Moves
========
  • Ice Beam is your STAB move, and it hards the majority of Pokemon in the tier hard thanks to Glaceon's amazing Special Attack and Choice Specs. The fact that Lickilicky and Audino are both cleanly 2HKOed after Stealth Rock damage is indicative of Glaceon's power.
  • Hidden Power Ground has great coverage with Ice Beam and it hits the Fire-types and Steel-types that resist your STAB.
  • Shadow Ball is a coverage attack for hitting Pokemon such as Jynx, Grumpig and Musharna for super effective damage.
  • Baton Pass lets Glaceon flee from opponents that would counter it.
  • Toxic is an option in the last moveslot to allow Glaceon to cripple Water-types, Grumpig, Hariyama, and special walls.
Set Details
========
  • Special Attack and Speed EVs are maxed out so that Glaceon inflicts as much damage and outspeeds as many opponents as possible.
  • A Modest nature ups Glaceon's damage output, and a Timid nature doesn't help Glaceon outspeed anything too notable.
  • Choice Specs capitalizes on Glaceon's brilliant Special Attack and poor movepool, turning it into a mighty wallbreaker.
  • Glaceon's abilities are both pretty useless; it is largely irrelevant whether you opt for Ice Body or Snow Cloak as neither has a major advantage over the other.
Usage Tips
========
  • Glaceon should be using Ice Beam most of the time; its other coverage options are best used if you predict a switch-in from something resisting Ice Beam. Glaceon is free to spam Ice Beam if the opponent has no Pokemon that resist it left. Hidden Power Ground should be used if your opponent has a Pokémon such as Probopass or Typhlosion that they may try to switch in on Glaceon, whereas Shadow Ball is a safe option that hits most foes that resist Ice for neutral damage that can be used if you're unsure what Pokémon your opponent might switch in, and can nail the likes of Jynx and Grumpig, which resist Ice Beam, on the switch in.
  • Glaceon should aim to dispatch walls that would trouble its allies, and allow them to clean up afterwards.
Team Options
========
  • Glaceon is capable of functioning well on offensive teams thanks to its wallbreaking power.
  • Fighting-types such as Sawk and Gurdurr make for good teammates, as they can dispose of Steel- and Ice-types.
  • Water-types such as Carracosta and Kabutops can switch in and deal with the Fire-types that Glaceon despises.
  • As Glaceon is a wallbreaker, it should be paired with Pokemon that need walls removed in order to sweep or do some late-game cleaning. Examples of such Pokemon are Ludicolo and Choice Scarf variants of Primeape.
  • A Rapid Spinner is useful for clearing the field of Stealth Rock, as it eats a hefty chunk of Glaceon's HP away when it switches, which it may need to do a lot given the nature of this set. Kabutops and Sandslash are some examples of spinners.
  • Sticky Web support allows Glaceon to outpace many foes that it normally couldn't. Examples of allies that can provide this support are Ariados and Leavanny.
Other Options
########
  • Frost Breath lets Glaceon bypass Calm Mind boosts its opponent may have acquired.
  • Glaceon can try a Choice Scarf set to fix its Speed problems and function as a revenge killer, though Jynx is far superior in this role due to its to far higher Speed stat and access to Trick and Lovely Kiss to cripple opponents with.
  • Access to Roar, Wish, and Heal Bell are options for a defensively-inclined set., though Glaceon's awful defensive typing means that this role is best left to another Pokemon.
  • Blizzard can replace Ice Beam if an ally provides hail support, though in light of Glaceon's horribly barren movepool, Blizzard can be used without Hail support because Glaceon can afford to drop another move, such as Shadow Ball, and have an option more powerful than Ice Beam.
Checks and Counters
########
**Hariyama**: Thick Fat Hariyama is particularly problematic due to its type advantage over Glaceon, resistance to its STAB and neutrality to Glaceon's coverage moves. It can simply switch in on any of Glaceon's attacks and OHKO it with Close Combat.

**Bulky Ice Resists**: Pokemon that resist Ice-type attacks, such as Cryogonal, Piloswine and Regice, have the special bulk and resistance to Glaceon's STAB needed to tank the latter's assaults. The uncommon Lapras can also hassle Glaceon for similar reasons, and Grumpig's Thick Fat and good Special Defense allow it to take Ice Beams.

**Steel-types**: Steel-types such as Probopass and Klinklang can switch in on Glaceon thanks to their resistance to its STAB, but have to watch out for Hidden Power Ground. Klinklang can set up should it force Glaceon to switch, but unlike Probopass, it cannot take two Ice Beams.

**Faster Attackers**: Attackers that outspeed Glaceon generally tend to have moves that can exploit one of its many weaknesses. For example, the likes of Typhlosion, Pyroar, Primeape and Sawk.

**Fire-types**: Fire-types such as Typhlosion, Pyroar and Magmortar can come in on an Ice Beam, outspeed Glaceon and proceed to KO it with their STAB attacks. They must, however, be wary of Hidden Power Ground.

Overview
########

Glaceon shines as a powerful wallbreaker in NU thanks to its great offensive presence and decent bulk. However, numerous crippling flaws prevent Glaceon from reaching its true potential—its horrible defensive typing leaves it weak to common attacking types, such as Fire and Fighting, and it is outsped by many offensive threats. Finally, it suffers from a small coverage movepool and faces heavy competition for a team slot from Jynx, which boasts higher Speed and a larger movepool.

Choice Specs

move 2: Hidden Power Ground
move 3: Shadow Ball
move 4: Baton Pass
ability: Ice Body

evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
nature: Modest

Moves
========

Ice Beam is Glaceon's STAB move and hits the majority of the tier hard thanks to Glaceon's amazing Special Attack and Choice Specs. The fact that Lickilicky and Audino are both cleanly 2HKOed after Stealth Rock damage is indicative of Glaceon's power with Choice Specs. Hidden Power Ground has great coverage with Ice Beam and hits the Fire- and Steel-types that resist Ice Beam. Shadow Ball is a coverage attack for hitting Pokemon such as Jynx, Grumpig, and Musharna super effectively. Baton Pass lets Glaceon flee from foes that counter it. Toxic is an option in the last moveslot that allows Glaceon to cripple Water-types, Grumpig, Hariyama, and special walls.

Set Details
========

Special Attack and Speed are maxed out so Glaceon inflicts as much damage and outspeeds as many opponents as possible. A Modest nature ups Glaceon's damage output, and Glaceon can afford to run it because a Timid nature doesn't let Glaceon outspeed anything too notable. Choice Specs capitalizes on Glaceon's brilliant Special Attack and poor movepool, turning it into a mighty wallbreaker. Glaceon's abilities are both pretty useless; it is largely irrelevant whether you opt for Ice Body or Snow Cloak, as neither has a major advantage over the other.

Usage Tips
========

Glaceon should be using Ice Beam most of the time; its other coverage options are best used if you predict something that resists Ice Beam to switch in. Glaceon is free to spam Ice Beam if the opponent has no Pokemon that resists it left. Hidden Power Ground should be used if your opponent has a Pokemon that might try to switch into Glaceon, such as Probopass or Typhlosion, whereas Shadow Ball is a safe option that hits most foes that resist Ice for neutral damage. Shadow Ball can also be used if you're unsure what Pokemon your opponent might switch to and can nail the likes of Jynx and Grumpig, which resist Ice Beam, on the switch. Glaceon should aim to dispatch walls that would trouble its teammates, allowing them to clean up afterwards.

Team Options
========

Glaceon is capable of functioning well on offensive teams thanks to its wallbreaking power. Fighting-types such as Sawk and Gurdurr make for good teammates, as they can dispose of Steel- and Ice-types. Water-types such as Carracosta and Kabutops can switch into and deal with the Fire-types that Glaceon despises. As Glaceon is a wallbreaker, it should be paired with Pokemon that need walls removed in order to sweep or do some late-game cleaning, such as Ludicolo and Choice Scarf Rotom. Spinners such as Kabutops and Sandslash are useful for clearing Stealth Rock from your side of the field, as the hazard eats a hefty chunk of Glaceon's HP away when it switches in, which it may need to do a lot given the nature of this set. Sticky Web support allows Glaceon to outpace many foes that it normally couldn't, and it can be provided by Pokemon such as Ariados and Leavanny.

Other Options
########

Glaceon's shallow movepool means that there are not many other viable options for it. Frost Breath lets Glaceon bypass Special Defense boosts its opponent may have acquired. Glaceon can try using a Choice Scarf to fix its Speed problems and function as a revenge killer, though Jynx is far superior in this role due to its far higher Speed stat and access to Trick and Lovely Kiss to cripple opponents with. Roar, Wish, and Heal Bell are options for a defensively inclined set, though Glaceon's awful defensive typing means that this role is best left to another Pokemon. Finally, Blizzard can replace Ice Beam if a teammate provides hail support, though in light of Glaceon's horribly barren movepool, Blizzard can be used without hail support because Glaceon can afford to drop another move, such as Shadow Ball, to have an option more powerful than Ice Beam.

Checks and Counters
########

**Thick Fat Pokemon**: Thick Fat Hariyama is particularly problematic due to its type advantage over Glaceon, resistance to its STAB, and neutrality to Glaceon's coverage moves. It can simply switch into any of Glaceon's attacks and OHKO it with Close Combat. Grumpig can also handle Glaceon well thanks to Thick Fat, but doesn't enjoy taking two Choice Specs Shadow Balls. It can use the fact that Glaceon will need to use Shadow Ball to hurt it though, forcing Glaceon to predict and risking locking itself in the wrong move.

**Bulky Pokemon that Resist Ice**: Pokemon that resist Ice-type attacks, such as Cryogonal, Piloswine, and Regice, have the special bulk and resistance to Glaceon's STAB needed to tank its assaults. The uncommon Lapras can also hassle Glaceon for similar reasons.

**Steel-types**: Steel-types such as Probopass and Klinklang can switch in on Glaceon thanks to their resistance to its STAB, but they have to watch out for Hidden Power Ground. Klinklang can set up should it force Glaceon to switch, but unlike Probopass, it cannot take two Ice Beams.

**Faster Attackers**: Attackers that outspeed Glaceon tend to have moves that can exploit one of its many weaknesses. For example, Typhlosion, Pyroar, Primeape, and Sawk all have moves to send Glaceon packing.

**Fire-types**: Fire-types such as Typhlosion, Pyroar, and Magmortar can come in on an Ice Beam, outspeed Glaceon, and proceed to KO it with their STAB attacks. They must be wary of switching in, however, as Glaceon runs Hidden Power Ground to deal with them.

Cryogonal is another Pokemon that can wall Glaceon. In fact, make a "Bulky Ice-types section" which includes Cryogonal and Regice, with a small mention of Lapras.

Your C&C section needs fixing up; why do you mention only Fighting-types and not, say, Steel-types which actually resist Ice Beam (you didn't even mention Thick Fat Hariyama)? Single Pokemon are only mentioned if they have a unique way of checking/countering the Pokemon in question (ex: Xatu/Probopass against Ferroseed), which Barbaracle and Regice are clearly not.

Are those really the extent of what causes Glaceon problems? Take into account all of Glaceon's flaws that make it easier to handle, such as its hazard weakness and low Speed, and mention Pokemon that can hassle it in those ways.

Added the "Bulky Ice-types" section in C&C, mentioned Thick Fat Hariyama under "Fighting-types", removed mention of Barbaracle, added a "Steel-types" section and a "Faster Attackers" section, Punchshroom.

Ferroseed actually doesn't fare well against Glaceon. Mention an Ice-resistant Steel-type such as Pawniard and Probopass, although touch upon the Ground weakness for the latter.

Ferroseed was a slip-up on my part, idk why I accidentally put it (It doesn't even resist Ice). Replaced mentions of it with Probopass and touched upon its Ground weakness.

Not entirely sure if Baton Pass is worth the first or even A slash, most of its. counters outspeed it and hit Glaceon before it can BP.

Hail support might be worth a mention in Team Options, as it provides little recovery like you mentioned. Not sure about this

Hail could also be placed in OO (dont think this is good though)
Heal Bell in OO
IMO remove Hyper Voice, terrible coverage and cant do a lot either, you can just force the opponent out by using Roar, mention that instead

in C&C, make the section Specially Defensive Ice-types IMO; all of the pokes you mentioned are specially defensive based, and Cryogonal literally dies to any physical attack.
you mention Probopass must be aware of HP ground, however, HP ground has 68.8% chance to OHKO Klinklang so it must be aware of that too, mention that IMO. mention HP ground both at the fire types and the steel types section(they can't risk to switch in that)

(not QC, just my thoughts, feel free to ignore.)

Ty for the suggestions Soulblaster! :]
Removed Hyper Voice from OO and added Heal Bell and Roar to OO, though personally, I don't feel that Hail support is too worthwhile, and Glaceon definitely doesn't want to spend a turn summoning the Hail itself.

Done the above.
With regards to Baton Pass in the fourth moveslot, I'll keep it just to be on the safe side and see what QC have to say about it.

Yeah, hail is an option, however, after, its better coins by other bulkier stuff or smth

Remove Signal Beam. Shadow Ball provides better 'coverage' <- Glaceon only really needs Ice Beam and Hidden Power Ground, so make sure to talk about what Shadow Ball is for in Move Details (Jynx, Grumpig, etc).

Keep Baton Pass. Glaceon doesn't really need its 4th move, and a slow Baton Pass is never bad.

Mention Toxic in Moves to cripple Water-types, Grumpig, Hariyama, and Specially Defensive Walls. Put Frost Breath in Moves too, remove the slash.

Hidden Power Fighting is meh. Hidden Power Ground has better coverage and also OHKO Pawniard (IDK why you said it does less when: 252+ SpA Choice Specs Glaceon Hidden Power Ground vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Eviolite Pawniard: 294-346 (127.2 - 149.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO). Remove it from OO.

Don't name the Ice-types in C&C 'Specially Defensive'. Where is Piloswine?? Mention Cryogonal, Piloswine, Regice.

In Set Details, I don't think you should even talk about Ice Body much; just talk about how its two ability are useless and that they don't have any advantages over eachother.

Your overview also has a lot of unnecessary fluff, you might want to remove it.

Usage Tips needs some work too. the second bullet is wrong; it rly sounds like Glaceon NEEDS Stealth Rock removal, which is false. It can easily work without it vs slower teams, where it shines. And who cares if it doesn't really have good resists.. with its bulk its kinda hard to OHKO it without a super effective attack, even with Stealth Rock or Spikes up.

Team Options needs some work.

C&C needs more exemple, especially in Fire-types.

In Moves, just say that HP Ground has great coverage with Ice Beam. It doesn't technically have perfect neutral coverage, even in NU (see: Cryogonal, Rotom-F).

Cut the Frost Breath shoutout in Moves. It should really just be in OO.

Might as well say in Set Details that Ice Body is minutely better than Snow Cloak because the only time it will be relevant is against Hail teams, where Glaceon will be a decent switch into Blizzards and shit and will appreciate the recovery. I'd say Snow Cloak could troll Focus Blast Jynx, but Psyshock probably does a ton anyways.

Mention Sticky Web support in Team Options.

When you talk about Scarf in OO, mention that Jynx is also better because it has far better Speed. Also mention that Blizzard can be used without hail support because Glaceon's movepool is so trash that it can afford to drop another move and have a more powerful option than Ice Beam.

For Bulky Ice-types in Checks and Counters, just switch it to Bulky Ice Resists. Hariyama can be moved here. Cut Fighting-types because the only one that will want to switch in is mentioned elsewhere, and you mention Sawk and Primeape in Faster Pokemon already anyways.

Everything else looks fine, and most of these things are minor, so 1/3 Psywaves

You don't need to specifically mention advantages between Glaceon's ability, it's too irrelevant either way

"Use Baton Pass in order to scout a counter or to flee from a sticky situation if possible, though obviously be wary about using it should Glaceon have had a volatile status condition such as confusion inflicted on it."

I don't think it's worth specifically pointing this out, Baton Pass is rarely used on this set anyway

Also most offensive Ice resists like Pyroar and Klinklang are 2HKOed by Ice Beam so I would point out they don't exactly switch in comfortably

UT only has two lines right now saying that it should spam Ice Beam and then coverage moves predicting the switch in and then how it can function on offensive teams. You dont really give any specifics of what it should spam Ice Beam against and what Pokemon to predict switching in for coverage moves. Also I feel like saying it can function on offensive teams is more of a TO point. I feel like this section needs some work before I can sign off on this, once you've updated UT tag me back.

Banned deucer.
Steel-types checks and counters is written very awkwardly. I'd do it more like

Steels can switch in, but have to watch out for hp ground, kling can set up but unlike probo cant take 2 beams. (You say the last part nicely already with 'unlike probo' keep that. Also probo doesn't really fear hp ground more than other steels considering everything dies anyhow.

In OO: roar/wish/heal bell should all be mentioned basically as used in some theoretical defensive set imo(roar slashed with heal bell), but then mention said set sucks.

In oo, i assume blizzard>shadow ball? So yea mention that.

Faster mons checks and counters, take out the fire types

Mention grumpig in ice resists?

what happened to fire types in C&C also Hariyama should probably be in there seeing as its the premier check to ice types and can KO with CC (specific mention)

Tbh, I think that Grumpig and Hariyama should be put together under a "Thick Fat" section in C&C, but be sure to stress that Hariyama is a better check as it can threaten out with CC or whatever, while Grumpig does a better job of sponging up hits while is more passive.
Grumpig isn't really relevant in NU and doesn't really to do to much back to it

Glaceon's shallow movepool means that there are not many other viable options for it. Frost Breath lets Glaceon bypass Calm Mind boosts its opponent may have acquired. Glaceon can try using a Choice Scarf set to fix its Speed problems and function as a revenge killer, though Jynx is far superior in this role due to its to far higher Speed stat and access to Trick and Lovely Kiss to cripple opponents with. Access to Roar, Wish, and Heal Bell are options for a defensively-inclined (remove hyphen) set, though Glaceon's awful defensive typing means that this role is best left to another Pokemon. Finally, Blizzard can replace Ice Beam if an ally teammate provides hail support, though in light of Glaceon's horribly barren movepool, Blizzard can be used without hail support because Glaceon can afford to drop another move, such as Shadow Ball, and to have an option more powerful than Ice Beam.

Checks and Counters
########
(add empty line)
**Foes With Thick Fat Foes**: Thick Fat Hariyama is particularly problematic due to its type advantage over Glaceon, resistance to its STAB, (AC) and neutrality to Glaceon's coverage moves. It can simply switch in on any of Glaceon's attacks and OHKO it with Close Combat. In a similar vein, Grumpig's good special bulk in combination with Thick Fat means that it can easily sponge Ice Beams from Glaceon.

**Bulky Pokemon that Resist Ice Resists**: Pokemon that resist Ice-type attacks, such as Cryogonal, Piloswine and Regice, have the special bulk and resistance to Glaceon's STAB needed to tank the latter's its assaults. The uncommon Lapras can also hassle Glaceon for similar reasons.

**Steel-types**: Steel-types, (AC) such as Probopass and Klinklang, (AC) can switch in on Glaceon thanks to their resistance to its STAB (RC) but have to watch out for Hidden Power Ground. Klinklang can set up should it force Glaceon to switch, (RC) but, (AC) unlike Probopass, it cannot take two Ice Beams.

**Faster Attackers**: Attackers that outspeed Glaceon generally tend to have moves that can exploit one of its many weaknesses. For example, the likes of Typhlosion, Pyroar, Primeape, (AC) and Sawk all have moves to send Glaceon packing.

**Fire-types**: Fire-types, (AC) such as Typhlosion, Pyroar and Magmortar, (AC) can come in on an Ice Beam, outspeed Glaceon, (AC) and proceed to KO it with their STAB attacks. They must, however, be wary of switching in, (AC) due to as Glaceon runnings Hidden Power Ground to deal with them.[/quote]
