I’m loving the bassline of this one. It’s a bit more Soul inclined than Disco but well.

A featuring with Vandross, that’s yet another great Funk track.

I simply L O V E this track, and the guitar is cool as fuck. Good old funk.


D Train - You’re the one for me
It sounds very old lmfao, but I love the lil sound that appears at 0.55, and that’s a fair Funky track imo.


T.S. Monk - Can’t keep my hands to myself
Really great band, the bassline & the vocal are just great

Deco - i’m so glad I met you
A lil more chilled than the other ones, but I really dig the instrumental. The vocal is simply “ok” though.


Ron Richardson - Ooh Wee Babe
I’d say that it’s just the average Disco/Funk song, but it fits pretty well the theme of the thread imo. And there are some nice little songs in it. Definitely a gold mine if you’re looking for samples (as for every Funk track but whatever).


Ruth Dawes - I love only you
A respectable, yet unknown, Disco/Funk track.


The Waters - Dance with me
That’s your average Disco track. But you can tell that this one is very hipster, I can’t find it anywhere but on this weird Youtube Video made of a Shakira like girl shaking her ass on a 3sec loop. Creepy.


New Jersey Connection - Love don’t come easy

edit : X5Dragon Atlantic Starr have insane instrumentals (this song has been sampled SO MANY TIMES), Jamiroquai is simply a god (I mean it) and EW&F/Chic/Rushen are indispensable to any Funk lover
