Welcome to the Avocado Tournament. This tournament is a much different process than other tourneys because this one has both the humor (idk if i'm funny lol) and skill. The beginning of the tourney is to start out with laddering, with the top 60 players making it to the qualification matches leading the tournament finals. Why win this tournament? First of all, you will become 100% avocado like Haunter. Second is that the winner will be considered one of the greatest battlers of Smogon and be recruited to many official Smogon Tours and professional Tournaments. We highly advise already considered good battlers to join this tourney, so we can compare there levels to new users whose battling skills are unknown. People such as Tesung or boudouche are great battlers (not limited too and they don't have to battle - their choice) for example and it would be great for these kind of battlers to play and compare their skill levels with others making it a challenging and very competitive tournament. This will be one of the longer tournaments so be aware. Now, we shall put some basic rules in to the mix:
- If anyone timer stalls in your match, please report in this thread. They will be disqualified.
- If anyone claims a ladder account that does not belong to them, then investigation will go on and the wrong user of the alt will be added from the tournament blacklist which will give you a horrible reputation and other tourneys hosted may not let you enter because you are not a reliable person. Also, you will be listed as 0% Avocado.
Part 1:
You are currently on this step. The first part of the tourney is to ladder. As previously mentioned, you must have a fresh alt to play with and ladder to the top 60 of the OU Ladder. Once you hit the top 30 and the deadline has been reached, claim your account and use the following format:

You may think that your Rank won't mean anything when reading Part 2, but if someone has the same stars as you and you both are qualified for the Top 16, then the one with a higher rank will continue. Your rank is really important in the long run if you get 3 stars for example.
Part 2:
Once you are at this part, the challenge begins. You will all have to face 5 different opponents by the deadline that may be extended. For each of the opponents you beat you gain a star. Each star indicates an opponent you beat with the max amount of stars you can get being 5. At the end of this round, the top 16 players with the most stars will advance to the final stage, the playoffs / Avocat Haunter. There is some confusion in this part for some reason. Ex. All the players with 4 and 5 stars advance. There is still one spot left but 6 players have 3 stars. The 3 star player with the highest rank from Round 1 will advance. That should clear it up. the format of Part 2 is as follows:

You are 100% responsible for your replays. If you lose a replay of a win, it will not recover at all costs even if the opponent admits defeat in that battle, and you will not gain the star. Putting replays of normal battles is unacceptable and your opponent's will check your replays. Don't act too smart.
Part 3:
Hello. This is Part 3. The Top 16 will go to the Dynamic 8, the Avocado 4, and the Finals with the king being 100% Avocado. This part is fairly simple. Its a tournament from here on. Winner gets aforementioned status. They are best out of 5 matches here. Its time to see who will become Avocat [X Username] de gagnant!
