Challenge The Scramble Challenge - Mark 2

Ultimathunder,

Take Fairyhater the Axew.

Catch him ASAP (ie: once you get Surf). He is from Kalos and as such is very, very afraid of Fairies. He especially is scared of Splasher, whose brethren it has met in Kalos, and they were Fairy-type. You try to tell it that Fairies do not exist, but to no avail. It must not use a Dragon-type move on anything that is Fairy-type in Gen 6. It must not be in your party if Splasher is in your party. In order to try to get it to overcome its fear, make it solo 10 Marills. After this, it realizes it can brute-force through Fairies, but that Fairies still exist. You shake your head quietly, but you let it evolve.

Once it evolves, it wants to overpower those Fairies to show them who's boss. Once in Giant Chasm, solo 10 Clefairy. Then, going through Victory Road, have it solo that doctor with the Clefable. At that point, it may evolve into Haxorus, and you finally are able to make it shed its belief of Fairies. Rename it Fairylover. It may now only use Dragon-type moves on anything that is Fairy-type in Gen 6. It must now always be in your party whenever Splasher is, and may not be whenever Splasher is not. Finally, solo one of the E4's highest leveled mons (ie: Chandelure, Bisharp, Mienshao, or Gothitelle).

Alright guys, it's been a real long time. I'm going to do a Scramble to help keep me busy until I get to do HTML for smog again; make it hard.

Pokemon Soulsilver Version
No trading
Hard (;

Rules:
-No nature requirements (I'm not resetting for natures)
-Mainly just follow the scramble challange rules
-Don't be dumb

Bring it on, guys.
Deinosaur, Imma give you an Unown. This Unown will be the very first Unown that you come across, so you must catch it, with no exceptions. You will name this Unown "Cody Jr."

When you come across a Pokemon whose name starts with the letter that is the same letter as Cody Jr.'s Unown type, Cody Jr. must fight it solo. Exceptions can be made if the opposing Pokemon is immune to Cody Jr.'s hidden power type. If you come across a trainer whose name (just the name, not the trainer class, if there is any confusion) starts with the same letter, Cody Jr. must solo that trainer.

If this is too hard, or (by some insane standards) too easy, just let me know. I have plenty more to add, mwa hahaha!!!

Good luck!

My dude Deinosaur I'm going to give you Gunga Din the Slowpoke. Gunga Din must have moves that add up to less than 200 base power and must solo the Ghost gym. Also Gunga Din can't be healed at a pokemon center until at least half of its current moveset has been exhausted to 0 PP at least once.

Take a Delibird named GiftCard
It may only know Present at the start
GiftCard earns 1 GiftPoint per Pokemon it solos
No Pokemon on your team may learn a TM or HM unless Delibird has enough GiftPoints to buy it, every TM or HM costs the amount of the BP it has in GiftPoints
Also, every item you use on Delibird costs 5 GiftPoints

Hulavuta wanted me to do this so meh I guess so

platinum, no trading available, medium difficulty

Rules:
- No level restrictions
- If you force moves upon me, only force two (I.e. you can force x pokemon to use move a and move b, but the other two are up to me)
- No item restrictions that force berries upon me. I don't have the time to grow them. otherwise go ahead on items
- Only ONE of my mons can have a gender/nature restriction. to clarify, I can have one mon restricted to one gender and another to x nature, or one mon to a certain nature and gender. I will not accept nature/gender restrictions if it is a rare pokemon.
- if a tm is one-off, obviously I won't have two mons have that move if they both learn through tm-only
- I will not breed anything.
- restrictions that require me, for example, to evolve a bidoof only when I have beaten Candace will be rejected.
- this will be 6 scramblemons.
- anything from a honey tree will be rejected
- I will only have two mons of the same type at most. (i.e: I use piplup + buizel, so shellos cannot be added)
Kavatika, take ♥ILoveLife♥ the Chimchar.

♥ILoveLife♥'s battling strength is directly connected to how much health he has remaining. When ♥ILoveLife♥ is in battle, he can only use moves whose base power is equal or less than the amount of hit points he has remaining, not factoring in STAB. To put this in perspective, at Level 50, Infernape has 151 HP minimum, which is a little higher than his strongest moves, Flare Blitz and Close Combat.

Any items that directly heal ♥ILoveLife♥, or indirectly heal it (such as removing a burn or poison) cannot be used on it, unless you are both A: In a battle and B: It is the active Pokemon. Additionally, if you do choose to use an item on it, the move it has with the highest power will be disabled for the rest of the battle. Pokemon centers can be used normally, and moves like Wish or Heal Bell/Aromatherapy can be used with no additional consequences.

However, ♥ILoveLife♥ is very defensive of his friends. If he is the only Pokemon in the party that is not fainted, he will be motivated to save everyone, allowing him to fight without any restrictions. Additionally, Scratch may be used at any time regardless of your current HP.

If this is too hard or too easy, just tell me and I'll change it up a bit.

Good luck!

EDIT: Added the Scratch clause to avoid issues where you can't use any moves at all

Reserving mon for Deino

Take Cerebellum the Aipom, it has very poor balance as it can't make its tail lie flat on the ground properly as a result it cannot use any moves that involve its hands such as Scratch, Fury Swipes, Tickle, Shadow Claw, Double Hit etc. It loses balance when hit with a contact move or sound move so if it gets hit with a sound move it must Baton Pass out. Once you beat the Cianwood Gym it learns from Chuck a great way to keep balance, to focus. Teach it Focus Punch as soon as you get the TM. Evolve once you solo any gym leaders mon using Focus Punch atleast once. After it evolves it can use hand moves but must keep the moves Focus Punch, Baton Pass, and a special move. Solo 2 of Bruno's and Karen's mons using Focus Punch successfully in atleast one of the battles.

GLHF Deino ^.^
Ask me if you have any questions or want me to modify the challange

Ultimathunder, Deinosaur, Kavatika, I suppose I will do something for you three soon...

EDIT: Ultimathunder: You get Zero Skill the Purrloin.

Zero Skill loves making people ragequit with its randomness, even though it does not have Prankster. Zero Skill must know & keep Assist & Fake Out, & it must use Fake Out each time it comes out (ignored if it does not have Fake Out at that point). After using it, the only move it may use until it runs out of PP is Assist. It must solo 15 Trainers to evolve. Pokémon Breeders do not count.

Have fun.

EDIT: Deinosaur: You get Mayhem the Sentret.

Mayhem just wants to cause Mayhem... with your scramble. It must contain at least three Normal-type moves in its movepool at any given time. It must solo 20 Trainers to evolve. None of them can be trainers you have faced before. After evolution, it must know & keep Amnesia as soon as you get it (Yes it takes your non-Normal move slot). Once you get it, it must use Amnesia at least once in every battle you use it in.

Have fun.

EDIT: Kavatika: You get Taxing the Gible.

This Gible is so powerful... Yet so taxing... To the point that you have to bribe it to do anything. Each time it attacks, you must discard (not sell) item(s) equal to the number of Badges you have at the end of the battle. (i.e. 5 attacks, 2 badges, discard 10 at the end of the battle) Mail does not count as an item to discard. It may never be the lowest levelled Pokémon on your team. It may never leave the party.

Have fun.

Ultimathunder

ok so I was like really tired so I thought of giving you a challange based around the move Rest. Didn't know exactly what to do, but then this just happened:

(11:49:12 PM) Stellar: [22:48:19] <@Hulavuta> I'm thinking of giving Ultimathunder a challange based around Rest
(11:49:12 PM) Stellar: [22:48:26] <@Hulavuta> what should I do
(11:49:18 PM) Stellar: togepi named red bull
(11:49:24 PM) Stellar: always tired but doesnt have time to sleep
(11:49:32 PM) Stellar: so must use rest but immediately use awakening without waking up naturally
(11:49:41 PM) Stellar: after it has done it twenty times it may evolve into togetic
(11:49:44 PM) Stellar: because red bull gives you wings

Unfortunately, we realized that you don't get Togepi until like really late in the game after doing a whole bunch of stuff, so we decided to change it to another Pokemon who gets wings when evolving, Trapinch.

So, on behalf of both Stellar and myself, take Red Bull the Trapinch. Red Bull is always tired but doesn't have time to sleep. Red Bull can use Rest when he is at half or less health. However, because he has no time to sleep, you must immediately give him an Awakening the turn after he has used Rest. After doing this 15 times, you are allowed to evolve him into Vibrava!

However...after becoming a Vibrava, the 15 Awakenings catch up to him and he starts to experience major crashes. Red Bull can use Rest again after being at half or less health, however, he needs to catch up on his sleep, so he must wait out the turns and wake up naturally (remember that in Generation 5 games, the sleep timer resets when you switch, so he must stay in for all of the turns to wake up). After he has done this 15 times and caught up on all of his sleep, he can finally evolve into Flygon!

Good luck! Have fun!

Kavatika,

Take Fabulous the Machop.

Catch the first female Machop you find ASAP. This will be your mon.

Machop has a bit of a gender issue--it can't tell which gender it is. It thinks it's male, and it looks male, but it's body is that of a female. As such, it is quite confused. As a result of this confusion, it refuses to obey you when you send it out. When you battle with it, it may only use non-damaging moves for the first five turns of the battle, and if it gets Taunted it will become more insecure than it already is and will switch out right away. After the first five turns, it must use Low Kick on any male Pokemon (aim for the groin!) and Karate Chop on females (before it gets those moves it cannot fight mons of those genders). It will also refuse to fight any Genderless Pokemon. It wants to look really tough, and as such must solo Maylene to evolve into Machoke. It never evolves into Machamp because it's too cool for that.

If it is hit by the move Taunt, it is shocked by the Taunt and as such has its brain addled for quite a while. It will refuse to do anything but sit at the back of your party without holding any items or accepting any healing, for the next five trainers.

If it is hit by the move Torment, it is shocked by the Torment and becomes suicidal. Fight wild Pokemon without healing until you faint. After that, deposit her in your PC until you finish the next gym. If this happens after Volkner, then deposit her until you reach the Pokemon League, and then take her out again.

When she fights Cynthia her old rage is rekindled. Solo two of her mons.

Ok, so I want to try another scramble on Black 2 now, hardcore, or whatever was the toughest you can give me without being impossible, and I can trade.

Also, I am going to give out some challenges, just need a sec to see who needs one. I will edit this post with them in a bit.
Actually come to think of it I won't be able to give some well thought out ones until tomorrow, so I'll hold off til then.

Oooooh! This sounds like fun! I just can't make it as evil as that HG/SS Shuckle that forces you to solo all of Kanto without using non-damaging moves.

Be prepared to use a Shuckle though!

EDIT: Take Sweeper the Shuckle.

Get him by trading him in after Cheren, at a level no higher than 10. Shuckle is very determined to leave as much of a mark on enemies as it can, and it dreams of sweeping entire teams. Well, it's a nice dream, and this early in the game he sees that he can already wall everything, but doesn't want to be a wall. As such, he cannot use Bide, Bind, Wrap, Toxic, Swagger, Stealth Rock, Substitute, Withdraw, Mud-Slap, Knock Off, Helping Hand, Rest, Safeguard, Protect, or Double Team. Ever. It also refuses to use any X-Items, since those are just steroids.

Now he wants to sweep teams. But he notices that his offenses don't quite match up to those of early-game Pokemon, not even the almighty Thick Fat Azurill. It feels really jealous of said Azurill as a result, and develops a hatred of their evolutionary line. Solo every Azurill family mon you meet. Also solo every Sunkern family mon you meet, since Shuckle can't even measure up to Sunkern in terms of offenses.

One day in Castelia City, he sees a billboard advertising Smogon. He comes here, and sees that he's supposed to be a wall. However, he refuses to believe it, and as such runs the "Defense Curl+Rollout" set recommended by some Shuckle users. It must learn Defense Curl and Rollout ASAP, and must always lead with Defense Curl and follow up with Rollout. With Rollout, he finally sees that he can finally do damage, and wants to test himself on things that resist his Rollout. Solo 10 Trainer-owned Ground-types with Rollout. Then solo 5 trainer-owned Steel-types with Rollout. At this point he reaches the peak of his power. And when something goes up, it must come back down...

As everything evolves around him, Shuckle is just staying as he is. He becomes furious at everything for power creeping him slowly and slowly. His Rollout just doesn't hit like it used to. When you reach the Pokemon League, he wants to prove himself. As such, have him as your only Pokemon in your party, save, and enter the League.

Try to solo as many of the Elite Four as you can. You may use as many healing items as you wish, but you may not use X-Items still. If you can solo the entire League plus Iris on your first try, I want to know how you did it, and congrats, your challange is completely done. Regardless of any further restrictions on any other mons.

If you can't, take note of the number of trainers in the E4+Iris you could not solo. Let that number be N. Reset the save file and do the E4 the normal way, but with Shuckle boxed. Once you get to Black Tower, solo the first 2N floors with Shuckle. IE: If you beat three of the Elite Four, solo the first four floors of Black Tower, and so on.

Sorry I have a rugby match and then a musical (jack-of-all-trades imho) so I can't write something up like I was planning to, so I'll just get some basics down:
Lesbo Porn! the Spoink.
  • Wants to be a Sleuth about this so he must lead every battle with Odour Sleuth.
  • Psybeam is too powerful in this weak state so only use Psywave and Odour Sleuth.
  • Confused at what he sees he uses Confuse Ray after Odour Sleuth on turns 1+2 of a battle... then Odour Sleuth again.
  • The rest of his level-up movepool sucks so you still have Psywave.
  • Actually I want to see if you can use Magic Coat well in-game lol.
  • Evolve into Grumpig
  • May now use Thief because he is stealing the magazines to investigate them
  • He decides that these magazines are toxic and digs away to hide from them, so can use these.
Those were the movepool restrictions, now for other restrictions:
  • Wants to take this journey alone, may not be switched out until dead.
  • Wants to solo Flannery
I'll edit later on phone

Well then Solner, you asked for it.

You get KN1-GH7 the Magnemite. You may not get it before you defeat Roxie. KN1-GH7 is a robot that is programmed to be a combat warrior & has two precise functions. Firstly it has a shield, which it uses to ram into foes (Any Physical Move that makes contact). It must know & keep this, & you can only use this move on higher-levelled foes, & no other move, because those bigger Pokémon must be knocked away with brute force. The other function it has comes in the form of a pistol (Any Special Move that does not make contact). It must know & keep this, & you can only use this move on lower-levelled foes, & no other move, because those smaller Pokémon must be swatted away as soon as possible. It may only have one Physical Move (The Shield), & it may only have one Special Move (The Pistol), & the other two moves must be status moves & may never be used. You may not evolve KN1-GH7 initially.

Those are the basic functions of KN1-GH7. Now the fun starts.

After you beat the PWT, & get ready to head for Chargestone Cave, KN1-GH7 starts to take control of your scramble. It must lead the party, & it must attempt to solo everything it sees during your trip through the cave on the first try. You may not face the Doctor, nor may you use any items on it, nor may you use Repels, or save the game at this point. You must also delete its other moves at this point. The catch? KN1-GH7 may not go past Lv36. If it does, it will malfunction before exploding, killing you & just like in video games, forcing you to respawn at your last save point, i.e. turning off & rebooting. Your success or failure to complete this task results in a split in paths:
  • If you succeed in getting to the other end without dying, then good for you, nothing further happens.
  • If you fail, then you notice its pistol has been crushed in the defeat, & it loses its ability to use Special moves, & may only use physical moves against any Pokémon.
Either way, it can evolve into Magneton at this point (but not into Magnezone), but now KN1-GH7 is preparing for the Mistralton Gym, where it may enter at a level no higher than 35. At this point, it must solo the entire gym on the first try without any items & without saving. Your success or failure to complete this task results in a split in paths:
  • If you succeed, then KN1-GH7 can now evolve into Magnezone.
  • If you fail, but you succeeded the last task: KN1-GH7 will have had its Shield crushed, meaning it can now only use its pistol from here on in, & may only use special moves against any Pokémon. It may never evolve into Magnezone.
  • If you fail, & you failed the last task: Well not only is its Shield crushed, but it is now completely weaponless, leaving it only with the ability to ram. At this point, you must re-teach it Tackle, & it must forget all other moves. It may never evolve into Magnezone.
After you leave Reversal Mountain & hit Undella Town, KN1-GH7's program suddenly forces it to go rambo again (Delete all moves it cannot use, & any new move it gets will be deleted unless it is replacing a Pistol/Shield move, where the former move must be deleted). At this point, it must solo everything you face (that does not conflict with anything) without any healing from Items/Pokémon Centres/Doctors/Nurses/etc. until it faints. Once it faints, it suddenly goes into a state of disrepair, & you have to loan it to a repairer for some time. Box KN1-GH7, & you may not take it out until...

... After a while, you will have beaten the Plasma brigade outside of the Seashore Cave. The repairer has at this point fixed KN1-GH7, & you must put it back into your party, but things have gotten worse. From here on in until you defeat Ghetsis, you must solo all non-wild Pokémon/Pokémon Breeders (which you may not face), including Ghetsis himself, Colress, Black Kyurem, & the Shadow Triad. You only get two opportunities to heal your PP. The first is the Doctor in the Frigate at Giant Chasm, & the second is from N. Healing Items (HP & Status) are fair game, but you are limited to 20 Healing Items, & none of them may be Revive or Max Revive. As usual, delete all moves it cannot use, & any new move it gets will be deleted unless it is replacing a Pistol/Shield move, where the former move must be deleted. If you really suck & you are stuck with Tackle, then delete any new move it gets.

Speaking of which, if you are stuck with Tackle, then you are royally screwed, having to put up with no attacking for 35 turns then dying to Struggle damage. In the inane event that it happens, then it will blow up just before you fight Black Kyurem, killing itself permanently, & knocking out every single item (discard them) you have that can discard before you fight it. You must box it & you must fight Black Kyurem & Ghetsis item-less.

Well finally, after the Ghetsis solo, if it did not blow up, then KN1-GH7 will partially fall into disrepair after such a battle that it loses its will to fight. It may not use an attack unless all other Pokémon on your team have fainted.

Have fun. There are probably a lot of holes & design flaws in the challenge, but yeah. Be careful what you wish for... Yeah I think I was being too sadistic there... No I cannot be bothered writing a short version either... -.-'

Asking politely for 3 more mons for White TReehollow Scramble...I seem to have been overlooked :<

Ok so apparently I am a massive dick to myself, so I am starting two more scramble challanges, in Yellow and HeartGold. I cannot trade in either, I want a extremely hard challenge, so go fucking nuts.

- Just follow the normal rules
- Nothing stupid
- no other rules

EDIT: Only three mons for each game, forgot about this one.

Kavatika I reserve a Pikachu for Yellow and a Meowth for Heartgold

Take a Pikachu named Comet
This Pikachu once lived on a Comet high up in the sky, but the day you found him, he fell of the Comet and bumped his head, because of this he thinks he is the comet.
As comets only appear rarely, he has to use Double Team every time he enters the battle, if he's hit by any damaging move, he must switch out, as he has been seen, this counts at any moment during a battle, if he doesn't have Double Team yet, you skip the double team part, but still have to switch out every time you get hit.
Against any Pokemon that has a higher base Speed he can only use Quick Attack, even if he just enters the battle, he may only use Quick Attack as Comets are faster than anything and will always be the fastest, he may not battle
He may not switch out if it isn't required because of the first rule.
He must solo any Pokemon that is classified as a Pokemon from space, if you don't manage to, no excuses, you must SoftReset.

Take a Meowth Mankey named MoneyMaker
MoneyMinty only cares about money, so the only move it can use is Pay Day Covet, however if your money is higher than 10.000 you unlock any second move, higher than 50.000 a third move and if higher than 100.000 you can use all four moves

Edit: For Platinum take Cyberspace the Porygon, Cyberspace must have Conversion or Conversion2 and may only use STAB moves (STAB move is also a move of the type you got from Conversions)
It must solo Candice with only it's original STAB moves, to prove it's the best type and Ice Type, to fit in with the flavor of the gym, still you may only use STAB moves even if you disable it in the rest of teh game
Note: If it is too hard, you may change the only use STAB moves restriction, but it must keep Conversion or Conversion2

Excellent.

I'll give you a challange for both.

Yellow Challange:

Take Infernal the Charmander. This specific Charmander believes he was born from the depths of hell, and that his fire can melt anything. Therefore, he must-by the end of the game-know only fire moves, with Infernal having to learn a fire move whenever he gets the opportunity. Infernal believes that because he is from hell, his flames cannot be put out, so solo any trainer owned water types, as well as Misty's gym. To evolve into Charmeleon, solo 10 trainer owned water types, which can include Misty's gym. Infernal also wants to be as evil as possible, so solo any Lasses as long as it does not conflict with another challange. Because of this desire to be evil, Infernal may never fight Team Rocket, including Giovanni. Infernal, being a demon, also wants to destroy the world and all its life, so solo Erika, as well as two other gym leaders, because they serve as defenders of the world. Note that Giovanni is exempt because he is the leader of Team Rocket. Finally, have Infernal solo your rival at every opportunity, because Infernal wants to show your rival who really is stronger.

Heartgold Challenge:

Take Support the Chikorita. This Chikorita wants to fulfill the role of a typical support character in most RPGs, so it needs to know a healing move, a move that causes indirect damage, and a move that buffs the party (i.e. Reflect, Light Screen) ASAP. Note that Leech Seed can be used as your indirect damage or healing move, but not both. However, support wants to show that she is strong in her own right, so solo Bugsy and Pryce, as well as any other Gym Leaders whose type is Super-Effective on Grass. Also solo Gym Leaders whose type resists Grass. If Support and an Ally are in a double battle and the ally faints, Support feels bad, so she may not be used for a half hour of real time. Finally, being the support, Chikorita must lead off before any other team member's solos to use her party-buffing move. Solo Koga as well, just for the hell of it.

Let me know if you want me to change the challanges at all.

Seems like noone saw my request for a scramble :)

Pokemon Black 2
No trading

Rules:
-No excessive grinding
-Normal rules
I'll give you Torture the Sandile
Torture has 4 moves, like almost every Pokemon, but what fills the slots is limited
- One Special move
- One Physical move
- One Status move
- Any STAB move (including Status)
Some moves can be applied for 2 categories, in this case you choose one, for example Mud Slap can be both the Special and the STAB move.
Whenever you get access to a new move (level-up or TM HM basically), it must replace one move in your moveset and all categories have to be filled at all times
GL HF

Virokhx Take Torturer the Purrloin. Torturer loves to torture things in as many ways as possible. But when it can't, its inability to do so torments it to no end. As such, it may never use a move more than once per battle. Furthermore, it must know one special move, one physical move, one self-targeting status move, and one foe-targeting status move. Whenever you get a new TM that Torturer can learn or when Torturer learns a new move, it must replace the move in that category.

The first exception is Torment, which it may never forget.

It then needs to learn Snarl, to rant about how it can't Taunt its foes. Once it learns Taunt, it must forget Snarl, as it no longer needs to rant.

It also must know Thief, to steal from foes and cause them misery. Once it learns Thief, it must not forget it until it can learn Covet, at which point Thief shall be forgotten, over how much it covets its foes' items.

Lastly, it must learn Assurance. That way, it can assure its foes that they will not be harmed.

Those four moves can be used however frequently you want and, unless otherwise mentioned, may not be forgotten.

Once it knows Torment, Taunt, Covet, and Assurance, it must now evolve into a Liepard. As a Liepard, it must cycle through those moves (Taunt, then Torment, then Covet, then Assurance, and then back to Taunt in that order to repeat the cycle). It must also try to solo an E4 member of your choice.

If it fails, then it gets depressed and may no longer be used, and must be released.

If it succeeds, then it realises that it was causing all sorts of misery, and that it is a bad idea to do that. Now, it decides to solo the rest of the E4 and Champion. However many pokemon it solos (in total, from all members) determines how many of those moves may be replaced.
