Overview
########

-decent offensive and defensive typing
-Amazing speed of for PU
-Decent movepool
-Ability grants it immunity to burns
-Mediocre defenses
-Struggles for a teamslot

Choice Band
########
name: Choice Band
move 1: Waterfall
move 2: Ice Punch
move 3: Crunch / Aqua Jet
move 4: Switcheroo
ability: Water Veil
item: Choice Band
evs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
nature: Jolly

Moves
========

-Waterfall for hard hitting STAB, hitting Rock-, Ground-, and Fire-types, such as Golem, Flareon, Camerupt, and Marowak.
-Ice Punch is a hard-hitting coverage move, allowing Floatzel to hit Grass-types such as Gourgeist, Serperior, and Gogoat, as well as Altaria, super effectively
-Crunch is used to hit Psychic- and Ghost-types hard, such as Meowstic, Haunter, Gourgeist, and Misdreavus.
-Aqua Jet is for a strong priority to revenge kill faster things.
-Lastly, Switcheroo is used to cripple walls such as Tangela, Roselia, and Bastiodon, while allowing Floaztel to switch moves.

Set Details
========

-252 EVs in Floatzel's best and most prevelant stats, Attack and Speed.
-Jolly because it hits an amazing speed tier, tying with Sneasel and outpacing Serperior, Tauros, and Raichu.
-Choice Band for a large amount of damage, as well as a great item to cripple walls with Switcheroo.
-Water Veil to protect Floatzel from burns, best choice ability

Usage Tips
========

-Switcheroo to cripple walls
-Waterfall is Floatzel's go-to STAB, and will likely be used most often.
-Try to predict, as being locked into an unfavorable matchup is never good.
-Remove bulky Grass-types beforehand, as it's really hard for Floatzel to take out things such as Tangela and Roselia.

Team Options
========

-Fire-types such as Ninetales, Flareon, and Simisear to beat Grass-types. Floatzel can beat Rock- and Ground-types in return.
-Spikes support from Pokemon such as Garbodor and Glalie, help, allowing it to achieve some KOs.
-Ground-types such as Golem and Marowak make excellent teammates, as they can beat Electric-types giving Floaztel trouble, as well as absorbing possible Thunder Wave's aimed Floatzel's way.
-Grass-types such as Tangela and Roselia to beat opposing Water-types, namely Poliwrath.
-Wish support from Lickilicky is appreciated so Floatzel can come in multiple times.

Baton Pass
########
name: Baton Pass
move 1: Bulk Up
move 2: Waterfall
move 3: Taunt / Substitute
move 4: Baton Pass
ability: Water Veil
item: Leftovers
evs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spe
nature: Jolly

Moves
========

-Bulk Up is to boost Attack and Defense simultaneously
-Waterfall for some offensive presence, as well as utilizing Bulk Up if need be
-Taunt is used to block status moves, such as Sleep Powder and Thunder Wave, healing moves like Lickilicky's Taunt, and rendering some walls, such as Bastiodon, useless
-Substitute is also used to block status and moves such as Leech Seed and Pain Split, and can be passed to a Baton Pass receiver
-Finally, Baton Pass pulls the set together, allowing Floatzel to pass of boosts and/or Substitutes to a teammate

Set Details
========

-252 EVs are placed into HP and Speed, so Floatzel can act as a bulky, yet fast, stat passer.
-Jolly because it hits an amazing speed tier, tying with Sneasel and outpacing Serperior, Tauros, and Raichu.
-Leftovers is used as a steady source of recovery, allowing some longevity
-Water Veil to protect Floatzel from burns, best choice ability
-A more offensive spread can be used with 252 Attack, with Ice Punch, allowing Floatzel to be more its own attacker.

Usage Tips
========

-Taunt or Substitute against walls, then proceed to set up. Bastiodon and Lickilicky are prime examples of setup targets.
-If Floatzel can sweep with its boosts, just keep them. It doesnt always have to pass them away.
-Setup mid-to-late game, as Pokemon will be worn out, more likely to switch, allowing it setup turns.
-Pass to Pokemon with a good type matchup to whatever is in on Floatzel. For example, if Tangela switches in, pass to a Fire-type such as Flareon.

Team Options
========

-Good receivers such as Tauros, Sneasel, and Bouffalant, with either really high speed or bulk, appreciating the boosts.
-Receivers with good defensive synergy, such as Flareon, Marowak, Golem, Klang, and Altaria

Other Options
########

-Swift Swim
-Life Orb
-Brick Break
-Splash Plate to bluff band
-SubPunch
-Pursuit
-Scald
-Special w/ Hydro/Ice Beam
-Agility

-Amazing speed of 115 for PU
You don't need to mention any numbers; the Dex already displays the stats so this would look redundant.

-Struggles for a teamslot
I wouldn't really say this because it adds a bit of bias against Floatzel's viability for no discernable reason. You could just say it's frail or something.

Since Bulk Up Floatzel is not running offensive investment, coverage moves are not as valuable on Floatzel as say, Taunt (blocks phasing, or opposing Taunts / boosting) or Substitute (blocks status, weak Knock Off, and damaging phasing). Crunch especially seems very out of place, as almost nothing gets OHKOed after a boost (not even Meowstic-F :P). You could instead list Ice Punch and Crunch as moves that can be used on a more offensively inclined Bulk Up set in Set Details if you wish.

Water Drone can you please finish this skeleton ASAP? You have 48 hours to finish this skeleton and move it to qc stage, or I'll allow someone else to pick it up. (Yes I know that you want to finish Tangela fist, but honestly you can at least move this out of the wip stage)

I haven't used floatzel, but I have a couple of comments:

Poliwrath desperately needs to be mentioned in C&C, it's one of, if not the most common Pokemon in PU and it walls Floatzel so hard it's ridiculous. Sure it doesn't like Switcheroo, but it minds it a lot less than pretty much any other defensive answer does. Avalugg should also be there, it minds Switcheroo a bit more but it still hard walls you.

Remove Wish from team options of the first set, floatzel doesn't really fit into the same types of teams as most wish users. Not to mention the fact that it is neutral to stealth rock and doesn't take recoil from anything, not even life orb, so it doesn't need wish support more than anything else.

Poliwrath was already there under phazing. Ill make sure to mention avalugg too. Ill remove wish support as well I suppose. Thanks.

I saw that, but I'm saying that it needs its own section because it's such an important pokemon and such a hard counter. It should be the first section as well for these reasons. It's a counter for a lot more reasons than just circle throw.

Do you think I could make a section Physical walls? Avalugg, Poliwrath, Tangela etc? And then maybe just mention poliwrath under phasing again.

You could if you think it would work better, but Poliwrath still needs to be in its own section, which should also be the first section. This is not only for the reasons stated above, but also because offensive variants of Poliwrath also counter floatzel and by definition aren't physical walls.

Overview
########
Say its niche over other waters (its speed and BP)
Mention it is easy to check/counter due to limited and weak movepool

Choice Band
########
Put low kick here as first slash in 3rd move; it 2hkos ava without rocks 0.0

Moves
========
Remove mention of altaria
Mention ajet isnt too important due to very high speed
Remove mention of bastiodon, as waterfall smacks them anyway
Mention low kick here as well

Team Options
========
Give examples of KO's hazards score
Remove last line; floatzel and lickilicky arent used on the same team

Baton Pass
########
Usage Tips
========
Give examples of pokemon floatzel sets up on

Other Options
########
Remove Brick break

Checks & Counters
########
Write these up in full, please. I cant really comment on them now.
**Taunt**: Remove this, taunt only affects subpass set, and it outspeeds every taunter
**Phazing**: Remove this as well, it only affects subpass and roar can be taunted (bastiodon really isnt a floatzel check)

Add **Water Types**, as ones like poliwrath and lapras take hits and can revenge kill, whilst carracosta sets up on it

Water Drone

Maranga Berry in OO, it is decent for the BP set, but only boosts once so it only works for the first pass. There is also the fact that the spdef boost helps keep floatzel alive longer
