After Metang and Eelektrik are defeated, a hidden corridor opens in the back. You travel through and enter a new area. The cove appears to have a covered section undetectable by air, but you can still see sunlight coming in from the sides. This whole area is still, and it looks serene.

"Impressive work." The voice tells you, though more menacingly. "Let's see how you fare against the element of surprise."

Without warning, an Abra grasps your Pyroak and both of them vanish. The serene atmosphere returns to that of the damp cave you had just been in. As you work out the illusion, you can't help but wonder what befell your other Pokemon. You estimate it will take two rounds to find it.

I'd appreciate the 20 HP from Synthesis. Also the second Psychic did 1.5 too much damage, you mis calced the ranks. Doesn't affect the round but may affect this round.

Due to the entire "sound based moves ignore Protect" thing applying to Endure this gen for whatever reason, Pyroak ends up healing himself before fainting as he nails his opponent with a Flamethrower and faints. He goes down leaving Abra slightly lower in HP and higher in stat boosts. But at least he goes down healthy. Eelektrik, Gardevoir, and Cyclohm rush the field to avenge their fallen comrade. brb murdering the subref

also when you update can you redo the format entirely to show all the information and make it possible to follow please (i know you were piggybacking the previous one)

reminding myself that cyclohm has expert belt, eelektrik has muscle band, and gardevoir has leftovers

Cyclohm: Thunderbolt ~ Signal Beam
Eelektrik: Knock Off ~ COMBO (Crunch+Headbutt)
Gardevoir: Chill ~ Heal Pulse (Eelektrik)

if the combo isnt accepted for whatever reason (makes perfect sense to me) then crunch+crunch

You pwn Abra and heal a little due to some nice HAX and sub abuse. However, with only three Pokemon alive at this point the run is bound to be somewhat harder than you might have been expecting. While your team is relatively healthy, that could change in the next fight.

After finding your lost Pokemon, you travel torwards an exit. You happen to notice three Pokeballs laying around, they look a bit scuffed as the edges, as though something tried to juggle them and missed a couple of times. You grab them.

x3

The exit leads out to an area that looks precisely like the one in the illusion. You can only wonder if this one is real as well.

Thunder and Storm

You finally reach an outdoor area, though its shelved underneath the rocks and essentially inaccessible to the outside world. In any case, you know your trials are not over, as two pokemon stand to face you, each guarding a path around a lake inset in the ground. You won't be able to cross without facing one or the other, and both of them glare at you, a trespasser in their territory.

Do you

b) challenge Electrike

Using Revive on Pyroak

Challenging Electrike

goooo cyclohm

Electrike blasts your Cyclohm with a Flame Burst, dealing small damage to its allies and blowing them back. The flames seem to roar up again erecting a wall, and it will take two rounds for your Pokemon to regroup. Electrike rises above the ground with Magnet Rise. This could be difficult.
