Welcome one and all to this Preliminary battle in the Sharing is Caring tourney! Today we feature Engineer Pikachu and tavok in a group 3 match! Both challengers brought strong teams, which of course is to be expected in a tourney of this nature, but who will be the victor? Also neither of you brought any of my mons smh

First up we have the illustrious Engineer Pikachu, Subway manager as well as poison gym leader! Engi has proved himself to be very strong in the past, so he will surely be a force to be reckoned with in this round and future ones in the tourney! Keep an eye out for Houdin the Alakazam in particular, as with only one negative matchup, he will surely be able to do something if chosen!​

Although he has yet to do overly much of note, he is facing Engineer in a Gym battle currently, which will surely give him some higher level experience for both this and (potentially) upcoming rounds! The first round of the battle begins with Engineer Pikachu sending out Nimbus the Cyclohm, whom I'm quickly learning is a popular choice in this tourney.Prior to this Tavok sent out Ibrandul the Sableye to see what he can do! Nimbus sends an array of Electric attacks towards Ibrandul, one of which Paralyzes him!
The Sableye goes on a less offensive approach, by Knocking Off Nimbus' Magnet, Splitting his Pain with the Cyclohm and then lifting him telepathically to avoid any future misses! It's still a close game, but the Paralysis may put a wrench in Tavok's plans! I guess we'll just have to find out!​

Pain Split's calc is off: Cyclohm starts with 110 HP, so it should have 94.5 after Knock Off, not 84.5 You forgot to deduct HP from Cyclohm. I'll probably order tomorrow.
