I feel like the only set Hitmonchan can run to not be /completely/ outclassed in every way is some kind of offensive Foresight set. Doublade is obviously used often and Spiritomb is rising in usage for countering most Meloetta sets, so those two are commonly chosen as spinblockers, but with Foresight, Hitmonchan can technically beat both of them. Calcs:

252+ Atk Life Orb Hitmonchan Close Combat vs. 212 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Doublade: 226-268 (72.4 - 85.8%)
252+ Atk Life Orb Iron Fist Hitmonchan Mach Punch vs. 212 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Doublade: 94-112 (30.1 - 35.8%) -- 28.4% chance to 3HKO
252+ Atk Doublade Iron Head vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Hitmonchan: 154-183 (63.9 - 75.9%)

So if Doublade switches into a Foresight, it gets KOd by Close Combat + Mach Punch. Doublade is slower, so Hitmonchan wins (wow).

252+ Atk Life Orb Hitmonchan Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Spiritomb: 330-390 (108.5 - 128.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO

If Spiritomb switches into a Foresight, it has no chance. It can even beat Mega Banette, assuming it hasn't mega evolved yet.

252+ Atk Life Orb Hitmonchan Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Mega Banette: 305-360 (91.8 - 108.4%) -- 50% chance to OHKO

It flat out loses to defensive ghosts like Jellicent and Cofagrigus, but at least it tried ;-;

Anyway, here's the set:

Offensive Foresight
########
name: Offensive Foresight
move 1: Foresight
move 2: Close Combat
move 3: Mach Punch
move 4: Rapid Spin
ability: Iron Fist
item: Life Orb
evs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
nature: Adamant

I would give Fist Plate a strong mention, but it can miss the 2HKO on Doublade, which sucks. It still OHKOs Spiritomb. This is honestly the only set that can possibly be run on Hitmonchan without being completely outclassed in every possible way, at least I think so. Hitmonchan is still garbage.

Hitmontop can't 2HKO Doublade or OHKO Spiritomb. I'm trying here, but it's hard to fine a good set for a garbage Pokemon like Hitmonchan :(

it can if it uses 252 attack adamant, in which case it is still bulkier than hitmonchan, with or without intimidate. Not saying that that is a good set, but it's still much better than the set you posted in every way that could possibly matter.

also it doesn't matter that your set can 2hko doublade because iron head + sneak koes it back, while doublade can't even 3hko 252/0 hitmontop

Just a note, you completely forgot CC's Defense drops in the Doublade scenario.

252+ Atk Doublade Iron Head vs. -1 0 HP / 4 Def Hitmonchan: 231-273 (95.8 - 113.2%) -- 75% chance to OHKO

So Hitmonchan is still losing to Doublade no matter what even in a perfect prediction scenario (not to mention Hitmontop does it better)

The sad part of it all is, If Hitmonchan uses Drain Punch+Mach Punch instead of Close Combat, it still needs absolute maximum damage rolls AND perfect prediction to even have a shot at getting past Doublade, and it will still most likely be unable to use Rapid Spin afterwards, being forced out so easily in a weakened state. Not to mention Hitmontop STILL does it better ;-;.

Would a purely attacking set be viable? 105 base Attack is *ok*, and Hitmonchan does get all of the elemental punches boosted by Iron Fist. I know that it's still not that good, but it's at least not as hopelessly outclassed as any set involving Rapid Spin is.

I know this is WIP but in Team Options you should mention: 'Anything that can replace this.'
In Usage Tips, mention 'Don't use Hitmonchan'

And Gurdurr, who even goes as far as the have the same base Attack stat, coverage, and ability =/. (although if i was using offensive Gurdurr i'd probably throw Knock Off on it somewhere tbh, but because Gurdurr can do that and chan can't that's just another point in Gurdurr's favor).

Banned deucer.
Seeing as how this thing has to have an analysis anyway, can we make it a joke analysis and have a Choice Specs set as the main set? Like, can we really do that....? plz

Hitmonchan (M) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Focus Blast
- Vacuum Wave
- Hidden Power [Dark]
- Rapid Spin

i asked, we're not allowed =(.

If this is a serious analysis, change the set title to "DON'T USE HITMONCHAN" so most people instantly get the idea that this thing is not good whatsoever.

252+ Atk Life Orb Hitmonchan High Jump Kick vs. 212 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Doublade: 244-291 (78.2 - 93.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Though you are still better off using Hitmonlee or Hitmontop...
