Yanmega @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Endure
- Bug Buzz
- Reversal
- Air Slash

With a multitude of weaknesses, it isn't hard to get off a Weakness Policy boost. Endure ensures you survive the hit, Reversal to fuck up Blissey.

From there, you can just clean through the opponent's team with extremely powerful attacks.

+2 252+ SpA Yanmega Bug Buzz vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Mega Houndoom: 324-382 (111.3 - 131.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252+ SpA Yanmega Bug Buzz vs. 132 HP / 0 SpD Mega Ampharos: 274-324 (77.4 - 91.5%) -- 31.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
+2 252+ SpA Yanmega Bug Buzz vs. 16 HP / 0 SpD Haxorus: 399-471 (134.3 - 158.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Calc's are hard to do considering this thing is used when most Pokemon have been weakened, just realize there aren't very many offensive Pokemon that can stand up to this thing after a WP boost.

Yanmega @ Life Orb
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Protect
- Giga Drain
- Bug Buzz
- Shadow Ball/Air Slash/Hypnosis

This may not seem like anything very different than a typical cleaning 'Mega, but it actually functions as a lead, as it beats 7/10 of the top 10 leads according to the 1730 August statistics. However, it doesn't do crap against GeoPass.

Protect is to outspeed Bandtini (I'm guessing that's the lead set, otherwise pray for double protect), Minshao, Frosslass, Galvantula, Hydreigon..., so hazards might still get up so just flip a coin to see if they hazard or attack, Giga is for Blastoise and Swampert, Bug Buzz is for Drei, Zelf, and Tini, Shadow Ball is for Rachi, Tini, and Lass, Air Slash is for hax and Shao, Hypnosis is for if you're real.

I understand the purpose, but is there anything different about the above set from the cleaner set, besides the 4th slot option for Hypnosis? Just wondering.

Anyway, here's anti-lead/support Yanmega.

Yanmega @ Focus Sash
Ability: Tinted Lens
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature (-Atk, +SpA)
- Bug Buzz
- Air Slash
- Defog
- Tailwind

Defog on a Pokémon 4x to Stealth Rock? Wat. This set is a dedicated anti-lead for offensive teams that need to keep hazards off of the field, like VoltTurn. Focus Sash ensures you can always take a hit and set up Tailwind if needed, so that Yanmega and its team benefit from it (after it faints). Yanmega hits like a truck and 2HKO's all common offensive leads with Tinted Lens Bug Buzz/Air Slash. Defog is awesome because it's unexpected and neuters opposing suicide hazard leads, like lead Forretress or Froslass, should they choose to focus on setting up hazards and dying, only for the opponent to realize they effectively wasted a Pokémon when their hazards are blown away.

Even Galvantula is handled by this set, thanks to Tailwind. If it uses Sticky Web to try to take advantage of an expected switch, it's outsped and 2HKO'd by Yanmega after a 1st turn Tailwind. Then, Yanmega can Defog on the next Pokémon before its last 1 HP is taken. Even if it uses Thunder first, the next Pokémon after Yanmega, backed by Tailwind, can finish off Galvantula before it can set up Silly Strings. Cool stuff.

May post some calcs later for notable KOs.

That set should probably be running Reversal over Giga Drain, because blissey a shit.

Better LO set in my opinion.

Yanmega @ Life Orb
Ability: Tinted Lens
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- U-turn
- Giga Drain
- Air Slash
- Bug Buzz

Hard to switch in to, while being able to switch moves unlike specs. LO also boosts uturn which combined with tinted lens can help chunk resists down quite well. Naive because you don't have speedboosts to crutch off of.

4 Atk Life Orb Tinted Lens Yanmega U-turn vs. 252 HP / 232 Def Florges: 81-96 (22.5 - 26.6%)
252 SpA Life Orb Tinted Lens Yanmega Bug Buzz vs. 252 HP / 24+ SpD Florges: 109-127 (30.2 - 35.2%) -- guaranteed 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

That's 50% + without even taking in hazard damage from probably the best switchin to this.

Also hits annoying steel types like Mega Aggron and Registeel.
Actually, Bug Buzz hits standard M-Aggron much harder but fails to even 2HKO about 70% of the time. So it can definitely end Yanmega's sweep with Heavy Slam if decently healthy.

Also, a Rash Nature and 4 Atk EVs is better with Reversal to get the OHKO on 252/4 Registeel at +2 and max power.

Yanmega @ Petaya Berry

Modest Nature

- Endure

Recoilless power that surpasses LO? Yes please! A different take on Endure WP, as opponents may not always smack you super effectively. Also you don't die to LO recoil while sweeping which is cool.

Priority doesn't exist, and Giga Drain is OP needs ban move that heals 500% of hp so you don't get killed by it.

How To Beat Baton Pass Boosters

Yanmega @ Life Orb
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Air Slash
- Bug Buzz
- Psych Up
- Endure

So theoretically this is how you use it.
1) Switch it into Smeargle/Passer after it gets a boost.
2) Psych up on the Baton Pass or whenever.
3) Easily revenge-killed BP recipient.

Theory: Although this set is specifically targeting Smeargles, it works against most Baton Passers. The most important factor is that Yanmega can use Psych Up to obtain boosts in Speed from Quiver Dance, Dragon Dance, etc. and can neutralize Pokemon who have some defensive cushioning from stuff like Calm Minds (Essentially if a +4 SpDef matches up against a +4 SpAtt, it's the same as a +0 vs. +0). The glorious juice of this set is that it can easily one-up QD and SmashPass recipients by being faster than them thanks to Speed Boost giving that extra stage in Speed.

The anti-meta Scarfmega.

Yanmega @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Tinted Lens
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid/Modest/Naive Nature
- Bug Buzz
- Air Slash
- Giga Drain
- U-turn

Plain and simple, designed to confused the meta. Works specifically well when predicting switch ins (like Arcanine, Crobat, etc). 3 standard moves + u-turn incase you really hate your matchups. The switch between Timid/Modest/Naive is entirely up to you. Personally, since it already outspeeds whole tier at this point, I'd go for modest. Needs proper support to work, but would fit exceptionally well on a volt-turn team with a strong umbreon core.

252+ SpA Tinted Lens Yanmega Bug Buzz vs. 252 HP / 120 SpD Mega Aggron: 156-184 (45.3 - 53.4%) -- 88.7% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock
252+ SpA Yanmega Air Slash vs. 248 HP / 4 SpD Crobat: 150-177 (40.2 - 47.4%) -- 98.4% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Black Sludge recovery
252 SpA Tinted Lens Yanmega Bug Buzz vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Arcanine: 162-192 (42.2 - 50.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

Don't see why everyone is bothering to keep special bulk, since its already so bad that you won't be living any hits from things. Naive/Rash is just better all-around for sets carrying U-turn.
