Random Shit volume 94: Quick Feet Jolteon Edition
-Scizor with both Quick Attack and Bullet Punch.
-Said Scizor setting up SD on Quagsire.
-The Quagsire player asking his opponent why his Azumarill wasn't using Belly Drum.
-And then Azumarill did actually use it.
-Thunder Wave+Gyro Ball Ferrothorn. When will people figure out that it's a bad idea?
-Chansey using Thunder Wave on Rotom-H.
-Conkeldurr using Ice Punch on Shedinja.
-Some guy put Hustle on his FEAR Rattata. It made Endeavor miss.
-Galvantula using Sticky Web when the only opposing Pokemon were Salamence (which is immune) and Drapion (which really didn't affect it much in this case).
-Body Slam Torterra. Also, Torterra in OU.

-Registeel is a bit odd in OU these days. Flash Cannon+Focus Blast+Sandstorm+Explosion Registeel is a bit odd in any tier.

Scizor would actually carry Quick Attack last Gen to hit Waters and Volcarona (Technician is a great ability). Don't know if its usable this Gen though.

So I was spectating an ubers match, and wow are there some unique strats there.

Turn 1
Deoxys-Defense used Thunder Wave!
The opposing Deoxys-Attack is paralyzed! It may be unable to move!

The opposing Deoxys-Attack used Mega Kick!
Deoxys-Defense lost 34.9% of its health!
The opposing Deoxys-Attack is hurt by Deoxys-Defense's Rocky Helmet!

Here's the weird thing:
Deoxys-D max speed: 306
Deoxys-A min speed without a speed hindering nature: 336

So either they were running relaxed Deoxys-A, or lagging tail Deoxys-A is a new thing in ubers.

Okay, so Ludicolo uses DDance(!) I send in Gengar on the same turn who has 1 HP left (Sash). Ludi then uses metronome. Move chosen? PAIN SPLIT.. It made my day:D

So just for shits and giggles, I decided to run a mono Metronome team on my alt. Found these:
-Hidden Power+Drill Run Excadrill (HP was SE on Jirachi)
-Power-up Punch+Cross Chop Guts Machamp
-Ferrothorn whose only attack was Knock Off
-Red Card on Delphox, of all things Magician. Never mind.
-Hawlucha using HJK on Togekiss and Clefable
-Said Hawlucha running Power Herb+Sky Attack, but not Acrobatics. Or Unburden, by the looks of things. It was Mold Breaker.
-Double-Edge Sylveon

I used Sash TTar in a Gen IV tournament I was in. For some reason in the previous rounds my Tyranitar was ALWAYS taken down before it could set up rocks and we weren't allowed to switch (I had a Skarmory with Spikes that Whilwinded stuff for me). So I sashed him to make sure I'd get Rocks up. And then for the rest of the tournament it never was taken down to Sash range... So is life.
