Timer ball or if you have access to johto balls a Fast one? Good old Premier ball too

Assuming this one might be catched like we did with FS this game... Heal ball? Dream ball is really nice too but it would be a illegal ball. Both for contrast.

Luxury ball. Maybe friend ball.

Mmm heal ball? Maybe love ball or heavy ball too, again going with apricorns

I think friend ball looks good for mega-beedrill since you don't need to have it's HA because you're either gonna mega evolve or just die before you can use anything to abuse sniper with. if you want to match it as close as possible dusk is your best bet imo

Shedinja (can only be in different ball if evolved in gen 3).
Legendaries (have to SR, and [probably] can't be shiny in Gen 6).

4th Gen still has a decent amount of move tutor exclusives (like Ancient Power, Sucker Punch, Defog, Whirlpool, and maybe Vacuum Wave) so there's still a good amount of stuff still worth RNGing there, not to mention the obvios 3rd Gen stuff and maybe some Entralink exclusives.

Another reason to do Shedninja (3rd or 4th gen) is for Sword Dance. Though you really only have to have perfect Attack and Speed.
