HELLS YEAH, CYNDAQUIL IN A TIMER BALL IS SHINY! It took me 900 eggs in total, and it only has 4IVs, but that's more than enough!

Magus that's awesome man. I really want totodile but I took a break from him, left off at 200 eggs. Will continue after my shiny shrromish. Which ivs did he have? Have u check the missing ones for exact iv?

12 Attack, 11 Defense. But my Cyndaquil is a special attacker, so it's not a big deal.

Is it bad that I'm hatching Jolly Ralts because I'm hoping and praying for a Mega Gallade in ORAS? (All of my MM shinies have been Mega Pokés if that hasn't been apparent)

5. Fifth batch: ENG Ralts + JAP Ditto (Total: 820 Eggs; 1 Shinys).

6. Sixth batch: ENG Charmander + JAP Ditto (Total: 240 Eggs; 0 Shinys).

7. Seventh batch: ENG Starly + JAP Ditto (Total: 120 Eggs; 1 Shiny).
- Hatched a Jolly Keen Eye Starly (31/31/31/31/31/31) at Egg #2051.

8. Eighth batch: ENG Elekid + JAP Ditto (Total: 120 Eggs; 1 Shiny).
- Hatched a Jolly Static Shiny Elekid (19/31/31/x/31/31) at Egg #2002.

Updated post #1229. It's been a loooooong time since my last update, but I got too busy with college so I had to drop my shiny hunt xD... But now I'm on vacation :D, so I had the chance to continue. My latest result is a Timid Synchronize Ralts (x/31/31/31/31/31) at Egg #2897. So far my results are:

Total Eggs: 2910
Shiny Count: 7

Still no luck on shinies. :( Terrific luck on getting 6IV perfect pokemon (including a female dream ball HA adamant dratini with egg moves), which I'm saving for SV hatching, now that I know how that works. But no MM shinies.

It's just been soo long since I've hatched a shiny (the venusaur, before I started counting), and the hype is mostly gone now. :(

You're a lucky person. I hatched 900 Cyndaquils, and all the 6IV ones were male, not even a single girl =/

okaaaaay! sorry ive been away for a while, ive been busy with life and being unwell. it all seems good now though :3

onwards to a HA Froaky for someone :3

also may be taking a break from this to breed other scatterbugs on a friends game, whom doesnt have the shiny charm >_<

also, i know how to find out if a pokemon has perfect IVs but how do you find out the exact number? ive seen a few people here go 31/31/31 ect and a couple have the exact number for the one IV thats crap haha is there a system depending on what the dude says or do you put the pokemon through a program to get its exact stats?

Oh I am so lucky again, not only two shinies in one day but the last egg I hatched was the shiny :-)

Alright hatching session over. I have hatched a total of 1040 eggs with 3 shinies now to make my odds 1/346.67 (had to round up). Hope to get that noibat soon as it looks like a very fine shiny so I will be hatching 120 a day now starting tomorrow.

You're right, I guess, lucky in a way (just hatched a second female perfect dratini). Have both saved as eggs for SV hatching, when I can finally get them checked.

I just hope I get an MM shiny soon. :(

Two ways: some people use outside tools, like powersaves, to view the exact IVs of their pokemon, and some people like me use IV checkers, like this one from serebii, where you plug in the stats of your pokemon at certain levels (usually level 50--go to the Battle Institute and your level 1 pokemon is auto leveled to 50). The second one sometimes has to estimate (e.g. 7,8 if it could be one or the other), so that solution works best when you give the checker more information, like what the hidden power type is and whatnot.

You'll get one soon, just keep on hatching and it should work eventually! Maybe you'll hit a good seed the next time that you play.

Update from last night/today : 2300 eggs, 9 shinies. Probably have another update later tonight, at this rate. Working on Treecko right now, aiming for HP Rock.
