September 5th marks the beginning of the eighteenth season of the Smogon Tour, where players will compete for nine weeks in XY OU, BW OU and DPP OU to earn the chance to make the top sixteen and reach playoffs for an opportunity to win one of Smogon's most sought after trophies. For more information on how the tournament works, visit the Smogon Tour website, where all the rules of the tournament are nicely explained. If you need any clarification regarding anything there or have any questions concerning something, don't hesitate to ask.

All Smogon Tours will be held on http://smogtours.psim.us/ unless stated otherwise. The times at which Smogon Tours are held have not changed, meaning the following:
  • Smogon Tours begin at 6 PM Eastern time on Fridays.
  • Smogon Tours begin at 4 PM Eastern time on Saturdays.
  • Smogon Tours begin at 2 PM Eastern time on Sundays.
  • You can only join two tours per week. Joining more than two tours per week will result in you receiving a -3 point deduction.
Last season saw Mariano come out on top with the pink trophy in his first ever Smogon Tour playoff. Who will follow his footsteps? Who knows. The regular season is always full of surprises from our players and hosts, but if this year's Smogon Frontier is any indication, we can expect a couple of scandals and tournament bans to be given out.

Nonetheless, the Smogon Tour is one of the funnest tournaments on this website so go ahead and give it a try if you haven't before - you just might like it and make a name for yourself!

Motherfucker above me complaining about the time on saturday
speakin' for all dem indians so they can have it there way
Well breh, i speak for all the players when i say
That aint a nigga from india winning this shit anyway

Take that aegislash's blade use it to fill your body with gashes

This aint a new alt i just came to give a fair warning for people like:
Laurel, jas0n, all the italians, they have no reason to bother
It's like i'm a 100% rain boosted Kyogre in OU and they're the death fodder.

Anyways, I play to enjoy, do my best, and learn a thing or two for next time (day by day I improve.....so one day I shall catch up no matter how good you are). Winning is awesome but I've learnt if you only play to win you lose sight of what you were and what you really want. (And if you lose you rage for a week nonstop then quit
