Nature: Bold (+1 Def, -1 Atk)
Type: Psychic / Fairy

  • Psychic STAB; Can lift and throw opponents with Psychic regardless of Special Attack Rank. Psychic-Type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.
  • Fairy STAB; -1 EN on non-Fairy Typed Nature, Sound, and Scent moves (Stacks with second STAB where applicable). (Nature Power, Natural Gift; Sound Moves; Aromatherapy, Odor Sleuth, Sweet Scent)
Abilities: Synchronize / Trace / Telepathy (H) / Pixilate (M)
  • Synchronize: (Passive) Pokemon with this ability mentally link their condition to an opposing Pokemon and pass on any status inflicted on them to their foe. Due to their body structure, Poison-Types cannot be poisoned, Fire-Types cannot be burned & Electric-Types cannot be paralyzed in this manner.
  • Trace: (Trigger) When entering into battle, this Pokemon can copy an ability on one of its opponents for 6 EN. This effect only triggers if the ability to be copied is specified when the Pokemon is sent out. The ability remains on the Pokemon for six (6) actions. Wonder Guard cannot be Traced.
  • Telepathy: (Passive) This Pokemon has a mental link with its allies in multiple battles, which allows it to avoid taking damage from allied attacks that damage each foe or the entire field like Blizzard and Earthquake. They are still affected by an opponents spread damage attacks.
  • Pixilate (Toggle) By default, this Pokemon's Normal-type moves are Fairy-type moves, and have an additional two (2) BAP boost. When toggled, this Pokemon's Normal-type attacks have their BAP increased by two (2). If a Pokemon has been skill-swapped multiple abilities that change Normal-type attacks, the attacks become dual-typed, but the BAP boosts of the abilities do not stack.

Type: Steel / Psychic

  • Steel STAB; immune to Sandstorm damage, immune to Poison/Toxic status, but can be corroded specifically by Acid and Acid Spray, making them susceptible to Poison-Type attacks and Poison/Toxic Status.
  • Psychic STAB; Can lift and throw opponents with Psychic regardless of Special Attack Rank. Psychic-Type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.
Abilities: Levitate / Heatproof / Heavy Metal (H)
  • Levitate: (Passive) This Pokemon naturally floats above the earth when released or easily takes flight, evading the Ground moves Bulldoze, Earthquake, Fissure, and Magnitude. Earth Power will have three (3) less Base Attack Power. Dig and Dive can strike a Levitating Pokemon if their user is over Size Class 4, has Levitate, is 3.5m or larger, or is a Flying-Type. Otherwise Dig and Dive will miss. Ground moves can still hit.
  • Heatproof: (Passive) This Pokemon's mirror-like alloyed skin protects it from Fire-Type attacks, reducing the Type effectiveness of Fire-Typed attacks to the next level of resistance (2x weak becomes neutral, neutral becomes resistance, etc.) The damage inflicted by burns is also cut in half.
  • Heavy Metal: (Passive) The Pokemon's body structure is immensely dense, doubling its actual weight. .

Lamarche (Mollux) {♂}

Nature: Bold (+1 Def, -1 Atk)
Type: Fire / Poison

  • Poison STAB; immunity to Poison/Toxic status. Absorb Toxic Spikes on switch-in unless Flying-Typed or using the ability Levitate. -- Accuracy when using Toxic, Poison Gas, or Poison Powder, hitting even during Dig, Fly, etc. Ignore Fog's accuracy reduction. Store Command.
  • Fire STAB; immune to burn status. Brighten Command.
Abilities: Dry Skin / Illuminate (H)
  • Dry Skin: (Passive) This Pokemon has spongy, yet sensitive skin, causing it to burn in bright sunlight for damage but absorb water and heal damaged tissues in rain. This effect results in dealing two (2) damage/action to this Pokemon in sunlight and recovering two (2) HP/action in rain. In addition, the dry skin is very vulnerable to flames and the Base Attack Power of incoming Fire attacks is increased by two (2). The Pokemon absorbs the damage of water attacks and recovers 25% of HP the damage that would have been inflicted.
  • Illuminate: (Toggle) No default effect. When toggled, this Pokemon emits a continuous light that brightens the environment and makes it easier for all Pokemon to see. While this ability is active, any darkened or twilight state in the battle is negated and all moves used by any Pokemon (friend or foe, or itself) have their accuracy increased by 10% (flat). Boosts from multiple Illuminates do not stack.

Enchanted Meadow

Enchanted Meadow. It's a beautiful rolling plains in Kalos, covered in a mix of flowers and grass. It's hard to believe that such a peaceful place could hold a great secret, but the locals have sworn that they've seen a very oddly coloured Floette recently arrive in the area, and with it a large number of Pokemon have made their home in the meadow. Locals also report that in the middle of the night, large beams of light have been striking the sky. You're not too convinced that this is anything more than a shiny Floette, but it would probably be a relaxing exploration, and so you decide to have a look on behalf of the villagers...

You heard stories about a strange colored Floette that wandered here. Those stories ended with an evil lady with ghost pokemon capturing it in the end.

Then why you are here? Well, you heard that there were rumors that another weird-colored Floette was spotted. Perhaps there are more than one? Or maybe the original one had kids. You will never know.

But it appears that the rumors were true. The meadow seems as if it had a life of its own and a deep hatred of newcomers. Including you.

And of course that is probably a terrific way to say "come and explore me" in your book -_-''

Of Mice and Mischief

The path weaves it's way around, traversing the meadow easily. There's many types of flowers, a wide variety of colours. You're quite surprised when out of some particularly tall yellow flowers a Dedenne pops out! You're only a little more surprised when the Dedenne managed to tackle Lamarche a substantial distance away, and begins to Charge power in an ominous manner. You've no clue how something as physically weak as Dedenne managed to take Lamarche that far away from you either...

A densely packed area of bushes, it seems impossible to move without managing to find a new berry. It's probably a good thing that these bushes are lacking in thorns though.

  • Pokemon with Cheek Pouch can swap a Berry they are holding for a new one at the start of a round when their controller orders first.
  • When the Berry of a Pokemon with Pickup is consumed or destroyed, the berry is recycled at the end of the round.
  • Natural Gift is a Special Attack

Mollux should have +2 Def still because of Acid Armor being used at the end of the round.
Good job Lamarche. This is far from over though, and I doubt that little mice will let itself be beaten so easily. Be careful, that thing bites.

You manage to dispatch Dedenne...but not in the way intended. The Fairy-Mouse erected a Protective barrier against your assaults and exploited a moment you had your guard down to strike you hard with a Natural Gift Combo! Although Light Screen softened the blow somewhat.

That final attack was in expense of Dedenne's remaining energy, so it fainted and now you can move on. But you can't help but wonder...if a small mouse like Dedenne was so viciously aggressive against you, then what lies ahead probably won't be as calm and peaceful as the scenery may make it seem...

Floating Blossoms

You approach a pond, nestled underneath a Cherry Blossom tree, the petals floating on it. To the side, you see a Marill trying to feed a Lotad a pair of Wiki Berries, but it seems too weak to do anything. You could sacrifice some of your medical supplies to help the poor thing... that said, part of you sees that the Wiki Berries will itself be useful down the line...

Whilst you can't afford to use all your healing materials on this Lotad, you can spare some. The spray bottle gives out a liquid that makes Lotad feel substantially better it seems. It then dives below the pond, before surfacing with a couple of items on it's back. You're surprised that the items have landed down there, but you take them before moving on.

Challenger gets a Poison Gem and a Cherish Ball (already on the backpack btw)!

Performance Grotto

Ahead of you, you notice some sort of elegant display going on. A Kirlia dances for a small crowd whilst a Tropius rhythmically stomps the ground to create a beat, and interested, you head down towards the performance. However, your presence in the area seems to have dispersed the crowd, and the two performers are currently both giving you an angry glare, before they start throwing attacks at you - not your team, but you. Your mons move to protect you, but it seems like you need to patch your wounds up first.

A natural stage, surrounded by logs to sit on. It seems that the stage is partially assisted with some Psychic-Type moves, presumably to help whoever performs on the stage. You feel everything slowly get heavier... it seems that the influence is limited, at least.
  • Physical Spread moves do not suffer spread move penalty.

Kirlia: Helping Hand + Helping Hand (Tropius's Hyper Beam) - cooldown

However, despite the terminology used, the substitution with that clause will activate if the right move is ordered, regardless of whether or not the move is actually successfully used.

You resume offense, although trying to hit a flying tropius wasn't the brightest idea ever, I must say.

You manage to deal more damage in one attack than your opponents in 4. Yet, they managed to chip away some precious health out of your Gardevoir. It may be interesting to figure out something, before this becomes too much of a hassle.
