Hey guys, I decided to write up this post because I have seen a few posts from people specifically asking about more information for the CaP Prevo Pokemon. I'll collate as much information as I can in this thread, and if there is anything missing you guys are free to let me know and I will update accordingly!

As our Prevo project has evolved, we have created a whole new bunch of little critters that deserve their own place to have all their information placed down. DougJustDoug created the main EnCAPlopedia with this in mind, linking to their Smogon pages and analysis write ups (This can be found here). Whilst we will not have analysis' and the like here, I still wanted to have a concrete place to put down all the information on the various Prevo CaPs which have been completed (And those which have not). This is an ongoing project, and some of the Gen 4 Pokemon are not yet complete. Thankyou to everyone who has made this "mini project" such a huge success and congrats to everyone who has a little bit of something in each of these Pokemon; be it Art, Stats, Moves or Pokedex Entries.

Without further ado, I present the Gen 4 Prevos!

Ok so the rest of the Gen 4 CaP Prevos are in various states of completion. I presume we will be working on these during the early era of Gen 6 and maybe beyond that. Everything in the HIDE tag below is everything else we have on the Prevo's. As this information is made concrete and each Prevo goes through the process, I will update and add to this post to make them truly official. You can also find the original post of the Hide tag Here.

Rebble & Boulderdash (?)

Images

http://www.smogon.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1594710&postcount=11

Seems to be all I can find on these two little critters. Just the single image. The rest is from the sprites below, but I would assume they also have the single Rock typing that Stratagem has.

Privatyke

This is literally the only thing I could find for Privatyke. I assume Cartoons! Might have some sketches somewhere but where I have no idea.

Nohface

Nohface’s design was voted by the community in this thread: http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3457785

Monohm and Duohm (Duclohm)

I have seen many different spelling of Duohm's name. I am certain at some point it has been corrupted and broken down and now there are several variants of the name in use.

http://www.smogon.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1961089&postcount=126

Mix of CyberZero and Kensinkae’s work came out to be the prevo designs for Cyclohm.

These two sprites are from Wyverii’s CaPmon sprite revamping thread, no idea if they are up to date, but they are certainly nicely done.

Colosshale

Cartoons! Again came up with this sprite for Collosoil’s prevo. I believe the typing is supposed to be Dark/Water or something similar, there are also a fair few arguments for “Yellow Submarines” to be used as shiny sprites!

http://www.smogon.com/forums/group.php?&do=discuss&groupid=19&discussionid=&gmid=1311#gmessage1311 seems to have been a fair amount of discussion here. There are some suggestions for stats spreads and artwork for 2 prevo’s, I have no idea when it was decided to be just one. I can't seem to find any evidence as to when it was decided that one prevo would be all Collosoil gets.

Krillowatt’s prevo

As far as I am aware, there are *many* different sprites/designs and names having been put forward for this particular line. I do not think *anything* has been super defined and voted on for a solid design. Many of the designs and names are in Wyverii’s Sprite update thread.

This is the image that Wyverii has, but I do not know if this is 100% official or not. Protowatt, Attowatt, Plicowatt etc have all been suggested as names.

EDIT: http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3456401 found a name/design poll but the winning poll option art link is dead...

HEAL EDIT: Wyverrii seems to confirm the above post is indeed official.

Voodoll

I assume Doug may have some other artwork around. I can't find much past this sprite which was done my Sgt.Woodsy.

EDIT: Thanks Menshay, good find on the Voodoll artwork!

Breezi is more of a wind-elemental, but not an actual flier, hence the parachute-like substance. Also, they are harvestmen with vaguely mammalian traits, not spiders.

The mods may already know, but Volkritter hasn't been added at the time of posting this. Are you waiting until CAP 19's Prevo count is decided?

how do I create my own pokemon
We don't allow people to show off their own Pokemon here; instead, we collaborate on making them through a community effort. The CAP Project allows us to gain perspective on competitive battling, while the Pre-Evo Project is flavour-based.

We're just wrapping up CAP 19 now, and I'm pretty sure the poll on whether or not to make a Pre-Evolution will be coming up in the near future, so stick around if you're interested. :)

I believe the description 'Legendary bug' is just a title (since Aurumoth was very OP at the time of its release), and it ended up morphing into a pseudo-legendary at any rate. Its stated concept was supposed to be a "high risk, high reward" Pokemon, but it didn't exactly live up to the 'risk' part.

I would like to know the same as that garchomp guy. I just want to be able to make my own sprite, cause I've always wanted to do that :P

I imagine the OP just hasn't been updated, I am sure it will in time. If you want to check out Snugglow or Volkritter, you can try out the Final Product posts within this forum.

Yeah...

I'll probably update the OP tonight and see if i can find the other sprites that have vanished too :)

You can probably find the regular front sprites on Smogon CAP's TV Tropes character page. Not sure about the rest, though.

After over 2 years, I finally updated the OP.

EDIT: I also fixed the dead image links for the sprites of Scratchet, Breezi, and Flarelm by patching them up with my previously saved files.

Wait what levels do Floatoy and Caimanoe evolve. I'm making a ROM hack with islands that represent each region and include CAPmons. Just need to know. Thanks!

Level 21 and 40, respectively. You're allowed to use CAPmons in your ROM hacks/fan games but ONLY if you give credit to Smogon CAP and keep all of the products truthful to how they were created here (i.e. don't give mons moves they don't know, don't inflate or change base stats, etc).
