Stallbreaker Mew says hi.

Mew
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 224 Def / 32 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Infestation
- Substitute
- Calm Mind / Bulk Up / Swords Dance / Nasty Plot / Barrier / Amnesia / Rock Polish
- Baton Pass

Q: Where's the item?

A: 0 Atk Sableye Knock Off vs. 252 HP / 224+ Def Mew: 84-98 (20.7 - 24.2%) -- guaranteed 5HKO
0 Atk Sableye Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 224+ Def Mew: 122-146 (30.1 - 36.1%) -- 52.4% chance to 3HKO

252 HP means 101 HP subs means screw Blissey
32 Speed means you outspeed the mons that are speed creeping the mons that are speed creeping Honch (next next next level EV training)

Basic premise: Infestation to trap a stall mon, Substitute to hide from annoying taunts and status, and then boost up before passing out to the now-boosted Pokemon of your choice. Is EV'd to beat common stall mons.

Aromatisse (arguably a common switch-in to the expected SpD Mew) Moonblasts cease to break sub after a Calm Mind -- 4 SpA Aromatisse Moonblast vs. +1 252 HP / 0 SpD Mew: 67-81 (16.5 - 20%) -- possible 5HKO

So does Florges but who sees those anymore nowadays -- 4 SpA Florges Moonblast vs. +1 252 HP / 0 SpD Mew: 76-90 (18.8 - 22.2%) -- possible 5HKO

"Ah yes, I was wondering which would break first - your spirit or your body?"

im very sorry for my heretic ideas
take a deep breath lol.

also sub doesn't hide from taunts sadly.

Mew @ Life Orb
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 20 Atk / 236 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Psyshock
- Sucker Punch / Knock Off
- Dazzling Gleam / Fire Blast / Aura Sphere
- Work Up

I'm not gonna lie. I was staring at its movepool for a while and my mind somehow drifted off towards last week's Victim of the Week thread, in which the Victim was SD Mew, and that's where this idea came from. Mixed Mew with Work Up may not have the raw physical strength of Swords Dance, but it gets flexibility to hit a wider range of Pokemon in some way or another, depending on what options you choose to stick with. Life Orb's a must because you need the #STRENGTH but I guess Expert Belt, Leftovers, or Colbur Berry can suffice if you hate losing 10% of your HP for the #STRENGTH Life Orb brings. The given EVs maximize Speed while allowing Mew to get a nice clean guaranteed 2HKO on 252 HP / 252 Def Bold Blissey with Psyshock at +1, with the remainder dumped into Atk.

As I said, your options really vary depending on what you want to hit, and since Mew's so flexible, you should base the choices you make for the moves off the rest of its team. Psyshock's a must since it's STAB and lets Mew beat stuff like Suicune, Blissey, Aromatisse, Florges, etc. as it boosts. Sucker Punch is the preference for dealing with offensive teams, since faster stuff like Alakazam, Darmanitan, Crobat, etc. are more prone to it. Knock Off is preferred against defensive teams, as Mew can now beat bulky Psychic-types much more handily, examples being Slowbro, Cresselia, opposing Mew, and so on. Also does a number on Doublade if ever so needed. Dazzling Gleam lets Mew beat Dark-types thinking they can stop it, such as Sableye, Hydreigon, and Honchkrow (sorry but you'll have to force your hand to getting into Sucker Punch mindgames against Honchkrow. But if you can master the 50/50, you can come out on top! :] ). Fire Blast covers Steels, such as Escavalier and Mega Aggron who would otherwise laugh at you and proceed to mess everything up. Aura Sphere can be used to troll low ladder nubs running Brightpowder deal more damage to Empoleon after a boost while still covering most Steel- and/or Dark-types in general. It's all about what your team needs, baby. Either way Mew in essence is one of the most versatile Pokemon, and this set touches upon that versatility itself.

This set aims more at being a sweeper-wallbreaker in the sense that after a boost or two, it breaks through and softens up a number of both offensive and defensive Pokemon for its team, allowing a more dedicated setup sweeper it partners up with to come through and finish what's left.

It's sad you have to get to +3 to take Suicune down but all Mew has to do is be in and at least setting up before Suicune gets in. From there you should be able to come out on top

Celebi @ Light Clay
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 216 SpD / 40 Spe
Calm Nature
- Light Screen
- Reflect
- U-turn
- Healing Wish

This Celebi functions as a very effective dual screens supporters, due to its access to the momentum gaining U-turn, and Healing Wish, a move that can revive a sweeper to full capacity and sweep late game. This set is very simple, but gets the job done. Light Clay is obvious to make your screens last 8 turns, this is crucial for allowing set up opportunities on Hyper Offensive teams. Celebi's Grass/Psychic typing while having a lot of weaknesses has many useful resistances where it can find ample opportunity to set up its screens, on common Fighting, Water and Ground moves. The EVs outspeed adamant Krow and other base 100's trying to creep you hopefully (run more creep if you really want to). U-turn is great for a screens setter as it gives a way to instantly bring you momentum and get a switch in for free. Healing Wish really makes this unique as it allows you to play more aggressively in the early game, knowing Celebi can come in and get you sweeper back to full health so he can wreck some more shit. Otherwise not much else to say, it's a really simple but effective set, pretty unique, and a great choice for Hyper Offense teams.

Calcs cuz I need them

Celebi @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 220 SpD / 36 Spe
Calm Nature
- Recover / Healing Wish
- Baton Pass
- Stealth Rock
- Giga Drain

This little fucker is a god. For once, Celebi's incredibly stupid amount of weaknesses (Dark / Ghost / Fire / Bug / Flying / Poison ) helps it out tremendously, as it can reliably predict special effective hits and Baton Pass the boosts immediately to a recipient - all in one turn. I really got into using this set in the Torn-T era, as all three of Torn's main physical moves would set it off and not kill (even though it's SpD!).

Celebi isn't entirely useless outside of the WP-Pass either - it can set up Stealth Rocks, do respectable damage with Giga Drain, and heal itself or others. Healing Wish and Baton Pass might seem iffy, but this set is full utility, so having the ability to heal something after your WP/BP has been expended can be very valuable.

Special defense EVs enable celebi to take extraordinarily strong special super effective hits (dark, ghost, and fire are usually more special, the ones you can survive anyway) and pass the boosts.

Some great recipients are Mixed Infernape, Mixed Lucario, and mixed Sharpedo. Have fun ;)

Celebi @ Leftovers / Life Orb
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Seed Bomb
- Zen Headbutt
- Sucker Punch / Baton Pass / Heal bell / Recover

SD Celebi. It functions in a similar matter to SD mew, except that it's much more surprising an unexpected, Jolly nature and max Speed means you outspeed Hax, Hydreigon, base 95s, and base 90s which you won't outspeed if you run Adamant, 252 Atk for max power and simply 4 HP. Seed Bomb and Zen Headbutt for main STAB and the last move is your choice, you could either go Sucker Punch to secure some kills such as Victini or Baton Pass if you aren't sure Celebi would sweep vs. that team, you could also put in Heal Bell to check bulky waters and stall better as you heal off Toxic and Burn or you could even run Recover + Life orb to give you powerful strikes and the ability to heal off, if you still want Sucker Punch you can sacrafice Zen Headbutt. Great receivers would be Physical Nape, Lucario, Mega Aerodactyl, Physical Jirachi, etc. Leftovers helps in setting up while Life Orb gives a limited life but powerful offense.

EDIT: Apparently SD set is standard I'll come up with something later >.>

CHOICE BAND CELEBI UMG

Celebi @ Choice Band
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Seed Bomb
- Zen Headbutt
- Sucker Punch / Trick
- U-turn / Trick

Choice banded Celebi is a beast I'll tell you that, first it is extremely surprising and unpredictable, the opponent may predict SD but the immediate power of CB is just surprising and amazing. For the EV Spread, it's just standard 252 Atk / 252 Spe with a Jolly Nature, the moves have Dual STAB in Seed Bomb and Zen Headbutt while the last slot are 2 out of 3 options: Sucker Punch, U-turn, or Trick. Sucker Punch helps get things like Victini when weakened or like Jirachi and Metagross, or even weakened fast threats such as Crobat. U-turn helps in gaining momentum and hitting Dark- types, 2HKO-ing Hydregon and dodging a Dark Pulse at the same time, it can also 2HKO mew and dodge a WoW while almost OHKO Celebi. Trick on the other hand can be extremely handy, after doing work on the opponent you can trick your Choice Band late game and cripple his Blissey which Celebi cannot 2HKO.
