Second LC Smogcast

What do you guys think is very broken in the tier (apart from Meditite)?
What Pokemon improved after Swirlix and Gligar were banned?
What are some underrated threats in the metagame currently?

Question:

Gligar ban could increase the sun team use (after Tangela's ban decrease)?
The same Gligar ban could cause a massive stealth rock use?
Is berry juice's use the real reason for Swirlix banning?

perhaps a bit "meta" for a smogcast but

Do you think a system in which ladderers nominate suspects naturally bans offensive threats more than defensive threats? Is this OK?

What is stopping us as a community from devolving into Gen V's banlist, be that a Pokemon, a playstyle, a philosophy, or a person?

HI RAYJAY
This is Little Cup, where defensive mons can be good, but will never ever be suspect worthy. The meta naturally favors balanced/offensive playstyle, and no defensive mons truly shine brightly.

except Gligar haha fuk u scorp faget rip in pieces

Agreed. Stall teams in LC are rare at best, so hyper offensive teams are a lot more viable in LC than any other meta. Everyone can name three dedicated walls in each tier from last gen, but you'd be hard-pressed to find that many in LC. I say dedicated because while Munchlax has great SpD, it still runs 3 or 4 attacking moves, unlike Blissey in OU who rarely attacks.

Hype corner: Zigzagoon. If anyone doubts the power to wreck teams (and I'm being serious here), he or she has either not tried Zigzagoon or not given it the minimal team support it needs to sweep (really just break Sturdies and Pursuit / Knock Off Ghosts).

In case anyone missed it, here is the cast: http://www.twitch.tv/smogonu/b/511414018

If anyone has any comments on what we can do better next time, feel free to post.

Personally, I feel we would've benefited from more of a set structure/plan which probably would've cut out some unnecessary sections and probably reduced the time spent on it by quite a bit. I think 90 minutes is quite long and maybe 60 minutes would be a better time frame to aim for, and this would've been achieved if we set out timings for each topic of conversation. i.e. 20 minutes general meta discussion, 10 minutes berry juice discussion, 15 minutes 'what is broken' discussion, 15 minute hype corner, 5 minute answering unanswered questions, or something of the sort.

tagging prem, so he sees this suggestion for next time. I know it won't be for a while but w/e.
