Evolution
Introduction:You know how on cartridge Pokemon games you get a joy in evolving your Pokemon? How all your hard work really does pay off? Well, this tournament has the same basis! You will you will have to create an OU team that is a team of six NFE Pokemon, somehow, some way. Then, at the end of each round, if you win, you have the chance to evolve one Pokemon into its next form. If you lose, you'll have to go without evolving one more time, as this will be a single elimination tournament.
Tournament Specific Rules:
- This is an OU Tournament.
- This will be a double elimination tournament.
- This tournament must be played on Pokemon Showdown!
- All people will use a team of basic Pokemon their first round.
- All Pokemon are to be set at Level 100.
- Pokemon that do not have evolutions are banned. (Honedge is also banned by extension)
"What about Pokemon that only have one evolution?"
Well, if you get one of these, for example if you get a Scyther, you have to win two battles to evolve them. If you still don't get it, say you start with an Onix. You have to win two battles before you can decide to evolve it. And just to make this clear: These Pokemon are only eligible to evolve after Round Two, but after this they are free to evolve any round you win. Also, if you have two single stage Pokemon, you have to win two more battles after evolving one. If you're still confused, please VM me."What about Mega Evolutions?"
There is no rule against Mega Evolutions, for example, if you get a Bulbasaur, then evolve it into Ivysaur, then finally Venusaur, you can equip Venusaurite at any time once at Venusaur, you do not have to 'evolve' it again to gain the Mega Stone.After you win please say which Pokemon you are evolving so I can keep track!
