Overview

  • + Threatening special wall in the PU metagame
  • + Good Movepool
  • + Effective Spinblocker
  • + Faster than most other walls
  • + Immune to fighting and normal
  • - No access to night shade/seismic toss for reliable damage, shadow ball is pretty underwhelming.
  • - Weak to knock off

Moves
========
  • Will-o-wisp can burn many of the common leads
  • Pain Split unreliable but recovery worth using.
  • Taunt strong with base 85 speed
  • Heal Bell is also an option: having heal bell on your team can be incredibly relevant in this tier
  • Shadow ball is most reliable STAB move
  • Foul Play can hit physical mons hard

Set Details
========
  • These EVs + eviolite maximise Misdreavus's special bulk
  • Levitate is nice to avoid spikes and tspikes when switching in.

Usage Tips
========
  • Misdreavus can lead against slow leads
  • If used as lead, taunting Stealth Rock and then burning their lead/switch in is pretty effective.
  • Knock off extremely threatening to missy. Without eviolite missy is far less bulky even if it survives the knock off.
  • Strong special wall, spinblocker, and wallbreaker
  • Can cripple many of the physical threats in the tier
  • Will-O-Wisp must be used carefully when the enemy has fire types/Throh

Team Options
========
  • Pairs great with a strong physical wall such as Avalugg, Tangela, or Carracosta.
  • Very nice utility, comparable to Togetic in what it does for a team but has a different typing and no access to defog.
  • Fits in great with a team that relies on entry hazards as it counters avalugg and wartortle

Perish Song Survival [Gonna Experiment with this a bit, sounds kinda troll]

Moves
========
  • Mean look traps switch in.
  • Perish song puts the trapped poke on a 3 turn clock
  • Heal bell and pain split keep you alive and status free

Set Details
========

  • Max defense to surprise any expected counters such as throh

Usage Tips
========

  • After trapping and surviving until the perish count is 1, you can freely switch and kill

Team Options
========

  • Pairs great with a strong physical wall such as Avalugg, Tangela, or Carracosta.

Other Options
########
  • Access to Calm Mind, Magic Coat, Nasty Plot, Memento, Trick, Rain Dance, Sunny Day, Thunder Wave, and Trick Room.
  • Misdreavus could potentially pull off a CM/Nasty Plot set or be a weather setter.


Checks & Counters
########

**Throh, Rapidash, Camerupt, Pelipper** - These are good counters to Misdreavus as they can freely switch in to will-o-wisp and then punish Misdreavus with knock off/flare blitz/lava plume/scald

**Knock off users** - These guys check misdreavus. They can't switch in, but the threat of knock off stops misdreavus from being a switch in.

**Faster Taunt users** Misdreavus becomes useless when taunted by a faster taunt user, such as Vigoroth.

**Magic Coat** Bastiodon and Leavanny can sometimes use magic coat to bounce your taunt.

**Dark moves** Misdreavus gets 2hkoed by many dark type moves on physical sweepers. If misdreavus finds itself at sub-optimal health these moves can check Misdreavus well.

**Lickilicky** I feel this guy should be mentioned as Lickilicky is immune to taunt, and then can knock off/toxic missy and heal bell the burns you've inflicted on their team.

You need to put a tag next to the title, like WIP or Quality Control so people know what stage this is in.

[Overview]
Mention that its a good stallbreaker
Not sure how not having access to NightShade or S-Toss is a minus

[Set]
Name should probably be Specially Defensive
Make sure to have spaces between your slashes, this is a small thing but its required. Ex: Taunt / Heal Bell
Willo just seems to good to me to even offer the option of Toxic, I think that should be removed to a mention in moves

[Moves]
Your move order is a little messed up, make sure to mention them in the correct order, once again small thing but needs to be done

[Set Details]
Why are you mentioning Will-O-Wisp here? That gets a mention in moves.
Instead mention its ability and item

[Usage Tips]
Your usage tips have a lot of the general idea behind it but you need to be more specific, for instance instead of saying that it can mess up a lot teams early tell the reader how to mess up a lot of teams early. This needs to be done for all of the points.

[Team Options]
Your team options is really barren atm, it needs to be filled out as missy can fit on lots of teams.

[Perish Song]
I dont think this warrants a set but wait on the QC team before removing
If this does stay you will need to have more than a single bullet point for each section

[Other Options]
Dont say you didnt mention x y and z because you are mentioning them in oo, instead just list them in bullet point form

[C&C]
This section needs some work as well, atm you have a bunch of different pokemon lumped into a category, what exactly is that category.
For instance: **Sneasel and other strong knock off users** can be condensed down into **Knock Off** as Sneasel shouldnt get a special mention as it dislikes getting burned
Lava Plume and Scald arent really checks or counters remove this
Condense **Dark moves on faster physical sweepers** to **Dark-type Moves**
Add in Taunt as a faster taunt shuts missy down.

Working on these changes, thanks a bunch for your input. What is the correct move order? this is my first time doing one of these.
The correct move order goes in the order you listed them on the set, for instances you mention Will-O-Wisp first that should be the first bullet point in moves and so on and so forth. And no problem, everyone has to start somewhere so dont get discouraged if you have to change a lot ^.^
 
np should definitely get a main set, as one of misdreavus's biggest niches is as an offensive spinblocker that hits hard and isn't as absurdly frail as haunter is.
