If I have to deal with Nanab Berry Magmortar, RNGsus traps, and 2 effectively pointless traps for anyone packing a proper Psychic-type control/damage mon or Poison-type control/damage mon, I'll at least use the traditional 'Murican spelling of sulfur while doing so. >_>
Saxton [Colossoil] (M)
Nature: Jolly (+15% Spe, +14% Acc, -1 SpA)
Type:
: Dark STAB; ignores Attract and Confusion status entirely when using Dark-type damaging and non-damaging attacks.
: Ground STAB; immune to Sandstorm. Ignores Arena restrictions on Dig and Seismic Attacks for Arenas in which any land mass exists, Evasive Digging reduced from 6 per action Energy Cost to 5 per action.
Abilities:
Rebound: (Trigger) The Pokemon is able to bounce one layer of an entry hazard back from their side of the field to the other side with their immense strength and intuition.
Guts: (Passive) This Pokemon is tenacious and will work ever harder when under a status condition, raising the Base Attack Power of all its physical attacks by two (2). Pokemon with Guts ignore the attack drop from burn.
Pressure: (Passive) This Pokemon's presence fills the air with intense anxiety, and any damaging or status attack launched at this Pokemon costs the opposing Pokemon two (2) more energy to perform.

Type:
: Ghost STAB; immune to the effects of full trapping moves and the Arena Trap, Magnet Pull, and Shadow Tag abilities. Ghost types can switch out while affected by a partial trapping move, but they will be damaged every action by their effect.
: Poison STAB; immunity to Poison/Toxic status. Absorb Toxic Spikes on switch-in unless Flying-typed or using the ability Levitate. -- Accuracy when using Toxic, Poison Gas, or Poison Powder, hitting even during Dig, Fly, etc. Ignore Fog's accuracy reduction. Store Command.
Abilities:
Levitate: This Pokemon naturally floats above the earth when released or easily takes flight, evading the Ground moves Bulldoze, Earthquake, Fissure, and Magnitude. Earth Power will have three (3) less Base Attack Power. Dig and Dive can strike a Levitating Pokemon if their user is over Size Class 4, has Levitate, is 3.5m or larger, or is a Flying-type. Ms. Pauling [Musharna] (F)
Nature: Modest
Type:
: Psychic STAB; can lift and throw opponents with Psychic regardless of Special Attack Rank. Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.
Abilities:
Forewarn: (Passive) This Pokemon is more adept than usual at sensing and reacting to the opponent's attacks. As a result, it gets a bonus move substitution that must have a condition in the format "If Pokemon X uses move Y", with no further qualifiers or additional clauses allowed. This bonus substitution may go anywhere in the list of substitutions the pokemon makes, but it must be indicated with "Bonus" or "Bonus Sub" or something similar in front of the bonus substitution.
Synchronize: (Passive) Pokemon with this ability mentally link their condition to an opposing Pokemon and when inflicted by the major status ailments Burn, Poison, or Paralysis, will share their status condition with the opponent. Pokemon will not be inflicted by status conditions to which they are immune by virtue of typing, ability, etc.
Telepathy: (Passive) This Pokemon has a mental link with its allies in multiple battles, which allows it to avoid taking damage from allied attacks that damage each foe or the entire field like Blizzard and Earthquake. They are still affected by an opponents spread damage attacks.

Black Sulfur Caldera is a deep and blackened pit that once erupted in a massive fiery explosion many hundreds of years ago. The terrain is now mostly barren with torched and odorous burns across its face. Nothing lives within miles of the area, not even Fire-type Pokemon, as the land is so inhospitable that very little can sustain life above ground. At the base of the caldera, however, there exists a small pit that recently opened up due to seismic activity. Some Pokemon trainers have ventured into the pit to explore, only to return with their whole Pokemon team fainted and them babbling nonsense about the magma demon therein (with the exception of Its_A_Random, who brought Mr. Mime and Fidgit and pwned, and Engineer Pikachu, who accidentally KO'd the magma demon instead). Intrigued, you prepare your Pokemon and decide to explore it yourself. Hopefully you'll find yourself better prepared than those others (besides Its_A_Random) before you.
