Tournament Predictions Pool

What's a tournament without some betting? As we all know, Texas will be hosting two tourneys, and you know have the opportunity to make CC by predicting each win correctly! Here's how it works:

You post here saying you would like to sign up. There is a buy-in of 2 CC.

You then PM me the following (I will not be playing since it involves PMs):
1) Who you think will win each of the R1 matchups.
2) Who you think will win Meloetta and Mewtwo.
3) Who the runner-up for each pokemon will be.

For every matchup you get right, you get 1 point.
If you get the winner of either tourney right, you get 12 points.
If you get the runner-up right, you get 8 points.
If your winner is the runner-up, you get 8 points.
If your runner-up is the winner, you get 4 points.

At the beginning of every new round, you will PM me your predictions for each of the matchups. The amount of points earn from predicting correctly doubles each round.

Whoever has the most points at the end of the tourney will win 1/2 of the pot (ceiling), with the second place winner getting 2/6 (floor) and the third place 1/6 (floor). In the case of a tie, the person with the most correct matchups will win. If that is tied, BoR R1 will be removed, then BoB R1, the BoR R2, and so on.

The other thing that will happen here is betting. You may bet any other user any amount of CC or Pokemon, even with odds, about the outcome of a battle, the winner of the tourney, even something like the Pokemon sent in--pretty much whatever you want. However, you are NOT allowed to bet UC, and you are NOT allowed to bet on a match you are in any way involved in or subref a match you have bet on. You may bet against the house, but with a limit of 10 CC per match, and at odds. PM me for those odds.

You must sign up and PM by whenever I first check Feburary 1.

Just a note that y'all shouldn't just subtract the CC from your profile, instead you should either post in claims that you lose it OR at the end of the whole pool, I will post showing all CC/UC lost or gained and you can post that one post in claims.

Frosty and Birkal still need to clear up things in their PMs, you have 2 days to do so.
Anyway, when the round ends I will post with the rewards from betting as well as the current standings. VM/PM me or tell me on IRC if its fine for me to tell people who you predicted/bet on (only for this round, not your finalists, those will remain secret until the end of the tourney), if you do not do so I will assume you would like to keep it confidential until the end of the round. (when everyone's will have to become public so I can show how many points you earned.)

Also I'm considering doing something special with each round, such as asking people number of DQs or to reduce the chance of any KOs. Therefore, unless people don't like that idea, please send me your predicted number of DQs in Round 2 of BoR. This will be worth 4 points if you get it right and two for each number away you are.
