but to be Honest, what da hell can tank a +2 Iron head after rocks?, at least Mienfoo(the evs spread from King Midas),gunk and timburr cant do it reliable

Yagura, that is the hardest mons to counter in the hole meta lol, as that set breaks most of its own checks like Chinchou, So I think the best way of counter it is with a bulk normal as it abuse its special attack so I will be posting my most used that is Licki with a more spdef spread

This is my usual go-to fire counter if I find myself weak to fire-types. Reason I go to Ponyta over chinchou or tirtouga is because of the sunnybeam set. Double status ponyta wrecks all fire-types and opposing ponyta is no different, it can just toxic it and morning sun.

I figured an attacking stealthrock Tyrunt that doubles for a fletch check was more acceptable than DD or scarf. The only obvious problem besides questionable viability is the risk of burn from willo wisp or a fireblast/flareblitz.

Basically you can always switch in a healthy tyrunt, but burn is a problem. Numel is an easy switch into ponyta and can earth power/curse while not risking burn, but that's even more unmentionable than Tyrunt. Ponyta/munchlax look pretty solid but I wanted to post somethin ; /

even spD hippo isnt too good of a check to sunny day pony because if it sunny days on the switch its vulnerable to SolarBeam/sun-boosted Fire Blast

If i run Taunt over DBond will that save me? Or should i just say fuck it I lost?
afaik, sunny day when you switch in, then solarbeam as you taunt for safety, then solarbeam twice => KOes with LO damage and you can't KO it in two hits

Cloud Nine automatically nullifies the sun boost to Fire Blast as well as its nerf to Scald. It also causes Solar Beam to have to charge even while sun is up, meaning that Psyduck gets a free turn while Solar Beam is powering up and then it can use Protect on the damaging turn to totally avoid damage. Calm Mind lets Psyduck not only beat Ponyta, but set up on it as well, and HP Grass is mainly a filler move for hitting other Water-types after having set up on Ponyta, especially Chinchou.
