Facing a team of spooks, Fantine the Kitsunoh knows all too well that their Colossoil, Kujira, will be a deadly force against his own kind. So using one of his masks, Fantine took over the consciousness of Timmy the Gallade, making him the bait for the attacks of Kujira and Sune the Mega-Gardevoir. But Timmy's shimmering Protective barrier didn't fool Kujira, who spun and Drilled through Fantine in a powerful Run-through! But Fantine plays against the attack well, striking off Kujira's Enigma Berry with a critical Knock Off while Sune screams in Hyper Voice to rattle Timmy's barrier and damage Fantine. Somewhat.

Fantine quickly produces another mask, connecting the strengths between herself and Timmy by forcing the latter to use Helping Hand. Unfortunately, this really lets Timmy bear the brunt of Kujira's Bounce and Sune's Moonblast, before Fantine uses a...... Is that a Low Kick combo straight to Kujira's kidneys? Anyway, the precise combo causes Kujira's eyes to roll up - which is scary. Have you ever seen a Colossoil's eyes roll?!

Finally, Kujira overcame his pain and Bounced one more time, slamming into Timmy who was Taunting Sune at the time. This is where things start to go wrong for Team Jigsaw. You see, when Sune tries to use Hyper Voice again, she found that it was not possible - somehow, Fantine unconsciously disabled the attack when it hit her Cursed Body. So Sune changed tactics and emitted a pixellated Hyper Beam from her mouth, blasting Timmy out of his stupor, just before Kujira's attack connects.

So Timmy-Gallade recovers his consciousness only to lose it again, as Fantine watched him being promptly KO'ed, too exhausted to move. Sune might be sluggish, taunted and slightly crippled, and Kujira might not last another bout, but when Timmy is out of the fight in the first few exchanges, well, Team Jigsaw seems to be in a really tight spot.

This is probably one of the bloodiest tournament match seen by yours truly, as the second Mega-Evolved Pokemon takes the field in form of Galahad-Lucario. Starting off with a fast Iron Tail, Sir Galahad unravelled the curtain for what would be a brutal onslaught towards Sune, as Fantine followed up with 3 successive Iron-Force Strikes from the Shadows, which flinched Sune once and would've knocked her out had she not fortified herself boldly, even as Kujira's Protective shield is rendered non-existent.

Sune's sacrifice is not in vain, though, buying time for Kujira with an Icy Wind to evade Sir Galahad's proud charge with a Dig underground. As Galahad turned towards Sune, hoping to emulate her in an attempt to bring her down or woo her (can't tell which is which), out pops Kujira with a vengeance! That Mass Excavation left Team Jigsaw in a terrible state, although GENGAR GANG is faring no better with Kujira now more or less out of the fight. Luck may seem to favour Team Jigsaw a little when Sir Galahad is spared from being KO'ed, but GENGAR GANG still has 2 unknown members yet to join the fray, when Jigsaw is almost down to their last member...

Sorry Engi, but the "...(Lucario is not under the effects of Protective / Evasive Action)..." would be illegal since you cannot use a NOT in front of an Attack Clause. Weird ruling I know (you can circumvent it well enough by ordering Fake Out and using a KO sub), but I think it does prove Pwne's point in Policy that our current sub rules are wonky.

In such a dire situation, where each mon is at the verge of being OAKO'ed, it is vital to move first in battle, either to buy time or to strike hard. And Galahad does that off the bat - being the righteous warrior to put an opponent out of misery. Fantine on the other hand, played the flow of the battle by taking a break in the lull as she watched Galahad took the lead.
