over Celebi as a Nasty Plot user is one more speed point.

I don't really think that one more speed point is enough to merit using it over victini though, especially since like none of the threats that it has bar flygon (which I assume can be hit with hp ice or something) are handled any better by simisear.

EDIT: A list of what random pokemon with 100 base speed do to victini and simisear

Zapdos: Usually univested in speed (mostly I see subroosttoxic), Simisear I don't think OHKOes without LO and does not always OHKO with Nasty Plot if it is specially defensive (but I don't know what evs they usually run); realistically, dos doesn't really switch into either poke because both mean that it has to take strong fire moves.

Mew: Usually uninvested in speed

Celebi: lol

Flygon: like I said, simisear handles it better

Shaymin: lol

Victini: Simisear can't handle it at all due to its bulk; the strongest move it has is lolhiddenpower.

I realize it has nasty plot, but victini actually has the power to be a threat without any setup. In addition, it also has bulk as well as a nicer typing (before anybody says "but pursuit" look me in the metaphorical eye and tell me that simisear is taking switching pursuits first)

well my point is that only two fire time special sweepers with nasty plot are simisear and houndoom. houndoom has a worse speed for sweeping, as well as even worse defensive typing. simisear has enough coverage to hit a lot of UU hard after a nasty plot.

lol breh stop confusing simisear and simipour, its making me think harder than i should.

obviously simisear isnt a top threat, but if simipour is allowed an analysis, with identifical stat spreads and equally good offensive typing, i dont see why one should get an analysis and not the other. simipour actually has a 4ms syndrome anyway (nasty plot, ice beam, hydro pump, focus blast, grass knot). if it wants to hit empoleon it needs focus blast, if it wants to hit grass types it needs ice beam, and if wants to even touch other bulky waters it needs grass knot.

I would reject simisear. It's so outclassed by Victini, I'm convinced of this. Vicitini's V-Create is stronger than Rayquaza's Outrage; Victini is completely superior as a wallbreaker. While Victini can't really pull off a sweep, frankly Simisear's speed/bulk are far too weak to pull off one either.

Nasty Plot/Swords Dance users have to have significant speed/bulk, some form of survivability to be successful. In OU you have to be something like Garchomp, Manaphy or Excadrill in terms of speed/bulk; or else have a good priority move like Scizor. In UU, Mismag pulls it off with fantastic speed on top of awesome resistances and significant special bulk. Simisear has none of that to work with.

Frankly, Simisear falls flat there, on top of being outclassed in offensive power by the likes of Victini and Arcanine.

ook if we are rejecting simisear. then i vote we reject simipour too.it has the exact same issues as simisear does.

ok not the exact, being that its the only water type with nasty plot, but it has the same sweeping issues as simisear, and if np sweeping is the only thing simipour is doing, then it shouldnt get an analysis

I'm frankly not a big fan of simipour either, if one of the other QC members want to reject it I'd be okay with that. I personally won't go out of my way to reject it because it does have advantages over simisear.

It's not got anything that directly outclasses it, and frankly Water / Grass / Ice is much better than Fire / Grass / Focus Fail Accuracy

Braviary is just too slow imo. Base 80 Speed is just not ideal anymore.

Superpower is very nice though.

If you could provide logs to show that Braviary is worth it, I'll let it get an analysis, but for now I see no reason to use it over Swellow.
I have one for you, and some supplementary anecdotes to go with.

Braviary runs up against Rhyperior a little bit, but U-turn comes in handy. Later on, he kills Azelf, finishes off Rhyperior, and remains capable of taking a Mach Punch and finishing off Hitmontop and Roserade. Swellow would be dead by the time all of that was done.

I have other logs where he plays less of a role but still does some impressive, not Swellow-esque things. For instance, tanking a lot of Grass attacks, surviving Roserade's Sludge Bomb, and LO Celebi Psychic plenty of room to spare, and surviving a Heracross Stone Edge by a slim margin to seal a win. It also can finish Rhyperior at around 60%, which isn't bad.

Overall the fact that it can outspeed almost any non-scarfer, has bulk to survive attacks, good coverage, and good (but not Staraptorian) power with BB makes it worth using at least for a scarf set.

I'd like to give an argument for ursaring - while it's true that any priority can spell disaster for our little teddy bear, mach punch is seen much less frequently in UU. After one +2 and TO, ursaring's facade will one shot anything that doesn't resist it. That kind of monstrous power thrown on good speed after quick feet brings enough merit to mention him as a powerhouse wall breaker. TO damage is only slightly worse than LO or flare blitz damage as well. He is simply too strong and too fast with too wide a movepool for NU.

hitmontop is among the top 5 in usage.

he has to poison himself for this speed, and with is bulk how will he get +2. any scarfer can easily revenge him, while things like cobalion just outspeed ursaring AFTER the toxic orb boost. he is just too slow, and with no resists or immunities it wont have time to set up.

TO damage is only slightly worse than LO or flare blitz damage as well. He is simply too strong and too fast with too wide a movepool for NU
while he might be too good for NU, he is not good enough for UU (ive tried for a little, not that good with hitmontop and scarf heracross on every team)

Aye how did I miss that... well regardless; hitmontop mach punching is as predictable as azumarill aquajetting on excadrill. Either way, I see your point. I'll make an effort to bring up some reasonable logs and if I find too much difficulty in this endeavor then I will accept defeat on the matter.

Ya Prem I was gonna make an argument but I ran into the same problems : \

However I would like to make an argument for Glaceon. Seeing as Hail is everywhere in UU this round 100% accurate STAB Blizzard coming off of base 130 SpA would be devastating. After all Glaceon made it's name in 4th Gen for the strongest Blizzard. While I can't reserve this as Magmortar and Druddigon are still in the Quality Control stage I still believe it deserves an analysis.
and who knows maybe if I got a couple more stamps :3....

I'm going to try to defend Shuckle again. With Hippopotas being UU, Shuckle can't have a better chance to boost its already massive Special Defence. Power Split, it's an amazing new move that the little guy gets. With Shuckle's abysmal Attack and Special Attack, it about halves the foe's stats and keeps the other half to itself and with proper entry hazard support (which Hippopotas provides), the opponent either switches out or starts attacking with half damage.

If it comes in at the right time, it can cause a lot of chaos. It's HP is bad and can only use Rest to heal itself? Well, Wish's new mechanics fix that and thanks to Alomomola's gargantuan HP, it can fully heal Shuckle with a single Wish. Shuckle does end up causing a lot of switches and with the large gallery of ghost types in UU, it can safely rely on them to block and finish off Rapid Spinners.

To boot, Shuckle is even capable of offence due to Defence Curl and STAB Rollout. Defence Curl boosts its Defence even higher and with a Power Split or more, Rollout can dish out quite a bit of damage. Adding to the switches causes by Power Split, you have teammates with Pursuit to finish them off.

Shuckle supports its team exceptionally well causing multiple switches. On its own with proper timing, it can wreck a load of havoc.
