2x air slash is 15 bp stronger than boomburst and weaker factoring accuracy

it's not like fighting-types enjoy switching on taillow anyway

needs hp fighting

Tentacool @ Eviolite
Ability: Liquid Ooze
Level: 5
EVs: 196 HP / 36 SAtk / 36 SDef / 196 Spd
Timid Nature
- Acid Spray
- Scald
- Giga Drain
- Rapid Spin

Acid Spray Tentacool is an idea I got from Goddess Briyella. This is my version of the set, which uses max speed; Briyella's set had more invesment in bulk. Basically, I use it as a good Fairy switch-in and a Chinchou lure. At -2 SpDef, Tentacool can easily take Chinchou on. Berry Juice Chinchou will be outsped and KOd by Acid Spray on the switch-in, then Giga Drain. 76/228 Chinchou will be 2HKOd by Giga Drain, Tentacool can tank a Volt Switch and then Chinchou is weakened enough to be taken out next time easily, since it finds it difficult to Rest with low health. Obviously, ResTalk/Scald/Heal Bell is just beaten easily. Max Speed is to outspeed Modest full-speed Chinchou. This set works great on teams that rely on a lot of status, like Paralysis-spamming teams, since Tentacool can beat the most common cleric, Spritzee, and can also take out Chinchou.

back with new moveset. everyone else needs to get more creative imo

Ponyta @ Eviolite
Ability: Flame Body
Level: 5
EVs: 236 Def / 76 SAtk / 196 Spd
Timid Nature
- Fire Blast
- Solar Beam
- Sunny Day
- Morning Sun

Basically, I was using ponyta on my team, but chinchou is so common right now and completely hard walls it to hell and back and just kept forcing me out and wearing me down, so i decided to change my set to a sunnybeam special attacking set, which always beats chou. I was playing around with EVs for ages and these are specialised for a few things. Obviously 19 speed is important cos I like to tie with krow and missy. 76 SpAtk EVs were needed to 2hko 76/228 Chinchou with Solarbeam, and a 50% chance to KO 0/0 Berry Juice Chinchou. Without those 76 EVs neither of these things would be possible. 236 Def EVs are need to avoid the 2hko from pawniard, then you can just morning sun and it cannot kill you with sucker punch. Don't think of moving some Def EVs to HP because then Pawniard can 2hko you with knock off.

76 SpA Ponyta Solar Beam vs. 76 HP / 228 SpD Eviolite Chinchou: 12-16 (48 - 64%) -- 96.5% chance to 2HKO

76 SpA Ponyta Solar Beam vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Chinchou: 22-26 (91.6 - 108.3%) -- 50% chance to OHKO
(22, 22, 22, 22, 22, 22, 22, 22, 24, 24, 24, 24, 24, 24, 24, 26)

232+ SpA Chinchou Hydro Pump vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Eviolite Ponyta in Sun: 8-12 (38 - 57.1%) -- 0.4% chance to 2HKO
(8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 12)

0 SpA Chinchou Scald vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Eviolite Ponyta in Sun: 6-8 (28.5 - 38%) -- 1.1% chance to 3HKO
(6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 8)

236+ Atk Pawniard Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 0 HP / 236 Def Eviolite Ponyta: 9-12 (42.8 - 57.1%) -- 12.1% chance to 2HKO
(9, 9, 9, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 12)

236+ Atk Pawniard Knock Off vs. 0 HP / 236 Def Ponyta: 9-12 (42.8 - 57.1%) -- 12.1% chance to 2HKO

Hey! I've used this set before. The purpose of the set is to regain HP through Rest and Sleep Talk so you really want to maximize your bulk rather than attack. The extra Sdef EVs are pretty important, letting you not give a fuck when things like Foongus and defensive Chinchou. It also keeps you from getting 2HKO'd by Misdreavus' Dazzling Gleam.

Meditite @ Eviolite
Ability: Pure Power
Level: 5
EVs: 116 Atk / 156 SDef / 36 Spd / 196 HP
Jolly Nature
- Drain Punch
- Psycho Cut
- Bullet Punch
- Bulk Up

In place of Psycho Cut, you can run Zen Headbutt, ThunderPunch, or Fire Punch. Ordered from first to last in terms of usefulness.
This set was pretty popular on Pokemon Online last generation when Meditite wasn't banned. IMO Bullet Punch and a coverage move are much stronger than Recover. Meditite doesn't have the bulk to sit there and spam a recovery move, but it does have the power to one shot things with +1 Drain Punch, so there's no need for Recover really.
Zen Headbutt will 2HKO Spritzee at +1. ThunderPunch beats Slowpoke, and Fire Punch poops on Honedge. 14 Speed is used to guarantee outspeeding BulkyFoo and most Vullaby. Meditite will also speed tie with Modest Magnemite, Bulky Archen, some Trubbish, etc. Moving 76 HP EVs to Speed is a good option.

Just sharing the love:

Pokemon Name: Woobat
Moveset Name: SimpleBat
Move 1: Calm Mind
Move 2: Heat Wave
Move 3: Air Slash
Move 4: Stored Power
Item: Berry Juice
Ability: Simple
Nature(s): Timid
EVs: 92 Def/236 SpA/180 Spe

I'm pretty sure this has been done several times before, but i haven't seen it here yet. It is pretty Simple, you set up Calm Minds and wreck anything that doesn't outspeed (Woobat reaches 17 Spe). Stored Power reaches 100 BP after one Calm Mind, Air Slash is for STAB and Heat Wave is for the likes of Ferroseed. Berry Juice gives you some extra time.

Kabuto @ Eviolite
Ability: Weak Armor
Level: 5
EVs: 36 HP / 36 Atk / 196 Def / 236 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Knock Off
- Rock Slide
- Waterfall

Very interesting set I've used, that mainly exists to deal with variants of Dwebble and sometimes other Smashers. Dwebble obviously can't set up due to Knock Off+Rapid Spin, and attacking will increase Kabutos speed, which will reach 24 after Weak Armor. Tirtouga may see Kabuto as set-up bait, however Knock Off+Waterfall will KO, and Kabuto can take a hit from any set lacking earthquake.
Not really the most amazing set, but it has done me well from use. It baits a lot of switch ins who don't expect that Kabuto can do much to them, and rapid spin means it will always have utility on your team. Also pretty decent at dealing with Krow (like many Rock types) unless they run HP Grass, then bye bye Kabuto...

Woobat @ Berry Juice
Ability: Simple
Level: 5
EVs: 236 HP / 156 Atk / 16 Def / 16 SDef / 24 Spd
Serious / Adamant Nature
- Roost
- Acrobatics
- Knock Off
- Hidden Power [Fighting] / Amnesia / Subtitute

Curse Torchic + this = gg C:

@ +1/+1/+1 it has 26 attack, 22 def, and 28 speed, flying / dark is only resisted by pawniard (bulky eviolite doesn't get ohko'd but

76 Atk Pawniard Knock Off vs. +2 236 HP / 12 Def Woobat: 12-14 (48 - 56%) -- 12.1% chance to 2HKO

so you can roost and mindgame it to death)

substitute good for status + spunch, amnesia for instant +4 SpD

Simple and Baton Pass do not interact that way. Woobat would only receive +1/+1/+1 from Torchic, not +2/+2/+2 as you're implying. Simple only works on stat boosts that the user accumulates itself, rather than just doubling the effect of current stat boosts.

Trap & Kill Gothita

Gothita @Choice Scarf
EVs: 236 sp. atk / 236 spe / 36 def
Nature: Timid
Ability: Shadow Tag
-Psyshock
-Shadow Ball
-Energy Ball/Thunder Bolt
-HP fighting/Thunder Bolt

Gothita reaching 15 speed with a choice scarf can outspeed the entire unboosted metagame, while also having decent special attack and a superb move set. With access to moves like Psyshock,Shadow Ball,Energy Ball,Thunderbolt, and Signal Beam. The whole goal of this set is for Gothita to come in on faster foes that it can easily kill, trap them, and knock them out. However this set does have its downfalls. Any pokemon with Sucker Punch is sure to 1HKO Gothita and other choice scarfers can easily take her out.
This is gothita's mainly used set, although it is an underused/underrated mon, as shown by it being lower than beldum in january's usag stats iirc

Enter the most forgettable pokemon ever so much so that nobody noticed it can learn defog... defog is not even listed on its learnable moves tab in its BW analysis... poor Finneon

Finneon @ Berry Juice / Eviolite
Ability: Storm Drain
Level: 5
EVs: 152 Def / 28 SDef / 44 HP / 44 SAtk / 228 Spd
Calm Nature
- Defog
- Scald
- Ice Beam
- U-turn

Finneon is one of only 3 LC pokemon who learns defog and is not flying type (of these three Finneon almost completely outclasses Piplup with its superior stats and ability the only exception is that Piplup has access to SR and Seedot is pretty terrible at everything TBH.). Finneon sets itself apart from other defoggers because of its ability to deal with most rock type stealth rock setters in the tier unlike Vullaby, Archen or Murkrow. Finneon can also learn Scald for bullshit burn hax fishing scaring out strong physical attackers. Storm Drain is a nice bonus and combined with Eviolite makes Finneon a shaky but useful check to SS Tirtouga as it can come in for free on a water type move.

+2 212+ Atk Tirtouga Stone Edge vs. 44 HP / 152 Def Eviolite Finneon: 18-22 (81.8 - 100%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO
+1 44 SpA Finneon Scald vs. -1 0 HP / 116 SpD Tirtouga: 19-24 (90.4 - 114.2%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO

The EV spread is a work in progress because its hard to make a definitive spread for a defensive pokemon who also wants to be fast and has mixed attacks... something has to give so I had to unfortunately take an attack hit so U-Turn doesn't really hit for much at all if anybody can come up with a better spread be my guest. Unfortunately I'm currently taking a hiatus from the LC metagame so I haven't done that much playtesting with this set.

Gastly @ Focus Sash
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 196 SpA / 196 Spe
Timid Nature
- Counter
- Destiny Bond
- Shadow Ball
- Dazzling Gleam

This thing is a really fun anti-lead. Counter annihilates Knock Off users like Mienfoo, Timburr and Pawniard, and Destiny Bond from 18 Speed can allow it to take out a second Pokemon. Shadow Ball and Dazzling Gleam hit pretty hard.

Taillow @ Choice Band
Ability: Guts

Shiny: Yes
EVs: 36 HP / 156 Atk / 36 Def / 36 SDef / 236 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- U-turn

I've seen a lot of boomburst Taillows recently and I've just never really liked that set. The physical Taillow set hits harder due to Taillow's higher base attack and gets a much better flying STAB. I prefer using a Banded Taillow because it allows you to absorb sleep, poison, and burn statuses, you don't need to waste a move slot on protect and you don't get the residual damage that comes from your flame or toxic orb. The only drawback to this set compared to the special one is that you get walled very hard by steel types because you can't run HP Fighting or Heat Wave and expect it to do any damage. I actually used this set on my minitour team and was very pleased with how it turned out but it probably performed better than it normally would have because of no magnemites and pawniards being around.

Edit: Forgot to mention that you aren't simply absorbing burn, poison, and sleep statuses, but you're hitting harder with them because of Guts.

With Scrappy, i feel like you don't really need Crunch. Poison Jab is better, to hit the fairy types. you'll get walled by poison types but... name a good poison type this meta

and@ above: crunch is not a STAB, pancham is pure fighting
Bulbasaur, Grimer isn't bad, tentacool and skrelp.

Bulbasaur, Grimer isn't bad, tentacool and skrelp.
In my opinion Trubbish and Croagunk are the best poison types and I'm surprised you didn't mention them but I'm more surprised you're responding to something from over 5 months ago as the meta has changed since then and poison types weren't really used that much back then, especially due to the presence of Gligar.

Speaking of Bulbasaurs, here is my creative moveset:

Bulk-T-saur
Bulbasaur @ Eviolite or Berry Juice
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 112 Def/ 236 SpA/ 160 Spe
Modest Nature
- Solarbeam
- Sunny Day
- Sludge Bomb
- Synthesis / Growth

A fresh new contender with the addition of fairy types. Bulbasaur is different from any other Chlorophyll sweeper. Deerling, Bulbasaur's biggest competitor has 2 more weaknesses than Bulbasaur. Deerling also does not get Posion typing as well as decent Fairy protection like Sludge Bomb. Bellsprout, Bulbasaur's main competitor, is weaker than Bulbasaur, and can not take many hits. This lets Bulbasaur in the spot light for Fairy weakness on your team, as well as a Chlorophyll sweeper.

Lets talk some stats. Bulbasaur has 112 Def EVs to make it bulkier (hence Bulk), while the 160 speed gives it 26 speed with chlorophyll, which can outspeed a shellsmashed Tirtourga and pretty much all of the non-scarfed LC. 236 SpA and a Modest nature gives Bulbasaur a nice 17 Special Attack making Solar Beam hit hard. With Eviolite or Berry Juice, Bulbasaur should be able to last a while.

The move set is a little weird, due to that we want Bulbasaur to stay in longer, so Synthesis was added due to the ability to gain health, and the added benefit of using Synthesis in the sun. Sludge Bomb is used for stab against Fairies and is a good move for Bulbasaur in general. Everything else on Bulbasaur is a must for him to be an effective Chlorophyll sweeper. I also recommend if you do not prefer being bulky, you can setup with a Drought Vulpix, then switch into your Bulbasaur get off a growth, then Solarbeam sweep. Hope this helps you guys wanting to use Bulbasaur, because now is the time to use it :)

Shelmet is quite the ladies mon. And he battles like he fucks: slow and sensual. After getting Shelmet in (IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN) you start off with a lifetime's worth of venereal diseases Infestation. But Shelmet always brings protection. Gotta use that Overcoat. Recover can be used to refresh yourself so you can get back to it. To deal with the Special types, he has Struggle Bug. Then Shelmet can use one of his three saucy options.

Also look at that face he is blowin' kisses

Also Yawn/Recover/Infestation/Struggle Bug with max physical bulk is probably the meanest thing I've ever heard of lol

I think Shell Armor Shelmet would be better because crits really ruin walls.
Also run it with acid armor for extra bulk to make the opponent really hate you LOL
