The Veto Tournament​

Introduction:

In this tournament the players will receive a ballot of 5 random tiers. Players will trade eliminations of 4 of the tiers and play the 5th remaining tier.

For example: the tiers given are GSC OU / XY Ubers / XY LC / BW OU / DPP OU

Player 1 eliminates GSC OU
Player 2 eliminates XY LC and BW OU
Player 1 eliminates XY Ubers
The Players will play DPP OU

The tiers that will be drawn will be as followed:

Standard Clauses (may not apply to all tiers, know the rules!):

• Endless Battle Clause: Players cannot use any moveset on any Pokémon capable of intentionally causing an endless battle. Thus:
  • A Pokémon may not carry Recycle and hold a Leppa Berry in conjunction with Heal Pulse and Milk Drink, Moonlight,Morning Sun, Recover, Roost, Slack Off, Soft-Boiled, or Wish.
  • A Pokémon may not hold a Leppa Berry while carrying Recycle and Pain Split.
  • A Pokémon may not hold a Leppa Berry while carrying Recycle and Fling.
• Evasion Clause: Players cannot use the moves Double Team or or Minimize.
• Moody Clause: Players cannot use a Pokémon with the Moody ability.
• OHKO Clause: Players cannot use the moves Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, or Sheer Cold.
• Sleep Clause: Players cannot induce sleep to more than one Pokémon on the opposing team at the same time.
• Species Clause: Players cannot have two Pokémon with the same Pokédex number on the same team.
• Swagger Clause: Players cannot use the move Swagger.
• Baton Pass Clause: Players cannot have more than one Pokémon with the move Baton Pass.

Also just so the thread doesn't become ridiculously cluttered, you can just post what tier has been chosen to play rather than every time you've eliminated something, just a small thing but it makes my life a bit easier. This should also be done in the first day or so to give each other the maximum amount of time to get the game done.

Yeah older gens (Pre DPP) should be played on PO, but judging by the average playerbase most of them are newer players and will eliminate older gens so there shouldn't be too many problems in this regard. And all the players who are likely to pick old gens, BKC, you, Mizu all have access to PO so hopefully there aren't major issues :]
