[SIC(K): Round 1 - Group 7] Texas Cloverleaf vs Mowtom

Welcome one and all to a first round battle of the Sharing is Caring (Kinda) battle. A tournament where true skills are tested, not counting the strength of your pokemon, and your ability to make a coherent team is tested just as well also teaching kindergarten values is a plus.

This battle takes place in Group 7, a group containing both Mowtom and Texas, as well as The Wanderer. While the group has seemingly been passed off as one with a predetermined outcome, I think we'll have to wait to see what happens in this SIC(K) preliminary stage!

Our first battler, and the seemingly fan favourite, is Texas Cloverleaf, ASB moderator, policy leader, and gym leader extraordinaire. His team seems to have a very nice blend of typings, and appears to focus on using the diversity of movepools to success. If there's a pokemon to look out for on Texas' team I'd have to say it's Sterling the Aurumoth because she's my baby and she's awesome Wilde the Gallade. With positive matchups against a good majority of Mowtom's mons, he will likely be doing something this match.​

Sterling has always been encouraging to the newer members of the team despite her elitest stature, meaning she is looked up to by many, even the other FE's of the team.

Honchkrow – Gajeel (M)

Having treasure-hunted a Dusk Stone, Gajeel spent some days learning how to learn the arts native to his species, guarded by Pantherlily in the progress. The transformation itself is painful, but having endured it, something seems... both more and less in him now. When Zheng found out about his sudden bursts of suppressed emotions, it can only be attributed to Gajeel's efforts. Seeing it as only the results of his evolution, Zheng did nothing else but allow him to discover this new path, mostly on his own. What Zheng didn't know though, was that the lads have secretly form an agreement - to take turns watch over Gajeel whenever he had one of his bursts.

Nimbus stores his energy for a while while being bombarded by Togekissu's Dazzling Gleams who seem to hit a sweet spot every time, likely due to her incredible luck and her added sight with that scope lens. The second round has both of our battlers exchanging blows, but first begins with Togekissu bracing to keep herself ready to fight! In attempt to counteract that attempt, Nimbus sets up a swirling sandstorm that seems to hurt Togekissu slightly. After that, Nimbus summons a Thunderbolt to break through the storm and strike the flyer. The bolt seemed to have done enough to KO the Togekiss, but her Enduring allowed her to survive! After that, not being a fan of the sand, Togekissu summons some bright sunlight which dispels the storm. The round ends with Nimbus sending another shock towards Togekissu who endures it and retaliates with a gleam of light which hits the Cyclohm critically yet again!​
