[LOSS] Shrine of the Old Gods: Halls of Ages (Hard) - Deadfox081 and Engineer Pikachu

A large gate stands before you, towering above the forest for over fifty feet. On each half you can see a large, plain circle, surrounded by seven smaller ones. Perhaps these symbols used to be colored, but centuries of winters and summers eroded the stone to the point you can barely discern the lines. Everything seems to be like it was when you first explored this place after the Bright Hope ship landed... except now the gates are open. An impenetrable darkness conceals whatever lies beyond the massive gates. Standing there seems to be of no use, so you steel yourselves and step forward, venturing within the silent ruins.

Soundtrack

Your Pokémon light up the path enough for you to see a corridor stretching forward, far beyond your eyesight. The ceiling is far above your heads, but the corridor is still pretty narrow - you doubt more than three people could walk through it next to each other. Both the walls are decorated with ancient drawings, tall to the point you feel the pain in your necks as you turn your sights up. Large figures - humans, you would say - are kneeled before even bigger ones - definitely not humans. The largest figure - a serpentine creature floating in the air despite the lack of wide wings - looks to be the object of the humans' prays, as if it were a deity of some sort. The same scene is replicated on the other wall as well. What could this mean?

While you wonder about these images, however, you hear some voices coming from the end of the corridor. Slowly, you sneak through the corridor, up to the door at the end of it. Beyond the sill, a large room is illuminated by the dim light of some torches. On one side, a strange creature stands atop of an altar, immobile and shrouded in an ominous, violet aura. Next to it you notice a glowing orb, the color akin to the one of the eerie aura. But you have not much time to study the situation further because, on the other side, a weird humanoid creature stands, flanked by two sentinels. Its appearances are the most alien thing you ever saw, and its eyes burn of a seething, white fire that shines almost more intensely than the torches themselves. And its voice echoes through the room, deep like the noise of a thunder.

Your kind should have never been here. You only doomed yourselves!

Now, please, remember that on the first round you must choose a Pokemon to start channeling the Orb of Domination.

Revenankh is bound to the Orb of Domination, and can't act until it is active. A Pokemon, if ordered so, can reach the orb and channel its will through the crystal, in an attempt to take control of Revenankh. This command has priority -8. If a Pokemon manages to keep control of the orb for the entirety of the following action, Revenankh will fall under control of the respective player at the end of the round. The Pokémon can't act, but its player can use any of Revenankh's attacking moves. Revenankh is considered an allied Pokémon for all the duration of the Dominated effect, but is immune to everything - damage, as well as positive or negative effects. Lasts for (8) actions or until Valaun dies - whatever happens first. Once Revenankh breaks out of control, he becomes immune to the Dominated effect.

I just changed a couple things. Don't think Aqua Tail is worth it over Waterfall for a 1 BAP boost vs 90% acc and Lucario's Rain boosted HP Water outdamages Dual Chop. Only thing I might suggest is Blissey using HP Dragon action 2 while Gallade heals, since it hits harder and Gallade has reduced energy heals but otherwise looking good to me. Tomohawk might get a little smashed but.

Round 1

Might takes the initiative and swiftly strikes Valaun. Shogun quickly shields him from physical assaults, but Valaun has other plans for the Azumarill. A powerful thunderbolt zaps the Water-type rabbit in place, leaving it charred and shocked. The two Bisharps help their master and gang up on the Tomohawk, striking him repeatedly. But the team doesn't give up, and after setting up the final defenses and field effects, goes on the offense against the Light-type creature, laying the hurt on her with Water- and Dragon-type attacks. Shogun is significantly wounded, but Koken heals him partially with a soothing pulse. Valaun seems confident, but his tone changes significantly once the largely unnoticed Audino takes control of Revenankh with the orb:

Valaun: Ignorant fools! You will ruin everything!

Basically the goal is to start weathering down the Bisharp while still dealing a lot to Valaun; if Gallade and Rev concentrate on the Bisharp only, they'll die with a few attacks from Lucario and Tomohawk (I think). Azumarill can set up something like Aqua Ring A1 and let Druddigon take over threat. Rev should obviously start spamming Superpower A -> B every round, Cast can bash on Valaun, and Lucario can do whatever.

4 rounds of Superpower + 8 BAP Gallade = (37 + 41) * 4 = 312 --> 118 HP on each Bisharp
Lucario Aura Sphere: 39 DMG
Tomo Aura Sphere: 43 DMG

So three Aura Sphere from anyone (providing Tomo hits each one once) should be enough to kill them off both; Lucario can start that this round while Blissey gets Hurricane in preparation for Rev?

Valaun keeps zapping Might with jolts of electricity, until Kurimugan finally obtains its attention. Meanwhile, the team keeps up the offense, while the Fighting-types focus on Valaun's allies. But despite being backed by the controlled Revenankh, the Fighting-type mates can't help taking a huge blow from the Bisharp duo.

Round 3

Valaun squeezes Kurimugan with its psychic power, but the Dragon-type endures the mind blast without breaking a sweat and strikes in return with his tail. The two Bisharp, meanwhile, attack Samurai with their sinister technique. But, seeing that the Gallade reacts with righteous fury to their trickery, the two foes keep smashing him as much as they can, ignoring the controlled Revenankh. This doesn't prevent the remaining team mates from laying the hurt on all enemies, but now the Gallade looks severely weakened, albeit burning with vengeance.

I think Luke's heal pulse on Gallade is necessary action 1 since he's getting hit by both the Bisharp still. Drain Punch should then take care of any further HP issues for him and he has the EN thanks to chilling last round. We should be able to go virtually all out on Valaun next round and get him as low as possible while Rev keeps on hitting Bisharp. This will leave an ~100 HP Valaun to deal with (really only a guess at this HP total but we are doing 200 this round half hitting Bisharp so 300 in the next shouldn't be out of the question) and Bisharp down to 77 (aka 2 hits) and Audino can afford to take a whack or two once it stops chanelling. I think this is our best case scenario.

Gravity is too useful and Blissey's attacks aren't going to do an awful lot. I'm a little worried about Drudi's HP level but we should be able to take care of that next round thanks to Trick Room. I think this is the best we can do. Also it's a tiny issue that two of our mons outspeed Rev and Phantom Force is a thing but have to deal with that as it comes.

Kurimugan trembles before Valaun's might, but manages to survive the blunt. Sadly, the foe survives the team's onslaught as well, although Samurai twists the dimensions to buy the raid mates some extra time. Time that is quickly running out, as suddenly Revenankh breaks out of control!
