Stupid question, if I breed with a ditto who passes the ball on?

The ball passes down only if the other parent is female.
If you're breeding the female with a ditto, then the offspirng will have the female's ball. If breeding a male or genderless pokemon with ditto, it will just be in a normal pokeball.

Oh I don't know about that, I been asked some pretty stupid stuff in my time. Also your dittos are tempting, but I've already agreed to trade with dozer and I've got the stats I need on my female and enough spare time. Thanks anyway.

Is there any point to Defense EVs on a Relaxed Mega-Aggron? 275 Def at Level 50 is stupidly huge so I figure I can run 252 HP/Sp. Def.

They are naive nature. A bit of a breeding mishap resulted in the cycle which gave me my two six IV's only providing them in pokeballs though. If you can PM me a list of things you can offer, that'd probably be easier than me shooting off random things.

No you need at least one to have it

No, not a chance. If you are breeding two Lucarios (because riolus cannot breed), the female needs to have the HA to pass it down. If you breed a male Lucario with the HA and a Ditto, the male could pass down the HA.
It enables you tell if the Pokemon is a Kalos Native. In other words, if the Blue Pentagon is on the Pokemon but it has no memories, the Pentagon was hacked on to it.
