somewhat standard but needs more attention:

Sceptile @ Sceptilite
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Outrage
- Leaf Blade
- Earthquake

SD Mega Sceptile is pretty scary once Bronzong has been taken care of, and it can find a lot of set up opportunities against Pokemon like Mola, Slowking, non-HP Ice Jolteon, Rotom-C, etc. and at +2 its pretty scary considering how strong Outrage is, and the fact that it's the fastest unboosted Pokemon in the tier. It works great with teammates that can take care of Bronzong (pursuit trappers etc).

Sceptile @ Sceptilite
Ability: Overgrow
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
- Endure
- Endeavor
- Giga Drain
- Dragon Pulse

At first, this set may seem a bit farfetched. However, it is extremely effective in practice. The idea behind this set is to endure some attack by an opponent you can easily faint otherwise, and then later in the match use Endeavor to cripple Pokemon such as Alomomola, who otherwise take a huge amount of time to beat. This allows you to absolutely crush stall and bulky offense, and deter setup and make Pokemon much more susceptible to priority. This also works well late-game when opponents are difficult to take down. Endeavor also allows you to use extremely bulky Pokemon who are at 1 HP as setup fodder, as you can easily beat them without having to struggle to take them down after boosting.

Sceptile @ Sceptilite
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Sunny Day
- Solar Beam
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Dragon Pulse

allows for powerful grass stab, powerful hp fire and can support other sun mons. Notably, this allows you to get past esca, amoonguss, doublade, bronzong and registeel without having to rely on focus blast.

252 SpA Mega Sceptile Solar Beam vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Assault Vest Slowking: 260-308 (66.1 - 78.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
252 SpA Mega Sceptile Solar Beam vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Aromatisse: 234-276 (57.6 - 67.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Mega Sceptile Hidden Power Fire vs. 174 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Escavalier in Sun: 276-328 (85.1 - 101.2%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
252 SpA Mega Sceptile Hidden Power Fire vs. 252 HP / 96 SpD Amoonguss in Sun: 230-272 (53.2 - 62.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Black Sludge recovery

Hasty Nature
- Substitute
- Focus Punch
- Dragon Claw
- Giga Drain / Earthquake

Most people think of Mega Sceptile as a special attacker, well its physical movepool is actually quite good. Substitute on a status or a switch and then fire away with powerful Focus Punches. Dragon Claw for a STAB if you need to KO something, while Giga Drain is for getting back health against quad weak Pokemon like Rhyperior or Gastrodon, EQ is for Doublade which otherwise would wall this set.

To be honest i consider Arikado's set standard (and probably the best set too if you can provide Pursuit support :o) but i guess i'll share something i have been using

Sceptile @ Sceptilite
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 76 HP / 252 SpA / 180 Spe
Timid Nature
- Leaf Storm / Giga Drain
- Dragon Pulse
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Focus Blast / Giga Drain

Hidden Power Fire is honestly very cool on Mega Sceptile allowing it to reliably 2HKO Escavalier (awesome with Psychic types) and reliably hit Bronzong for 30% instead of possibly missing. It also helps with Whimsicott which is like the best switch in offense has and reliably OHKOs Durant as well as doing a chunk to Cobalion without having to miss. The drop of Speed IV honestly sucks so i run a bit of bulk (i still outspeed jolly Lopunny OFC) that helps in tanking a Gyro Ball from Bronzong and similar hits. Nothing special but pretty cool imo.

Sceptile @ Sceptilite
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 80 HP / 252 SpA / 176 Spe or 252 HP / 80 SpA / 176 Spe
Timid Nature
- Substitute
- Leech Seed
- Dragon Pulse
- Giga Drain / Hidden Power Fire / Focus Blast

Back to the roots. Meet SubSeed Sceptile. Nothing that amazing, but I guess it can stall the likes of Bronzong out of Gyro Ball PP (not actually sure, but wouldn't be surprised if that were actually possible).

-Outrage
-Low Kick

Low Kick is a very viable alternative for SD Sceptile, since it hits almost all relevant targets of EQ as hard, if not harder, and it can 2HKO Bronzong. To demonstrate:

+2 252 Atk Sceptile Low Kick (100 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Bronzong: 170-201 (50.2 - 59.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

+2 252 Atk Sceptile Earthquake vs. 160 HP / 0 Def Cobalion: 312-368 (85.9 - 101.3%) -- 31.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
+2 252 Atk Sceptile Low Kick (120 BP) vs. 160 HP / 0 Def Cobalion: 374-440 (103 - 121.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO

+2 252 Atk Sceptile Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Registeel: 272-322 (74.7 - 88.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
+2 252 Atk Sceptile Low Kick (120 BP) vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Registeel: 326-384 (89.5 - 105.4%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

It also does a good 10 extra % to Mega Steelix, which may be quite significant in a game.

The only downside to using Low Kick is for Grass-type resists when you do not want to lock yourself into Outrage, and the declining in popularity Doublade, but gaining the ability to 2HKO Bronzong without support can be a pretty good tradeoff for a lot of teams imo.

Regular Sceptile is better for that set, leftovers are key on that strategy tho purrl
