<And, now, let this bloodbath begin!!>

The Visser stepped back onto the platform and it rose, carrying him to the balcony from which he could watch from safety. He gestured with his right hand to technicians to activate the functions that would serve as entertainment for the the Counsil.

Two cages fell down around both Wolfe and Galladiator, locking them into place. Shields flickered on, tinted a light green for the Counsil to see it. The cages were lifted upwards using anti-grav lifts. As the shielded cages lifted, wide holes opened up below each Trainer.

<Wolfe and Galladiator, do you hear that noise? Look below you and you will see your fate, should you lose!!>

Both trainers try to look underneath them, but the strange metal that forms the bottom of the cage prevents them from seeing it. The Visser gestures again, and the cage bottom falls away. Wolfe and Galladiator both scream as the bottom falls away, but, defying all laws of physics, they stay floating the the air. After the trainers catch their breath, one realizing that he had peed himself, they notice that they are standing on the very same type of Force Field that surrounds the entire cage. Both trainers look down again and see a horrific sight looking back up at them.

<Yes, you feel the fear now? Don't even hope that you will die on impact. Our best scientests have calculated that, at worst, you will break both ankles. As you very well know, a Taxxon will eat anything, living, dead, or nonliving. You will feel their serrated, razor-sharp teeth as they come down on you and eat you alive. You will feel the pain up until the moment that you die. There is no hope for becoming unconsious before they are upon you.>

Both trainers gulped, looked down, looked back at the Visser, then at each other before standing up. They reached for their Pokeballs and realized that they had been removed!! They started to panic before a control panel beeped near them. Upon closer inspection, they found that they could press buttons and allow their pokemon to be brought to the arena.

Wolfe typed on the Panel rapidly and brought up the Kecleon that he discovered on the Planet Korhal. Out on the arena, another hole opened and a lift was heard. Rising from the pit came another shielded cage, this one about half the size of the ones that the trainers were in. The cage appeared empty at first, but one of the technicians pressed a button and the cage lit up as 200 Gigawatts of electricity was let loose inside the cage. A great screeching sound was heard as a horrific creature suddenly appeared inside the cage!!

Galladiator, none too worried, began typing into his control panel and brought up data of the creature he found deep inside the jungles of the Moon Nargon. A second hole opened up and a lift began bringing up a second cage. Inside was a docile-looking creature. Of course, it was seemingly docile. I is a vicious predator on it's home moon.

<Now, Great and Powerful Council, I am proud to let you watch as these two traitors battle with three creatures of their choices in your honor!! I hope that the blood spilled this day will be to your pleasure!>

As the Visser finished speaking, the shields surrounding the creatures' cages flickered off and the cages opened. The starved and angry beasts moved quickly out of them and moved cautiously towards the center of the arena as the cages they were just in lowered into the ground again. The creatures moved slowly in a circle, as if studying the strange beast before them. Neither species had ever met before, so these apex predators were cautious. Was this Predator? Prey? Was it a threat?

The Primeape, utilizing a process of releasing a fast evaporating liquid from it's fur caused the clouds to disappear completely, making the Day Sunny!! This tactic was an intimidation technique used by the Primeape species. The liquid, while having the side effect of removing clouds very fast, let off a scent that was used for fighting other males for mates. This seemed to offend the Kecleon for it uses the highly-sensitive nose to hunt prey. This made it run up to the Primeape and whack it with it's coiled tail. Upon contact, Waves of electricity flowed through the Primeape's body like some kind of Thunder. The Kecleon species have special glands at the tips of their tails that store electricity. In battles against rival males, the whip their tails at each other and attempt to stun the foe into submission.

After this short engagement, the Kecleon, seeing that it was slightly smaller than the Primeape, moved back from it and into a defensive posture. The Primeape, after shrugging off the numbness, charged angrily at the Kecleon and proceded to slam it with it's large arms. The force of which could be similar to being hit by multiple Bricks. There was an audible snapping sound as it appeared that one of Kecleon's ribs went past the Breaking point and snapped!! The Kecleon's body cells are unlike many other species in the Galaxy. They absorb damage and convert pain into a shockwave of sorts that hits a target, dealing massive damage. A Counter-attack, if you will. The Primeape was sent flying backwards about 10 feet.

Stunned and very obviously in extreme pain, the Primeape forgone all manner of defensive Combat and ran up Close to the crouching reptilian beast. It punched, kicked, and bit the lizard. One could hear the crunch of flesh being crushed and the snapping of scales being ripped away by the force of the impacts. Just like before, the Kecleon utilized it's Counter-active cells and sent the Primeape even further backwards, about 18 feet!!

Both creatures, in intense pain, but knowing that there was another predator in it's vision, slowly got up and moved in a slow circle again, looking for another opening on which to strike......

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Visser Three stood above the battle and watched with intense boredom. Thusfar there had been not one fatal blow. These creatures were obviously tough, but neither of them had gone for the killing blow. Perhaps he expected too much of these creatures? It was of no matter in the end. Both of the fools in the cages would die a slow and painful death. Perhaps they should be fed to their own beasts? It would depend on what the Counsil decided at the end. It they are entertained, both may live........or neither........

Meanwhile, upon the battlefield.......

The Kecleon, moving with the liquid grace of an Earth jungle cat, roared a cry of warning, saliva spitting outwards. The gnashing fangs of the reptilian creature clicking together as the serrated teeth slid neatly into sockets within the jaws. This predator was injured in the last battle, and it was not about to lose to this soft-skinned creature.

The Primeape, though it's muscles were numbed by the painful shocks of the Kecleon's last assaualt, moved through sheer force of will. It didn't climb to the top of the totom pole and become pack leader for nothing. It was the biggest and the strongest of the Primeape pack. It was the only member of it's pack to have ever killed a Tyranozaur, a large reptillian beast twice it's size and three times it's weight. This puny lizard shouldn't be a problem.

The slow circling continued on for another five minutes, neither breaking step. It would have easily have continued for hours, but the Primeape stumbled a little on it's semi-paralyzed and numb limbs. This allowed for an opening in it's guard, one that the Kecleon easily took advantage of!

The Kecleon, using a suprise reserve of adrenaline to leap at the Primeape with blinding speed. Normally, Kecleon use this reserve to get an extra boost in speed and agility when hunting faster prey. This allows the hunting Kecleon to reach speed of almost 50 mph!! At these speeds, very few can stand it it's way.

The Kecleon leaped fowards towards the staggered Primeape, claws unsheathed, and slashed upwards towards it's throat in an Aerial strike that would leave even fencing Aces applauding.! At the last second, the Primeape tried to dodge and, although it avoided the killing blow, the Kecleon's razor sharp claws dug deep under the flesh of the Primeape, leaving a heavily bleeding wound about a foot in length and a couple of inches deep into it's left arm. The Primeape, suddering in the first stages of shock, instinctivly used a similar Counter-active cell system to strike the Keceon. Unlike the Kecleon, the Primeape's Counter-Active cell system causes extremely large amounts of adrenaline to pump through every blood vessel throughout it's body, effectly boosting the creature's pure physical strength five-fold!! The Primeape pulled it's single working arm back and slammed the Kecleon through the air, sending it flying almost 30 feet!!

When the Kecleon landed, it quickly lowered itself in a slightly defensive pose. Upon seeing the Primeape just standing their, left arm limp and the creature itself wobbling slightly, eyes out of focus, the Kecleon quickly opened it's mouth towards the Simian beast. Normally, this would be a threatening gesture towards others of the same species, however, there is something more sinister happening. The Kecleon's armored eyelids quickly closed as it's saliva was mixed with some odd, thick, greenish liquid. If one looked closely at the mouth of a Kecleon, one would see that it's mouth and tongue even has armored scales. There is a very thick scale-like flap that lowered over the Kecleon's esophagus. What is the purpose of this odd behaviour? Well, the answer quickly became clear when the tip of the Kecleon's tongue began to make a clicking noise. This was the sound of multiple scales being rapidly clicked across each other. After a couple of seconds, the scales created a spark. That spark set the whole concoction of saliva and the strange, green liquid on fire. Normally, that amount of fire inside the mouth of a living being would be fatal, but the Kecleon have evolved the thick scales inside the mouth to prevent that from happening. So, what is the purpose of this? Well, if one remembers the scale-like flap, the purpose becomes clear almost instantaniously.

The scale-like flap opened with such speed and the air that was being held in the three lungs of the Kecleon was expelled so fast that the flaming liquid flew everywhere.......except at Primeape. With it's eyes closed, the Blast of Fire and napalm-like liquids missed the target completely!! Though it was a miss, it was a near miss. The temperature on the arena floor soared to almost 100 degrees fahrenheit!! The smell of singed fur from the Primeape permeates the air with it's acrid scent!! One would think that the Simian creature would like to Cool Down a little!!

While the Primeape continued to seemingly wobble around aimlessly, the Kecleon tried to go for another fatal Aerial strike. Will this one Ace the tests of battle? Will it be a fatal blow that will give it's master the first victory of the battle? The Kecleon flew through the air and sliced across the Primeape's chest, leaving wounds that show ribs!! It isn't a fatal blow, but the Primeape has been sorely weakened. Soon, it will lose too much blood and collaspe. However, it not down and out just yet. Using it's feet, it grabbed the Kecleon and prevented it from escaping. With excess amounts of adrenaline still coursing through it's veins, the Primeape raised both of it's arms and repeatedly slammed them down on the Kecleon's head. As they rose, they Crossed. As they fell, they made impact sounds similar to a knife hitting a Chopping block!!

The Primeape, it's adrenaline fading and blood loss from deep wounds increasing, fell backwards into an energy-saving crouch. The Kecleon, still reeling from the blows slowly raised itself up and moved as fast as it's unsteady legs could carrry it. Though the Kecleon had no outward appearing damage, it was also fatally wounded. The massive blows it took from the adrenaline-fueled Primeape caused massive internal bleeding. It would be a miracle if either pokemon survived the next 24 hours..........

<Those fools. This battle ended too quickly.>

Visser Three whiped his tail in furstration, beheading a passing human controller who was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

<Get some Taxxons to clean that mess up!>

Once the Visser had left his location and headed to his quarters, he was halted by a Hork-Bajir.

"Visser, sir! Security Head, Wzular-651, reporting! We have word that some unidentified creature has been spotted on the upper levels. A security force has been sent out consisiting of two Taxxon Trackers and three of my warriors. Shall I give the order to kill on sight?"

<No.....bring this creature to me. If it resists, kill it.>

"Yes, my Visser."

Meanwhile, in the arena.......

The Primeape and the Kecleon, now on oppisite sides of the arenas from which they first began, started to instinctively focus on survival. Both were mortally wounded, but both were very strong creatures. They snarled at each other as they both did defensive tactics.

The Primeape, despite fighting the numbing electrical charge, activated a primal instictive process. This process is a survival mechanism that allows a Primeape to survive even fatal wounds for a limited amount of time, effectivly allowing it to Endure more damage than the body could normally take. The muscles tightly contracted around vital organs in the body, thickening and hardenening. The rib cage closes all gaps though special muscle movement while spaces in the skull are filled with a liquid that hardens due to intense pressure forced on those spots, effectivly doubling it's thickness.

The Kecleon, realizing that the Primeape isn't a threat as of yet, coughs up extremely sharp, mineral-like substances all over the ground near where the Primeape came up. This is a last resort technique used by the Kecleon species and is designed to disorient opposing Kecleon. This is because the stones have a magnetic charge that interferes somewhat whith the brains of other Kecleon. Oddly, the rocks, due to their magnetic charge, began floating slightly due to the pulse generators directly beneath them.....

The Kecleon, not satisfied that the ground was covered with the pebble-like objects from deep within it's Gullet have covered a sufficient area, now turned on the Primeape with another Aerial pounce that would easily Ace any human long distance jumps on the books. The razor-sharp claws burrowed deeply into the body of the Primeape before meeting resistance made by Muscle and Bone. As strong as the Kecleon was, as sharp as those claws were, they couldn't even penetrate the wall of bone and muscle and reach the vital organs of the Simian beast.....

The Primeape, now in a state of light-headedness and fighting through the pain and blood loss, seemed to just partially lay there......as though it were a human "Chilling out" on a beach.....

The Kecleon, decided to utilize a high-speed technique that they use when spooking packs of prey into running. The Kecleon flicks it's tongue out like a whip, causing a booming sound similar to a sonic boom. If it's whip-like tongue hits a foe, it could deal a startling blow. We watch now as it flicked it's tongue out at the beast, the sharp tip striking the Primeape in the head. It would have been a skull-piercing wound, a fatal one, but the thickening allowed the Primeape to survive. However, the not-so-Fake strike to freak Out the Primeape, and make it be inactive. This loosened it's body just enough to open some areas where one simple strike can kill.....

On the other side of the wherever-we-are, a huge round silloutte is quickly seen by the guards. Some time later the Vissher's favorite snacks are gone.

Seems like we have another intruder on this ship. A big fat one.

But no one seemed to care, as they were a tad busy.

After losing his first pokemon and being closer to ultimate destruction, Galladiator sends out Y the Vileplume with Yache Berry. The vileplume then begins this match by summoning the hot sun with sunny day, and the heat inside my costume is making me doubt if this is worth the trouble. Unfortunately, this Vileplume has Effect Spore and not Chlorophyll, so sun won't do much. The opposing Kecleon just basks in the sun to recover some health.

On the second turn, Y attacks with Sludge Bomb hoping for a crucial poison that...didn't come. Kecleon responded by chilling to get some energy back and maybe annoy more than previously expected. Or so it seems.

Finally, Y attacks again with Sludge Bomb, with no poison, which means that Kecleon managed to survive and paralyse the Vileplume with Thunder Wave.
