Porygon @ Eviolite
Ability: Download
Level: 5
EVs: 236 HP / 236 SAtk / 36 Def

simple idea really, set up gravity and then hit hard. watch your opponent laugh as you use gravity then realize they have nothing for perfect accuracy 110 BP BoltBeam coverage coming off 19 spA, especially after a download boost. if you have balls you can use zap cannon over thunder for paralysis and stuff. also this set pairs well with sticky web (and hazards in general) and running speed investment is a good idea if on a web team

+1 236+ SpA Porygon Blizzard vs. 132 HP / 116 SpD Eviolite Croagunk: 12-15 (52.1 - 65.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+1 236+ SpA Porygon Thunder vs. 0 HP / 36 SpD Pawniard: 20-24 (95.2 - 114.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
+1 236+ SpA Porygon Thunder vs. 84 HP / 156+ SpD Eviolite Solid Rock Tirtouga: 16-19 (69.5 - 82.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
+1 236+ SpA Porygon Blizzard vs. 124 HP / 156 SpD Eviolite Foongus: 22-26 (88 - 104%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
+1 236+ SpA Porygon Blizzard vs. 0 HP / 36 SpD Eviolite Mienfoo: 12-15 (57.1 - 71.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
+1 236+ SpA Porygon Thunder vs. 36 HP / 0 SpD Eviolite Scraggy: 11-14 (50 - 63.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

basically its powerful, and both of these attacks are so strong that you don't really even need to predict, also gravity is manlier than TR imo

Porygon @ Eviolite
Ability: Trace
EVs: 236 SDef / 236 SAtk / 36 Def
Calm Nature
- Foul Play
- Tri Attack
- Recover
- Psyshock

A defensive set for Porygon. With Eviolite, plus a good 236 SDef 36 Def EV investment adding the Calm nature, it can absorb most special attack moves.
Trace has a good counter against some pokemon on LC tier. some examples:
Sturdy: Aron, Dwebble, Geodude, Magnemite, Onix, Tirtouga.
Swift Swim; Anorith, Buizel, Kabuto, Surskit, Tirtouga.
Chlorophyll: Bellsprout, Bulbasaur.
Adaptability: Corphish.
Prankster: Cottonee, Riolu, Purrloin.
Intimidate: Growlithe, Sandile, Scraggy, Snubbull.
Download: Porygon.
Refrigerate: Amaura.
Protean: Froakie.
Volt Absorb: Chinchou.
Water Absorb: Frillish.
Tinted Lens: Venonat.
Analytic: Elgyem, Porygon.
Poison Heal: Shroomish(toxic switch).
Regenerator: Foongus, Mienfoo, Slowpoke.
Flash Fire: Cyndaquil, Growlithe, Houndour, Litwick, Ponyta, Vulpix.

Foul Play is a good move for ghost types like Ghastly and Misdreavus or some pokemons with high attack stat.
Tri Attack's the most powerful STAB special attack move that doesn't have to recharge(lol Hyper Beam).
Recover's utility maximize specially on defensive sets.
and finally, Psyshock can defeat fighting pokes plus damages specially defensive pokes really hard.

Utilizing Porygon's defensive capability at its maximum is the main reason for you to use this set.
Also, it attacks both Physically and Specially bulky pokemons because of its moveset; Foul Play, and Psyshock for Physically frail pokes; and Tri Attack for Specially frail pokes.

After testing on showdown, it turns out that Bulbapedia is actually incorrect about the function of conversion as it selects any other move, like i had originally thought. But still a good idea nonetheless.

Porygon @ Life Orb
Ability: Download
Level: 5
EVs: 200 Spd / 240 SAtk / 40 Def
Modest Nature
- Agility
- Tri Attack
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
- Psychic / Shadow Ball

Basically, this Porygon sets up Agility on something it forces out (for example, Misdreavus) and then KOes everything. Psychic OHKOes foo even without download. If you setup on something specially weak, it's even better. HP fighting KOes Pawniard (you outspeed scarf), and evio, well...
236 Atk Pawniard Sucker Punch vs. 0 HP / 36 Def Porygon: 12-15 (52.1 - 65.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

196+ Atk Fletchling Acrobatics (110 BP) vs. 0 HP / 36 Def Porygon: 13-16 (56.5 - 69.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
it tanks priority pretty well.

Psychic if you're afraid of fighting types, Shadow Ball for ghosts.

+1 236+ SpA Life Orb Porygon Shadow Ball vs. 36 HP / 0 SpD Eviolite Misdreavus: 21-26 (91.3 - 113%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO
+1 236+ SpA Life Orb Porygon Psychic vs. 0 HP / 236 SpD Eviolite Timburr: 26-31 (108.3 - 129.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
236+ SpA Life Orb Porygon Psychic vs. 0 HP / 36 SpD Eviolite Mienfoo: 18-23 (85.7 - 109.5%) -- 75% chance to OHKO

It's p much an excellent setup sweeper, and it forces out a lot of things that think you're standard pory.

Now onto Tri Attack...

236+ SpA Life Orb Porygon Tri Attack vs. 156 HP / 52 SpD Fletchling: 21-25 (91.3 - 108.6%) -- 50% chance to OHKO
+1 236+ SpA Life Orb Porygon Tri Attack vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Eviolite Cottonee: 16-19 (69.5 - 82.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+1 236+ SpA Life Orb Porygon Tri Attack vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Eviolite Drilbur: 21-25 (95.4 - 113.6%) -- 50% chance to OHKO
+1 236+ SpA Life Orb Porygon Tri Attack vs. 0 HP / 60 SpD Eviolite Scraggy: 16-19 (76.1 - 90.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO (80% on average)
+1 236+ SpA Life Orb Porygon Tri Attack vs. 236 HP / 76+ SpD Eviolite Porygon: 13-17 (50 - 65.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO (lol)

all these "x chance to OHKO" become guaranteed with SR or Spikes.

It's pretty much never seen.
Dam you Rowan, I wanted to win, :(
Oh well. Onto the next one...

- Trick Room
- Tri Attack
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
- Shadow Ball/Psychic/Recover

Although TR (Trick Room) is a gimmicky, albeit almost-horrible, idea in LC, I figured that this is a decent start to any LC TR team. It has the bulk to take stuff that isn't OHKO'd while also not being revenge killed by anything bar priority. It also really helps in setting it up for possible teammates via Eviolite coupled with its natural bulk or used as an OTR type of poke. The EV Spread hits 25/14/14 for Evio numbers plus odd number for HP. The last slot is up to what the team is weak to/if in need of utility whether it be Missy, Fighting- types, or Recover.

Download is a great ability for the OTR type of set, making this a bulky attacker who can dish it out as well. Trace adds to the utility of setting TR for the team. This guy is so cool in terms of what he has. I cannot wait to see what you guys come up with, :)

---THE-MENACE-THAT-IS-SCARFED-PORYGON---

The goal of this set is simple: switch in on something that you scare off (I.E. Missy) and proceed to start attacking stuff with the move of your choice. Normal/Ghost/Psychic/Fighting has INSANE neutral coverage in LC, and with correct prediction, Porygon will be very likely to get a kill. Just look at this calc on Mienfoo.

240+ SpA Porygon Psychic vs. 0 HP / 196 SpD Eviolite Mienfoo: 12-16 (57.1 - 76.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Think you can safely switch in on that "Shadow Ball" now?
The moveset is rather simple: Tri Attack is your main STAB move, sporting a decent Base Power and a really nice 20% chance to inflict a nasty status condition on the opponent. Shadow Ball is to smash those Ghosts that are immune to Tri Attack. And Psychic is to decimate Fighting types that think they can come in and wreck Porygon. HP Fighting is an instant "GG" to Pawniard. EDIT: Psychic removed, Porygon + Staying in on fighting types = bad. Trick is there as a nice little "now FUCK you" to a lot of mons, since the mons that hate Choice Scarf the most are the runs that run Eviolite, which will help Porygon's defenses if you're done wrecking everything.

Download has the power to boost Porygon's Special Attack to REALLY high levels. The EV spread is to crank out maximum power out of Porygon, while still guaranteeing a speed tie with 19 speed mons. 68 Defense allows it to take Physical attacks (Which are hella common) better.

Porygon @ Choice Specs
Trait: Download
EVs: 36 Def / 236 SpA / 196 Spe
Modest Nature
- Trick
- Tri Attack
- Shadow Ball
- Ice Beam / Thunderbolt

Specs Porygon hits monstrously hard, reaching 42 Special Attack after Specs and a Download boost. Tri Attack is its main STAB, nailing anything that doesn't resist it, 2HKOing most of the tier who do not resist it, while Shadow Ball punishes Psychic and Ghost-types - OHKOing 36 HP / 0 SpD Misdreavus after a Download boost. Ice Beam and Thunderbolt are coverage options, both of which nail Fletchling. Trick is useful for depositing your Choice Specs on something that hates it, like Dwebble or Cottonee and receiving an Eviolite or Berry Juice in return, which can help its lower defenses. 236 Special Attack with a Modest Nature gives it maximum Special Attack, 196 Speed lets it outspeed some slower foes and 36 Def marginally helps its defenses.
Porygon @ Choice Specs
Trait: Analytic
EVs: 240 SAtk / 236 HP
Modest / Quiet Nature
- Psychic
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
- Ice Beam / Trick

Analytic Specs Porygon. Basically it hits switch-ins really fucking hard. Unfortunately, Tri Attack is illegal with Analytic but that doesn't matter since its coverage it gets from TMs is good anyway.

240+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Porygon Psychic vs. 76 HP / 236 SpD Eviolite Timburr: 24-30 (96 - 120%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO

240+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Porygon Hidden Power Fighting vs. 0 HP / 36 SpD Eviolite Scraggy: 16-20 (76.1 - 95.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

240+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Porygon Shadow Ball vs. 0 HP / 68 SpD Inkay: 17-21 (80.9 - 100%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO

240+ SpA Choice Specs Porygon Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 20 SpD Eviolite Hippopotas: 22-28 (84.6 - 107.6%) -- 50% chance to OHKO
240+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Porygon Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 20 SpD Eviolite Hippopotas: 30-36 (115.3 - 138.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO

240+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Porygon Ice Beam vs. 116 HP / 236 SpD Eviolite Vullaby: 20-24 (80 - 96%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

I put Inkay in there 'cos according to the usage stats its one of the best Porygon counters. Tbh, you can see Fighting-types switching into Porygon from a mile off, only to get OHKOd (though Scraggy needs a tiny bit of prior damage). Also 2HKOs Ferroseed on the switch without HP Fire, which is pretty cool. 2HKOs primary special walls in Lickitung and opposing Porygon. Ice Beam can go last to hit Vullaby who otherwise walls the fuck out of you. Quiet can be used to reverse speed creep on Porygon, making sure you always go last, but Modest is okay too, it's not too important. Trick can go over Ice Beam to fuck with shit if you like, but coverage is always nice when you have no STAB.

reasons to use over download+specs: reliable, sometimes download doens't get the right boost (it'll get attack boost switching into misdreavus for example)...
yeah that's about it...

download is probably better...

I saw Fowl using a full on gravity team a while ago utilizing this porygon, toxic spikes + sticky web, some other abusers, and a missy with hex. It seemed really well built despite being a huge gimmick and looked incredinly fun to play.

Gravity Pory seems cool and Porygon can actually hit quite hard if you use it with something like Dwebble then the added bonus of gravity is that stuff like Missy and birds get hurt by Spikes I understand none of those will be switching into pory but still Gravity lasts a few turns I like Apt-gets one too but I will have to go with Zeriloa

I like Apt-get and zerilloa set. But my vote is for Rowan. Nobody could imagine Analytic. And calcs are simple and very dangerous for opponent.
