Stone Guardians
Type: Fire Pit

As you continue through the sweltering heat and magma-filled rooms, you come upon a room with a single platform surrounded on all sides by molten lava. On the platform there exist several statues of an ancient Pokemon that you can't quite place offhand. They appear to be dormant and just statues, but in a place like this you can never truly tell. What do you do?

Player Options

A) Take the left side of the room across.
B) Take the center of the room across.
C) Take the right side of the room across.

is there any difference between the three options?

Also after being open-source this became stupid, y/y?

#ihateprerevampblacksulfurcaldera

You take the right side of the room and make it across successfully. As you get to the other side of the room, you sigh in relief, knowing that maybe there is still a trap in that room that you somehow miraculously dodged. You nod to your Pokemon and move with them deeper into the pits underneath the caldera.

Hot Springs

You come across a room that, instead of having lava along the floor, has a legitimate pool of water in it. Your Pokemon gasp at the sight, clearly exhilarated. The water appears to be incredibly warm, but only painfully so if you stay in it for an extended period of time. Still, no matter how long you stay in, it appears to be incredibly refreshing, and surely your Pokemon could use the break. What do you do?

Player Options:

A) Rest in the spring for a little bit.
B) Rest in the spring for an extended period of time.

The brief period of relaxation relaxes your party slightly, restoring twenty (20) energy to the whole team. You don't let your team stay in too long, however, and so get them out before they sustain damage from the immense heat. Thankful for the relaxing break, your revitalized Pokemon and you push deeper into the caldera.

Lake of Fire

Wasting no time, you retrack your steps and move further on the caldera.

As you go down, the heat grows higher and higher to the point of being excrutiating. You can feel the caldera beating like a huge heart. A mean heart that want to eat your hear---well you get the drift.

You start to sweat. Your palms get wet and you begin to second-guess your plans. Maybe going back wasn't the best idea. You managed to get away alive once....but twice? maybe not.

Swallowing all your fear and putting on your best brave face, you move forward to where you fought Heatran the last time and you hear....

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

...this was slightly different than last time...

"And then he hit my weak point and that was the perfect opportunity for me to fake dead and escape on the lava!"

"Hahaha, and who would know that trainers would be fooled that easy!"

"Ho ho, and this one spent months getting down here. Only to lose at the very last moment!!"

"....uh...boss..."

"I mean, is there a limit at how pathetic someone can be? That was just ridiculous! Ridiclously hilarious!!"

"Boss...you need to know something..."

"What? I am busy gloating."

"Behind you..."

*turns head* "...oh...you..oops..........rawr"

Lake of Fire

The lake of fire is the pit within a volcano, and is inhospitable to all but the most zealous and defiant of Pokemon species. The sheer heat of the arena causes the environment to be as if the sun was shining brightly, even underground. The heat also burns the skin simply by being so hot, and the only Pokemon that appear to be unaffected are Fire-types. Every other Pokemon takes 1 damage per action if they 4x resist Fire-type attacks, 2 damage per action if they 2x resist Fire-type attacks, 3 damage per action if they are neutral to Fire-type attacks, 4 damage per action if they are 2x weak to Fire-type attacks, or 5 damage per action if they are 4x weak to Fire-type attacks. Furthermore, Pokemon seem to exist within the lava and will erupt forth to assist Heatran as needed. The arena itself seems to be Heatran's very being, and beating him here will be no trifling matter.

Summary:

Arena Type: Cave
No water source present.
Weather: Excruciating Heat
Unchangeable
Possesses all normal features of Sunny Day
All non Fire-type Pokemon take damage per action based on their resistance or weakness to Fire-type attacks. (1 DPA = 4x resistance, 2 DPA = 2x resistance, 3 DPA = neutrality, 4 DPA = 2x weakness, 5 DPA = 4x weakness)
Every five (5) rounds of combat, a Pokemon will burst forth from the lava to join Heatran in battle.
There is a 2/3% chance that the spawned Pokemon will be a Slugma, and a 1/3% chance that it will be a Magcargo.
The nature of the arena allows Heatran to use the Inversion command to give him added maneuverability and evasive control. He will use this command to dodge attacks that are particularly threatening, except those that hit during it anyway.
Seismic attacks (Earthquake, Bulldoze, Magnitude) have halved Base Attack Power due to the lava dissipating much of the seismic energy of the attack.
Water-type attacks have half their Base Attack Power due to the heat in the arena.

Heatran (M)
Nature: Naive
+15% Speed, +9% Accuracy, -1 SpD

Type: Fire / Steel
Fire STAB; immune to burn, emit a low glow in dark places, takes additional damage if active open flames are exposed to a water attack. Superior senses in volcanic or brushfire areas.

Steel STAB; Immune to Sandstorm, highly insusceptible to toxic attacks, but can be corroded specifically by Acid and Acid Spray, can be magnetized. Superior senses in high-metal environments like construction sites or factories.

Abilities:
Flash Fire:
(Innate) This Pokemon thrives in high temperatures, and takes the energy of any opposing fire attack, nullifies the damage, and uses the additional power to boost its own fire attack’s Base Attack Power by two (2). Self-targeted attacks do not give the boost.
Flame Body:
(Innate) This Pokemon’s external temperature is kept at such a high level that any contact attack used on this Pokemon has a 30% chance of burning the opponent.

Abilities:
Intimidate: (Can Be Activated) When this Pokemon initially goes out into the battlefield, it generates an intimidating roar or war cry that shakes all opponents on the battlefield, reducing their Attack stage by one (1). The attack drop is maintained at the end of each round. If an opponent switches in a new Pokemon, Intimidate can be activated again as an Action, and will affect all opponents.
Flash Fire: (Innate) This Pokemon thrives in high temperatures, and takes the energy of any opposing fire attack, nullifies the damage, and uses the additional power to boost its own fire attacks Base Attack Power by two (2). Self-targeted attacks do not give the boost.
Justified (DW) (Unlocked): This Pokemon's body reacts to dark energy, invigorating its passions. When hit by a Dark-type move, the Pokemon's attack will increase one (1) stage. A boost gained this way by another Pokemon's attack will be maintained at the end of each round. Self-targeted attacks do not maintain boosts.

Anyway, Slowking fainted and an asleep gigalith with pretty much no health was sent out to replace it. Was it really worth it? =.=

Regardless, you are on a great position.
