Bulbapedia doesn't back you up lol
"If the move used is Hidden Power, the user's type changes to the actual type of Hidden Power the user possesses."

The server or your internet is probably just lagging you should wait a bit and try again later.
No, I have the exact same problem. I have a fast internet connection as well.
Not only does clicking the teambuilder button not work, but going to the teambuilder url doesn't work either.
This is maybe related to editing out the text and saving a Pokémon, as that's the last thing I did before the bug occurred. I've restarted absolutely everything and there's been no positive outcome.

I dont even realize everyone in my sig is being sarcastic
i had that problem on firefox i moved to google chrome and it solved everything.

A level 1 ditto copying a level 100 pokemon should have shit HP but the other stats should be high, correct?

vs Goodra
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-161303007
vs Gothitelle
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-161301003

Here a level 22 ditto copies a level 100 Goodra and it appears from the damage done that Ditto's stats are that of a level 22 Goodra, not level 100. I didn't run the calcs myself but it is obvious that the damage is ridiculously small, and this was happened on every occasion a low level Ditto was used. Zarel please fix.

Level itself is part of the damage calculation.

There seems to be a bug concerning IVs in the teambuilder. I made an OU team containing Latias, and made HP Fire one of its moves, causing the Speed IV to drop to 30. I later made some changes and removed HP Fire, but the Speed IV remained at 30, causing me to tie with an opposing Latias carrying HP Fire rather than outspeed. To me it makes sense that if the IVs are automatically altered when selecting a Hidden Power, they should automatically revert if the HP is removed. I feel as though this is fairly important, as Speed ties b/w Latias/Latios are not uncommon. I'm just glad i found out in a ladder match rather than a tour or something lol.

Not sure if this is a glitch or not, and not really sure where to post it.

I was playing a gen 4 OU game with someone, and he pursuit trapped (and killed) my Starmie. I originally wanted to switch to Swampert so I clicked Swampert to switch to as the opponent used Pursuit. I assumed that I would be able to choose a Pokemon to bring in after Starmie died but it automatically brought in Swampert, the mon that I picked when I wanted to switch out Starmie out..

I played a gen 6 OU game and the same scenario happened, except after it died from Pursuit I was able to pick a mon again from my team.

Not sure if this is what happens in-game or not, but it kinda sucks especially because in the first scenario I could have done something else and it would have gotten me an upper hand, instead of going to the mon I originally clicked on a haste.

edit: also the same thing that happens in gen 6 also happens in gen 5.

Not a bug. The mechanic changed from BW.

Hello. I was just trying out my team in Haxmons and my Salac Berry Tauros with Anger Point seems to have experienced a bug. Turn 1 I was hit(with a critical of course) and Salac Berry activated though Anger Point didn't. However, on turn 3 you can see I definitely DO get the boost. Is this intentional that both can't activate simultaneously?

Thank you

Beta.

Ruff Ruff amirite?

Thank you

Did Generation 1's Wrap bug get fixed? I don't see it in the OP anymore.

Also, I believe I've found another Generation 1 bug: All charge moves (Sky Attack, Solarbeam, Dig..) need to recharge if they grab a kill. When this happens, you are locked like you just used Hyper Beam and did not get the KO.

And apparently Mirror Move is broken from what I've heard.

Edit: added a replay to show you exactly what happens http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen1oubeta-161989246

Marowak used Rock Slide!
The opposing Snorlax lost 0.1–4.1% of its health!
The opposing Snorlax used Body Slam!
Marowak lost 8.0% of its health!

This was in a Gen2 OU battle, it was my +2 marowak vs a snorlax. It wasnt a visual glitch as the turns after it didn't instantly die to skarms drill peck, and it could use belly drum without fainting. http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen2oubeta-162099014
If your Marowak has a maximum Attack DV, Thick Club and +2 will make it surpass 999. In GSC, a stat that passes 999 will go to 0 and count up from there.

ah fek, forgot about that, sorry. but since PS doesnt have a option to change DV's (trough teambuilder if you select gen2, or via text editing) changing 252ev's+iv's to 250 (249) should do the trick right?

More precisely, your Attack rolls over if it surpasses 1024 (2^10)... or maybe 1023 (-1) but it doesn't matter. You normally can't break the 999 stat cap in Gen 2 but Thick Club's Attack doubling ignores that, so a max Marowak (258) at +2 (1032) will barely roll over and leave you in the single digits.

I have no idea how you make this work in PS, since the teambuilder is not oldgen-friendly, but normally set your Attack DV to 13 anyway (254 -> 1016) to keep max HP, as the HP DV is based on your other four stats. Theoretically, in-game, you could also have less than max Stat Exp but no simulator has ever had that kind of functionality since it's much more complicated than the EV system started in Gen 3.

I've checked and double checked Symbiosis's function, and it says Air Balloon will trigger Symbiosis. This has happened every time I play doubles:

Please tell me it's Showdown's Mechanics fault and not me missing something qq

Florges does have an item, and does have Symbiosis
