Haha, yeah, that's what it's seemed like. All the guides I've found on the internet are hilariously out of date or just downright confusing. And this is just getting the damn program installed on my computer, much less actually using it. I won't be switching to PC, but thanks for the advice.

Does RNG reporter need an internet connection to function? If not you can just stay disconnected while you RNG.
Honestly I've been dual booting for years with Mac OSX and Windows 7 without any trouble though.
Well, I guess the other issue is I'd need to actually buy the Windows 7 software, which is not something I can really justify right now :/ Oh well, guess no RNG for me. Thanks for your help!

It isn't, you will need to get it from a previous gen -- I have a few (4 - 5 IV's from memory with stealth rock and brave bird).

You could use PPRNG, it's not as good as RNG Reporter, but it's still pretty good.

No stealth rock is def an egg move on skarm..pretty sure the only parent it gets it from is a skarm who was tutored it in gen 5 though
