I'm gonna keep the explanation short n' sweet. If you're having trouble building a team around something, this is the place to post. I and a few others will be putting our teambuilding capabilities on sale, building a team around your Pokemon / core. We'll then post the team with a brief explanation as to why we chose to use what we did and the team will then be placed in the post below this one.

Also, if we haven't gotten to your request yet, it's probably because a) we're busy because we have lives outside of Pokemon, b) we're working on other players' teams or c) you posted something really terrible that doesn't comply with the guidelines below.

Rules:

- Have a one paragraph description with the core you want us to build around and a slight idea of what kind of team you want the end result to be.
- Do not post asking us to make use of uncompetitive Pokemon. This is not a competition to see how good we are at team building; this is us trying to educate people on what is good and how to build effective teams.
- Do not flame people for asking for a certain Pokemon or that they can't build one themselves.
- Each user is allowed one request per week and any user found requesting multiple will have their post deleted
- Please remember that these teams are first drafts and as such will not be perfect. Edit them as you please.
- On that note, you are free (and highly encouraged) to suggest and post changes / critiques you've made to already posted teams that you feel improve them.
- Please refrain from posting teams unless you are an "employee," but if you feel that you would be a valuable asset to the construction of a certain team, PM me
- That being said, I will be recruiting people to help with this based on the number of teams being posted. I will approach the users I feel are qualified to help, so if you PM me asking to join the team, you will most likely be ignored.

I'd like to order one Hyper Offense team using Doduo and Chinchou, with a side of waffle fries and a medium shake. I've tried this core several times but its always seemed likes its missing something. I'd like to get some other point of views on it.

I'd like to order a team built around the unbreakable core of Defensive Snover and Special Carvanha. Snover sets up Hail, allowing Carvanha to have an 100% accurate Ice-type move to hit those pesky Grass-types switch ins. Hail is generally known as the worst weather, but I want to see what some uber pro MLG players can make out of it.

I would love to for a team to be built around Cranidos and Goth. Cranidos is quite able to smash holes in teams and potentially sweep with SD or Rock Polish (hell even both at once). This ability is amplified by Goth who is able to remove certain key threats from Cranidos's path of destruction. I imagine this would be a rather fun build, not quite to the degree of melon's, and would yield a decent team in the process.

These would both be unbelievably sexy teams. Build them now.

Anyway, I'd like to order a VoltTurn team built around Pancham and Gothita, two Pokemon that got pretty nice buffs from ORAS. I feel like VoltTurn has only gotten better with the new tutors, but I haven't seen many people using it as of late. I'm really bad at teambuilding, otherwise I'd build this myself. Pancham, now that it's viable, is really a boon to VoltTurn and it's slow enough to Parting Shot into the normally rather frail Gothita, who can then trap the weakened Pokemon and kill it or set up (it doesn't have to be CM Goth though, dw). VoltTurn is still one of the best team archetypes in this meta and I need a new team to ladder with and I want to see someone try to make use of the new tools available to it. Thanks a lot! :D

What a nice time to find this thread! Well i've been wanting to build a team around Duodo and Fletchling bird spam. Doduo and Fletchling are insane together, Doduo is an amazing wallbreaker that has Brave Bird, Return, and Knock Off to take down Bird Counters. It knocks off all flying counters, such as Magnemite, Archen, Chinchou, Tirtouga or any bulky Mon that wants to switch in. This just opens the door for Fletchling to sweep with a swords dance. And with Doduo you can just use it like a suicide wallbreaker, all it needs to do is weaken bird counters, because it can easily weaken them for Fletchling.

Alright so obviously the team is built around the Bulky Snover / Special Sweeper Carvanha core that Melonz posted. Snover's set is "standard" for the bulkier variant, with Hidden Power Fighting being really the only uncommon move. EVs let it hit 25 / 14 / 14 with Bold Nature. Carvanha is of course specially-oriented with a 100% accurate Blizzard (thanks to Snover) to hit Grass-types with. Timid lets it hit 17 Speed, allowing it to outspeed a majority of Pokemon to hit hard turn 1 or set up a Substitute quickly. Croagunk acts as the glue mon, checking opposing Fighting-types (and their priority moves), notably Pancham which is just straight annoying. The EVs and moveset are standard. Spritzee is standard outside of Thunderbolt, which lets it nab the 2HKO on Skrelp after Stealth Rock, a Pokemon that's getting more and more popular and can cause issues for this team. It also lets Spritzee check Fletchling with more success. Staryu is standard as well and is the main Drilbur check of the squad. It's sporting Psychic for opposing Croagunk and Skrelp. Pawniard is a bulkier Stealth Rock variant, as most of the team is nabbing its KOes after Stealth Rock and Pawniard is just a damn good Pokemon. No huge weaknesses outside of opposing Croagunk, but you really need either Gothita or three Vullaby to deal with that shit reliably. Ponyta is also quite annoying, but Staryu can generally beat it due to most Ponyta running 18 Speed nowadays. Fun af team regardless. Team effort by me, Yagura, and Corporal Levi.

Team based around Fiend Hound's idea. Rock Polish Cranidos is stupid powerful and smacks everything that doesn't resist all its coverage moves. Gothita traps Ferroseed, which is otherwise annoying as hell for Cranidos, and a bunch of other annoying shit thanks to its movepool. Drilbur provides hazards and removes hazards. Cottonee is solid utility, checking Ground and Water-types, and provides Memento support, letting Cranidos set up with relative ease. Ponyta is standard SunnyBeam, providing the team with a solid, fast, offensive Pokemon and another Chinchou check. Vullaby rounds off the squad, acting as a slow pivot in order to bring in Cranidos. Not too many glaring weaknesses, the only big one being Skrelp, as the team lacks a reliable switch-in; however, Gothita can come in and trap it, so it's not too huge an issue. zeriloa and I worked on this.

I'd like to see a team built around zig and goth/dig, as I haven't been seeing them a lot and don't know how I would build around it. I think, as zigzagoon has been seen less and less, it would be nice to make zig hyper offense more common, as when I do face it it is intimidating. The main problem I've been having in my attempts is pawn, so it will be interesting to see how that is dealt with

I'd like a team built around Timburr. Timburr is one of the better sweepers in the meta, and is really interesting as a fighting-type sweeper, since it can push past Fletchling and sweep. I'm not really concerned with what sort of team archetype it's on, but semi-stall or balance would be really cool. Thanks in advance!

So I decided to build bird spam for Jetpack. The doduo set is purely to lure out Fletchling counters. Steel wing is specifically for Archen while HP Fighting is for Pawniards and the rare Aron. Doduo can still live a Sucker Punch after Brave Birding a standard Pawniard. My favorite mon to use with birdspam is 12 speed Mienfoo. It checks rock types and steels for the birds and underspeeds other mienfoos for a free switch into Doduo or Fletchling while still outspeeding walls like Pumpkaboo. I'm using HJK so that it can beat Timburr without relying on getting hit by a Knock Off from it. Chinchou handles the other flying weaknesses in Ice and Electric. I decided to use Resttalk because it beats pretty much every other Chinchou set. Doduo gets worn down really fast and Fletchling appreciates spin support as well, so I wanted to add a spinner. Drilbur acts as a secondary check to the Steel and Rock types. It's EV'd to live a +2 Sucker Punch from Pawniard because slow mienfoo can struggle to check Pawniard if it has been knock off'd. I had a problem with strong special attackers in general as well as Archen and Drilbur so I added Ice Beam Porygon. The team does have a bit of a Gothita weakness and using Quick Attack Doduo helps to get the chip damage on it necessary for Fletching to be able to OHKO. Breaking defensive cores can sometimes be difficult and SD Drilbur could help with that. I hope the teams ok n_n

Obvious Power, I think Doduo, should have Return>steel wing. steel wing isn't all that great, as knock off already cripples Archen enough, and can deffo take down BJ archen in 2 hits, which is the most common set. Return means that Chinchou can't switch in very easily, very important for Fletchling.

I thought i'd share my double bird team with Fletch+Doduo. Porygon, provides a great switch in to Chinchou which is very important on birdspam, along with checking stuff like Gastly and Abra. Staryu is the spinner which is obviously needed and also makes a great rock+ground type switch-in. Croagunk is a fighting-type switch-in and runs EQ to beat opposing Gunk. Between Pory+Croagunk, Chinchou is completely shut down, which means the other 4 Pokemon which are countered by Chinchou have a much easier time. Magnemite is my 'glue' checking Flying types, and Smashers like Shellder and Omanyte which can easily set up on my birds.

On that note, Mambo, can you add me to the 'teambuilders' list, since I would be more than happy to help out with this project

EDIT: Praise Pokestadium for having the greatest sprites imo

Pancham @ Eviolite

So, I've been trying to make a Sticky Web team with these two slut balls cuties, but I am really bad at making Hyper Offensive teams. The EVs can be changed if you need them to be, but the basic thing here is I am running Skrlep and Pancham, so I need something that kills Croagunk, which will be seeing more usage in the wake of ORAS due to it being an even better "glue" mon, which is why Zen headbutt is used on SD Cham over Gunk Shot, also because Skrelp easily eliminates the Fairy-types of this tier. I made a team, but it looks really.... weird. (and the teams I make are generally Ponyta weak cuz fuck that bitch) Thanks :D

As requested by Kavatika, I decided to build a team around Timburr. Bulk Up is probably the easiest way for Timburr to sweep, so I decided to use a standard Bulk Up set, hitting 14 SpD to better take on a variety of Special attacks. Timburr has a tough time breaking through Fairy-types, which Ferroseed can check in addition to a myriad of other threats, including Chinchou and Omanyte. However, Ferroseed is thoroughly held back by a lack of recovery, so I included Spritzee to provide Wish support as well as acting as a switch-in to troublesome Fighting-types. This still leaves SD Fletchling as quite troublesome, which is where Porygon comes into play, forming a strong core with Spritzee that can check all sorts of threats through sheer bulk alone. Porygon and Ferroseed both also provide paralysis support to further help Timburr sweep. I chose Porygon because it can deal with Fletchdig and has its own recovery, allowing Spritzee to focus on keeping Ferroseed healthy. Of course, there are still several impediments to Timburr's sweep that have been unaccounted for so far, but most of these can be easily removed through the use of trapping. Gothita is able to trap and KO the likes of Croagunk, Mienfoo, Fletchling, Archen, and several others; the given EVs allow it to almost always survive Fletchling's Acrobatics after switching into Stealth Rock twice, and OHKO after Stealth Rock in return with Thunderbolt, while still outspeeding the unboosted metagame. Energy Ball takes out weakened Chinchou and Drilbur, while Trick is there to guarantee the removal of Spritzee's and Ponyta's Eviolites in particular, rendering them significantly easier to deal with for the rest of the team. Stunky gets rid of Gastly and Gothita with Pursuit while faring much better than Gothita against Abra; it can also provide Defog support if hazard stacking gets out of hand. Fire Blast 2HKOs Pawniard looking to absorb Defog, and the EVs are just standard bulky Stunky EVs, a serious nature being used for more total stat points.
Thanks to Eren Yeagar and Mambo for helping.

can someone build a team around scraggy pls? I prefer more offense/balanced than stall. i'm not good a teambuilding, and im a decent battler, so i would appreciate it if someone built a team for me. thanks

I would like a team made around screens Natu,Pawniard And Mienfoo,

Here's a team I threw together by request of Duncajuwon. It's main win condition is a Scarf Scraggy. I decided on Scarf Scraggy because I'm not really a fan of it's Dragon Dance sets, and if you can lock yourself into a move that can kill the rest of the enemy team's pokes, it's a free win. I then decided to use Ponyta because it checks other Fighting types, is immune to burns and resists Fairy moves, all of which scare Scraggy. Ponyta also hits hard with Flare Blitz and can heal off the recoil with Morning Sun. Onix was my next choice because I wanted a Stealth Rock user and something that counters Torchic. Onix also abuses Berry Juice and Sturdy, ensuring it at least gets Rocks up. However this left me with a massive hole where a Chinchou can blow through my team. So Dry Skin Croagunk was my next choice, absorbing Water moves and making an excellent check to many other flaws this team might have. As Croagunk is a mixed attacker, I am lacking on the Special side, so I used Focus Sash Abra next. This alleviates a few hard hitters and renders them useless. It's blazing fast speed and great coverage options allow Abra to hit hard and revenge kill if needed. Protect is to ensure the Sash stays active. Finally I threw Vullaby on the team because of the utility it gives with Defog, which Ponyta and Onix enjoy. It also uses Knock Off, which is the best move in LC.

I would like a team made around screens Natu,Pawniard And Mienfoo,
Team should be offensively oriented any maybe some hazards. Thanks in advance.
Natu simply is not viable enough currently to warrant a place on a serious competitive team. Pawniard and Mienfoo are both super viable though, so if you want to edit your post and change the core, that'd be fine.

I would love a team around zorua and honedge. Its a concept i have been thinking of for quite some time, but never really had the teambuilding skills to make it effective. I would prefer a balanced-offense team
Both of these Pokemon are kinda 'meh' in the metagame. One of them can fit onto a team rather well, but not both. Like above, you can edit your post to change one of the Pokemon and we'll happily accept your request.

Once Corporal Levi told us Slugma + Snover was a good core, I never made it work :( I Want to see the power of the core
Levi was trolling

Could I get a team around Double dance drilbur Drifloon+Burd? This was the only bird spam I could never get to actually work.
Pretty much Driffy is a grade A annoyer with knock off, Wisp and D-bond and then has Fletch/other bird pick up the remains.

I haven't played LC since pre-Missy ban, so I was wondering if I could have some help with a team centered around either Pancham (any offensive set) or Trick Room Inkay (not supportive Trick Room, more of a sweeping type).

Hello cool people running this thread, I have next to zero little cup experience but I made a team the other day which didnt look too bad. It was a team consisting of chinchou+ponyta. The only reason I put these mons together is because I've seen ponyta put in some work and it would seem like a fun and good mon. Chinchou looked like something that has good synergy with it, because it volt switches on grass types that then get destroyed by ponyta. Ponyta also has trouble with bulky waters so that is a thing chou takes care off. Next thing I did was add a fighting mon, because those are pretty cool. I was wondering how someone more experienced than me would build a team with ponyta/chou/fightmon, because I hope to get into LC a bit and it would be really interesting to see how it would turn out. If ponyta didnt make it clear, I'd like this to be a balance team, however without it being too defensive.

As requested by Infamy, I built a voltturn team around Gothita and Pancham. Both sets are pretty standard, with Gothita running its Choice Scarf set to trap Fighting-types, Foongus, and a few other things, and Pancham just running a bulky pivot set. Fletchling takes advantage of the set-up opportunities Parting Shot brings as well as the removal of Porygon's Eviolite and Archen, to attempt a sweep; U-Turn is to effectively pivot into Gothita, and Hidden Power Grass is necessary to prevent the team from being swept by Omanyte should it come in on Fletchling, although Overheat is an option to heavily damage Ferroseed and Pawniard if you feel that Magnemite is enough for Omanyte. Endure Magnemite acts as a safety net for the team, using the move to reliably take advantage of Sturdy so it can proceed to heavily damage an opposing Pokemon or gain momentum with Volt Switch, with Recycle allowing it to check key threats repeatedly. Of course, Magnemite and Fletchling still appreciate hazard removal, and any offensive team would like Stealth Rock support; Drilbur offers both while still maintaining good offensive presence on its own. Chinchou rounds off the team by providing another check for opposing Fletchling and Magnemite and serving as a good overall revenge-killer that doesn't lose momentum easily. This team is very offensive in nature, so expect to quite often be ditching the least important Pokemon in a given situation so Gothita can come in and trap. Thanks to zeriloa and Mambo for the help. Sorry I took so long, I've been busier recently
