Because I feel the need to comment on the submissions somewhere in this process...

My attitude toward this is perhaps a sharp contrast to Pwnemon's, as I prefer exploring tactics over trying to engineer metagame shifts. When looking at the metagame-engineering concepts, I can't help but feel like they're trying to right a perceived wrong with the XY OU metagame, and I'm not sure the results will be what they had in mind in the end. With this in mind, Yilx and heartofgold have by far my favourite entries, with Yilx's edging out for being, in my mind, a bit more subtle. Both are pretty similar to my concept submission, except perhaps without the controversy and potential for misunderstanding attached to them. Birkal and TRC also have pretty great concepts. I'm just kind of lost as to what they set out to achieve, but I still prefer them to the others.
