TIMELESS TOWER

Timeless Tower is an unfathomably large structure seated on an impregnable cliff-side. The tower's main spire looms over its entrance hundreds of feet into the air. Bridges extend from the main tower to three separate spires, each on an island pillar of immense density. The ocean roars violently below, beckoning you to stay away.

The bridge to the east leads to a tower frozen over in a massive pillar of ice. The sunlight glistens against its reflective surface, yet no melt can be shown. You look cold just staring at it.

The bridge to the west leads to a craggy pillar that seems to be etched from the very earth itself, impossibly dense and immovable.

A third tower can be seen behind the structure on your map, but it is eclipsed by the sheer enormity of the main spire. It is made of the sturdiest looking metal you have ever seen, an unnaturally purely refined solidity that shares the brilliant sheen of the icy tower and the sheer density of the crag.

As you go up to the entrance, the drawbridge on the main gate opens and falls with a loud crash onto the only access to the mainland. On either side of the bridge are statues of Golurk holding up massive spears. As you enter the main atrium, a massive statue of Golem rolled up into a ball takes the center of the arena. You look around the room and see exits your east and west going to the towers, stairs built into the floor going down presumably to the tower behind the main spire and a massive door with three slots in the gate. Depictions of the gate are on the left and right and show three stones being placed in the gate. Both mosaics are completely sand-colored except for the stones. One is an azure blue, one is a dull brown, and the other a shimmering silver. You attempt to push the gate, but it is so massively heavy you feel tired just pushing on it. It will not budge.

What could this all mean? And where do you go from here?

Player Options

a) Enter Ice Spire.
b) Enter Rock Crag.
c) Enter Iron Dungeon.
d) Enter Heaven's Ascent.
e) Leave Timeless Tower.

Let's estabilish some ground rules here, k? I will do my best to post once per day. 2 days tops on weekends (maybe not so on Guardians or boss battles because for that I will need my mulling time, so you add one day in those occasions). BUT in return I won't post the backpack until something on it changes or next page starts and I will keep pasting fluff to a minimum. So you will have to go up to check stuff. This is so I have less stuff to copy and paste. But I don't think you will mind, right? If you do let me know and I'll do entire reffings without commiting to that timeline.

Boring Hollow
wtf boring hollow really? what a boring name

You take a look at the Ice Spire and the Iron Dungeon and you get the feeling that you aren't welcome. Maybe it was the eerie wind. Perhaps it was the little eyes of pokemon filled with fear. Or just common sense considering the wrecking you did before.

Either way you decide to explore the Rock Crag. As you enter, you are greeted with sand in your eyes! How unconvenient...makes you want to destroy that bloody mountain with a Helping-Handed Explosion Combo. But you restrain yourself, remove the dirt with your hands and on the moment you lower them you see...

Yeah, a bonsly and a shieldon. They seem to be protecting the entrance of the Rock Crag seriously? what a lousy protection. Maybe they hope you will feel pity for them and go back? so naive.

Anyway, they are there and won't budge. Their determination is rock-solid warning: prepare yourself for terrible puns so you will have to deal with them the hard way...

Bonsly:
(M)
Nature: Brave (+1 Atk, Spe/1.15, -10 Eva)
Type: Rock
Rock: Rock STAB; Reduce damage from all special attacks by two (2) Base Attack Power during Sandstorm. Able to use Sand Tomb without losing focus.

Abilities:
Sturdy:
(Innate) This Pokemon’s body is solidly constructed, reducing damage from an opponents attacks by one (1) damage. The effect is amplified on OHKO Moves, which are reduced by ten (10) damage.
Rock Head: (Innate) This Pokemon’s hard body prevents it from taking recoil damage from moves such as Double-Edge, Flare Blitz, and Head Smash.
Rattled: (Innate) These Pokemon are more easily frightened by Ghost, Bug, and Dark-typed attacks and will raise their speed by one (1) stage when struck by attacks of those types. A boost gained this way by an opponent's attack will be maintained at the end of each round. Self-targeted attacks do not maintain boosts.

Abilities:
Sturdy:
(Innate) This Pokemon’s body is solidly constructed, reducing the Base Attack Power from an opponents incoming attacks by one (1). The effect is amplified on OHKO Moves, which are reduced by ten (10) Base Attack Power.

You don't beat around the nonexistant bushes and just go straight to attacking. After protecting Yadoking with a convenient Bodyblock, you simply dispatch the Shieldon as if it were nothing, while taking the hits from the two lackeys like a...well a rock. The only bad part is that Yadoking received some damage in the process, but I suppose it is nothing a good and old Slack Off can't solve.

Things are looking good thus far. For you. Not for the poor Crag though.

You decide that you don't need a Bonsly making you waste balls and simply get rid of it with a turn of attacking. Since when the good god was distributing Mercy to people, you were on a corner killing small pokemon -_-''.

At least Bonsly gave a nice good-bye present with a combo that knocked your slowking under the 50%hp zone. which isn't something you would want this early in the crag.

Sucker Punch should have half BAP right? So Slowking would have 6 more HP.

Also I should have noticed this at the beginning but didn't, but I did bring a Super Potion with me as well. It's not marked in the backpack though?

Regardless of all of that, using a Potion on Slowking.

You apply a potion and move on too...

Rumble Hall

You come across an area of the crag that is more unstable than the others. Earthquakes seem to randomly average this area, causing you to lose your footing. Aside from physical movement however, the area seems entirely unscathed. It is entirely possible this could be the work of a Pokémon rather than an actual feature of the area! In any case you can see down two paths: one where a few small rocks rumble visibly, while the other is calm. You surmise the quakes are coming from that area. What do you do?

Player Options
a) Enter towards the quakes and inspect what is going on.
b) Continue onward and ignore the quakes.
c) Stay and see if something happens.

You continue through the area until you can no longer feel the quakes. Discretion is the better part of valor, you suppose. Which is nice way to say booooooooooooo-riiiiiiiiiiiing.

VistaROCK SLIDE!

As you walk down the path, you see a landslide of boulders begin just in front of you! You can't tell whether the slide is natural for these barren wasteland's construction or not, but you do notice a single item sitting right in the path of the crashing boulders! Should you go for the item, grab it and run by? Or should you just play it safe and wait for the rocks to pass?

A) Run in, grab the item, and go!
B) Play it safe, wait it out

You wait out the rock slide because it's too much of a risk. As you watch the slide play out, you see the item, whatever if was, get crushed and smashed to bits by the boulders. Whatever was left of it was swept away in the tide of rocks. You shrug at the loss and continue on your way safely, knowing that your well being is more important than whatever it was.

You sense danger ahead, so you take a break to scheme evil plots to take over the world manage your team

Petrified Forest

The Petrified Forest is a desolate arena full of trees encased in magma long ago that have since solidified into solid rock. Although a light to the outside world still shines through, the place is so dusty and gloomy that the very sight of it depresses your spirit.

The air here is dry and parched, and the rock below looks porous, even though the entire arena is rock solid. As you look around, you notice several unfriendly wild Pokemon waiting for you.

To be more specific you see...

And lemme tell you. They don't seem friendly...

Arena Rules:
No Water Supply.

In Rain, Swift Swim is activated, but there are no boosts to Water attacks or Reductions to Fire Attacks.

Armaldo:

Nature: Quiet (+1 SpA; -15% Spe, -10 EVA)
Item: Quick Claw

(quiet armaldo wtf? quickclaw wtf?)

Type: Rock/Bug
Rock: Rock STAB; Reduce damage from all special attacks by two (2) Base Attack Power during Sandstorm. Able to use Sand Tomb without losing focus.
Bug: Bug STAB; More mobility in dense brush or forest conditions. Gains an extra guaranteed attack on multi-hit moves.

Abilities:
Levitate: (Innate) This Pokemon naturally floats above the earth when released or easily takes flight, evading Ground moves like Earthquake, Bulldoze, and Magnitude. Other Ground moves can still hit.
Technician: (Innate) This Pokemon is more skilled at performing weaker moves, causing any of their attacks that normally deal 6 or below base damage to have their base damage multiplied by 1.5. (e.g. Aerial Ace goes from 6 to 9, Mach Punch goes from 4 to 6, etc.) The Energy Cost for a one-hit or two-hit attack is increased by one (1). Each hit in a multi-hit move is boosted by one (1) damage, and the Energy Cost for multi-hit attacks is increased by two (2).
Mold Breaker (DW): (Innate) Whenever this Pokemon attacks, it emits an invisible, blindingly quick pulse preceding the attack that disables the opponents natural abilities (e.g. Levitators plummet towards the ground before Earthquake hits, Volt Absorb will not absorb electric attacks, Clear Body does not prevent stat-drops, etc.)

You viciously strike both Rock-mons, but they also fight back. Thanks to a handy flinch from Rock Slide, Yadoking was easy prey to the Guardians strikes and ended up fainting. But in return, you have pretty much defeated Bolderdash and Armaldo isn't looking so hot either. So you should be able to get away with this. or not.

You start the round pretty well with the mission to set up Armaldo for the capture. You manage to reduce Armaldo's evasion and to sleep it. Everywhing went well...

What...expected a "however" somewhere?

You are amazed at how awesome Armaldo is and decide to go for the capture. While you throw more than half of your Ultra Balls, you ponder if actually bringing armaldo home will be worth the 7CC you will have to spend to get rid of that atrocious Quiet Nature. Before you could decide, the ball clicked and Armaldo was yours! Still asleep though.

You grab the ball, as well as the items it knocked off and the oh-so-useful Quick Claw. And now let's resume the carnage. Youe evil being

Manage your Team.
