no, you'd need a match to decide third and fourth place. even if luck / rng were no factor, it's still perfectly conceivable that because the "3rd" and "4th" place teams had no interaction (separate halves of the bracket), the team who lost to the second place team may have been equally good or better than the team who lost to the first place team. If the first place team is a 10 and the second place a 9, that makes no claims whatsoever about any other teams in the bracket.

(unless there's some precedent set where whoever lost to the first place team in semis gets third place, and i'm just spouting shit like a dumbass as usual)
